"I was looking to get a bracelet, for a certain someone, and thought Bluefly seemed like the place to go to that had no only unique fashionable choices, but at fair to discount prices. It became clear soon enough that these prices were for a reason.

The bracelet, which was lined with crystals, arrived in time for the birthday of the person I was giving it to, however it was missing a crystal. It hadn't fallen out in the box, it was shipped to me already damaged.

I immediately worked to send it back. It took an entire weekend for the "flyrep" customer service to reply to me. Ultimately the email said "call customer service".

I called and was able to schedule a pick-up of the damaged item and a 2-day shipping of the new item. This was all already late for the birthday I got this for.

After getting the new one, I inspected it, it seemed fine. Within 30 minutes of her wearing it, a crystal fell out.

You get what you pay for (if not worse than what you paid for).

"Bluefly has the worst returning service, They received my return on Nov 29th,2011 and still have not credit my return,contacted their customer service and they told me it will take up to 10 business days before they could process my return. I have never ever seen any companies are like this, Charged me immediately and hold onto my money to make more interests to benefit themselves. I definitely won't shop from them any more, Like the previous reviewers stated that nowadays there are a lot of online boutiques offer much better merchandises plus better shipping and return services. I'm here to advise you don't shop with bluefly anymore, they SUCK! Hope they will be out of business as soon as possible"

"This place is horrible! I don't usually shop at Bluefly because their prices are much higher than you can find elsewhere for the same items; they mostly sell last season's, last year's, returns from other stores or unpopular-merchandise-by-popular-brands and it's much cheaper to shop the sales at regular online boutiques or sample sale sites. However, I have placed three orders with them. The first two were several years ago. They cancelled half the items, and the other half were horrible. The items by relatively unknown brands I had taken chances on were of terrible quality and overall looked cheap. The Diesel (a brand I love and buy alot) backpack and leisure pants were the worst colour I'd ever seen in person (vastly different from the picture) and missing half of the waist stitching, respectively. It was pretty obvious why both had ended up at Bluefly. You'd think I'd never shop there again, and I thought I wouldn't. But, after years passing and a decent sale I took the plunge. I decided to give them another shot because they were having a 40% off sale and I was having trouble finding the size I needed in a Mackage jacket, which they happened to have. They now have the timed shopping cart where you have to buy an item within 30 minutes of adding it, or it will be removed (I'm actually a fan of this feature since it keeps you from getting to checkout at a site and finding out an item is gone). So, I found three jackets (different brands and styles) I loved and hurried to check out, which turned out to be a headache. The site kept "forgetting" the were having a sale so you had to go back and click on the email sale link after every step (I'm guessing quite a few people "accidentally" got charged full price). Once I finally got through, I was excited about getting my jackets. Until I found out (FIVE days later, AFTER getting the order acknowledgement and order confirmation) that they didn't have ANY of the jackets. They said they were "sorry they hadn't kept track of inventory" and "on rare occasions this happens", then offered free shipping on another order (which is their current promotion anyway), but without the 40% sale I originally bought from. So far my odds on items being canceled from Bluefly orders is nearly 70% (much higher than any of their discounts, btw), and my dissatisfaction with orders is, well, 100%. I concur with the consensus here and elsewhere that this site is a waste of time and space. I would also mention that although most of their items are authentic they have been WIDELY accused for years of sometimes selling fake items, and always dealing with the situation poorly (a google search should easily bring up more detail), so always be careful/aware if you order from them."

"hey guy! it took me about a month to get my money back! yep, I eventually GOT MY MONEY BACK!! I have been reading all the reviews online and have been very conscious about my returns. I followed up pretty much every day and called them to ensure my return's been processed. Who ever have already made a mistake shopping at bluefly needs to be very patient and really follow up. If you don't, they may NEVER return your money back!!! The only thing that sucks is that I have to pay the shipping fee twice (shipping out and turn), but I'm still happy cuze I have "most" of my money back!! WARNING! over all the bluefly is not a good place to shop! if you are the one looking for high quality brand new products like I was, THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE FOR YOU!!!"

"I ordered a really nice crop jacket from there, I liked how they had reviews and sizes of the people reviewing the products so it gave me a better idea about my sizing. The shipping was fast, the customer service was really nice and the quality was great and everything was neatly packaged. The things that made me rate bluefly lower is the price of the merchandise. There are cheaper websites out there and the international shipping cost is outrageous! If they lower their shipping costs, I would order from them again. "

"I signed up last week for a Bluefly account and as a "welcome gift" they sent me a promo code for $30 off my first purchase. When I tried to use it, it turns out it had expired a week before they sent it to me. I tried to contact customer service about it, but received an automated response about promo codes that was no help to my situation. The last straw was when I received promotional emails almost every day when I remember opting out them when I signed up. After not finding an option to unsubscribe from their mailing list at the bottom of their email (standard business practice for most retailers), I contacted customer service again and received a link to unsubsubscribe. When I got to the page to unsubscribe, IT WOULDN'T LET ME hit the "submit" button b/c it claimed I didn't fill out all the info, when honest to goodness, there was nothing I left blank. Livid, I called Bluefly and 10 min later, a rep said she'd tell Tech Support to manually remove my account. I never got the chance to buy a single thing from Bluefly, but they somehow still alienated me as a customer."

"The products are of good quality, the shipping was fast. However, the customer service and reliability needs some serious improvements. The international shipping fee is outrageous.
I placed an order last week and when I completed the transaction, I realized that there is another jacket that suits me. So I contacted the customer service agent to inquire about combine shipment and she told me that if I made another purchase, they will refund one of the shipping fees. So I placed my second order and give the order numbers to the customer service agent and she agreed to waive the 2nd shipping fee.
It has been a week since the transaction and I receive no refund from them. I talk to the customer service agent today and they insist that no refund will be given to international buyers. What a BIG SCAM!
The second shipping fee costs as much as the item i bought and they promised a refund, so the promise is made but not kept...
Just open a dispute with paypal and hope I can get my money back.

"had bought a prada sunglasses and a fendi wallet. Both of them arrived pretty fast and the quality was amazing, authentic items, no defect and such. If you find an item that you like on their website, check whether they have the same item on their ebay store, since the shipping on the ebay store is 2.95$ and shipping on their website is 7.95$, you get the same exact item anyway.

"Ordered a coat that was labeled large, but it would probably only fit a child so I had to return it. Days and days have gone by with no return on my credit card. I have contacted this company through their email and facebook to no avail. They gave out some arbitrary date that they said they processed the money back on to my card. Well, it's been 10 days since that arbitrary date and still no money back into my account. These people are scammers. Do NOT buy anything! "

"horrible service.Bought a pair of cole haan shoes for $400.Got them and the sole of the show was warped (seemed like they got wet and they were wooden soles.So i got a rma # and sent them back.2 weeks later they shipped em back to me saying they wont accept the return b/c there was no shoe box.Im a repeat customer and i spend thousands of dollars with these animals youd think theyd care.well they dont so im going to reship em back and dispute it w/ my discover card.theylle never see another dollar from me as they really dont know the first thing about customer service"

"There is nothing wrong with the web site, shipping, or the purchasing experience. I feel the need to warn you though that the sizing chart is a waste of time. Unless you are built like a model, don’t bother ordering. I have tried ordering clothes in multiple sizes and nothing fits correctly. If they gave measurements for all the sizes, I could figure out if it would fit, but they don’t.

Don’t waste your time or the $7 return fee (each time).

"BEWARE THAT BLUEFLY.COM WILL NOT CORRECT ANY ERROR(S) WITH AN ORDER ONCE IT BEGINS PROCESSING INCLUDING SHIPPING ADDRESS ERRORS.

Firstly, the order processed without a final review. Once this happened I noticed that the order is to be delivered to an old address where I do not live. I immediately called customer service to correct the problem but was told that the order cannot be changed due to security reasons and because this is their 'corporate' policy. This is not only frustrating but puzzling because this means that it is more secure for a package to be sent to an address that is not the same as the billing address.

In the end, they would not and did not help me in any way so now the package will be sent to an address that is half-way across the U.S and I have to get to it somehow or count it as a loss. I cannot believe that an online business such as Bluefly.com with the amount of experience they have has such an inane and non-service minded policy. Suffice to say, I will never shop at Bluefly.com again and I have been a member since 2002.

"I ordered a Chloe handbag and it shipped within 3 days. I shipped the item back and the tracking number showed a signature of receipt on 11/19.I started calling them two weeks later to find out why I had not yet received a credit (this was for $1450.00). I was told to wait 3 weeks and if no credit, to call them back. I called on 12/8, and no credit had yet been issued; I was connected to a supervisor and she said "she would check on issuing a credit but had to talk to corporate." She promised to call me back within 24 hours. I never heard from her and called customer service again (I requested to speak with the same supervisor but was told she was busy). After being placed on hold for 10 minutes, the rep came back on to say that I would be credited that day and would get an email confirming this. I did not get an email and called again on 12/10 and requested one (it finally was sent to me that day). I was told that it would take 3 days to show up on my account. It has not shown up and my credit card company will have to file a dispute after 10 days. This was a nightmare and is not over yet. I spent a lot of time calling them and I work 50 hours a week. I was charged interest on my credit card because they failed to credit me by Dec. 4. I shop online with many stores and have never had an issue with a return. I will never shop with bluefly again and let them know that when I spoke with them. Beware of returns to this site.
