"I had an awful experience with Bluefly getting my money back! I returned the item according to the instruction provided - waited, waited and waited for their receipt confirmation. It did not come so I finally called the customer service...they told me it takes 10 to 15 business days to receive the credit so waited, waited and waited. Still nothing happend so I called them again and finally after 7 calls, almost one month later, I received an email confirming that they have processed a return - which means it will take another 5 business days to see the actual credit back to my account!!!! Unless you are 100% sure to keep the merchansise from Bluefly, it is not worth it. I do not recommend this on-line retailer. "

"I fell in love with a purse on Bluefly. I waited, and waited and finally talked myself into ordering it. I was so excited... until I received it. The purse was black leather and it had scratches and nicks all over it. The purse looked used - or it was a store leftover that had a rough life. Needless to say, I returned it for a full refund.

While waiting for the purse to arrive I placed a second order with Bluefly for a pair of gloves and a scarf. The gloves were red leather and gorgeous, except that they looked like they had been packed too tightly together or something, as they already had a very worn looking patina - almost brownish. The scarf was of horrible quality - so thin you could see right through it and covered in lint and hair. I returned this order too but this time they charged me shipping - both ways!

Bluefly does not send anything in its original packaging. No dust bags for purses etc... Everything comes wrapped in tissue paper in a Bluefly paper bag. Somethings might come in a cheap plastic bag.

This was a horrible experience - Bluefly is a rip-off. You're better off looking for designer sales elsewhere, where you'll actually get new looking items.

"This was my second order ever with bluefly, and the second time I had to return it because the item was badly damaged/defective!

My purchase was for Argento Vivo smokey topaz earrings. First- the designer stamp was not on the earrings and the stones looked like glass. I am convinced these were cheap dimestore knockoffs. What lead me to return them was that both earrings had posts that were bent flat!

What kind of retailer sends such horribly defective merchandise? Also, such terrible quality knockoffs while advertising items as a designer brand!

I will never order from bluefly again! How can they charge me to return defective items??? Horrible business practices and even worse quality merchandise.

"I ordered a fairly pricey bag from Bluefly recently. It was the first time I had ever purchased anything from their site. Everything worked out well, and the bag arrived within two days. Three days after I completed my order however, I saw the same bag for 15% off on their site. I chatted with an online customer service rep who instantly credited me the price difference. I will most definitely be purchasing from them again in the near future. I read the other reviews and want to state that I have no experience with their return policy. I would only purchase things from them that I have seen in person at a store."

"DON'T USE BLUEFLY!! (unless you plan on keeping everything you buy!) I have ordered from this site before and unfortunately due to fit or quality have returned many items I have ordered..I hadn't placed an order in over 2 years and just did the other day..the company wrote back to me saying they were canceling my order because they felt they couldn't "satisfy my needs". They said we were not "a good match to continue to do business together". Basically I wasn't buying enough and they want nothing to do with me..I think that is ridiculous for an online retail company to refuse business because a customer has returned more items then they've kept..I've only ordered 3 or 4 times and I have kept some items..anyway..just wanted to get the word out there about this policy of theirs that is not documented anywhere on their website.."

"BLUEFLY SUCKS!!!! Unlike most clothing e-tailers, they don't have a free return/exchange policy. How am I supposed to know if the shirt fits or not? I bought a shirt for $50 on the site, and it turned out to be both too big and defective (one of the seams wasn't sewn correctly) and so I returned it, asking for a refund. They only gave me $30 back! They wouldn't refund me the shipping charges for buying the item (which is understandable) but then they charged me an extra $10 for shipping it back to them. Ridiculous! Don't buy clothes from them unless you know that the shirt will fit, and you have faith that they won't ship you a defective item. If you are from Bluefly reading this, give me my money back and I will update this review."

"Bluefly put out a $20 off code ENJOY01, once used they cancelled everyones orders and then started sending out email advertisements. What a sucky way to gather names. Would never buy from them again in my life. "

"I placed an order and it was recieved in a timely manner but I did return the items in a way that was acceptable to them to get a refund. My refund was short about 5 dollars and after repeated contacts to fix the error there still has been no positive response or one that makes any sense. The is no clause in the purchasing agreement which allows them to take my money and they have yet to state one."
