New blinds for new windows

"After a renovation in a very old house after water damage, we ordered 1 inch mini-blinds for 3 windows and roman shades for 2 windows. Our order was received 13 days after ordering. The blinds & shades were inside mounts and fit perfectly. This was our 2nd order from Blindsgalore, and we highly recommend their products."

Partial Review

"Ordering our blinds from the Blindsgalore.com web page was very easy. The site is laid out well and was easy to navigate and order the blinds.

The Blinds arrived in a reasonable time period and were well packaged.

We ordered two sets of blinds for large picture windows. One with a right pull setup (the curtains pull to the right side), and one that was a double pull. (The curtain splits in the middle and the blinds pull to each side of the window)

These were replacement blinds, so installation was pretty easy.

The blinds ordered were patterned and colored on one side and white on the other.

When I installed the double pull blind, I found that both blinds twisted to the left. This means when they are open. One side has the patterned/colored side out, and the other has the white side out. (turning the blind over on the attaching pin did not correct the issue)

I called the company and they had the manufacturer send me instructions that were supposed to fix the issue. The instructions did not give me the information needed to fix the issue. I called back and was told they would send a new rod out that was set up correctly. I made sure the issue was clear to the person I talked to on the phone. I am awaiting the new rod to see if it is set up correctly.

In regards to your package, many of our shipments leave the factory, but take up to 72 hours to scan in to the system. Harder to install than advertised

"I ordered the Blindsgalore outdoor solar screen blind. Before ordering, I watched an "install video" and decided I could manage the installation. Unfortunately, the installation of the blind I ordered was completely different than the install video. Also, I was emailed generic install instructions which did not match the blind or parts in my box. So I had a lot of questions about what order to assemble the parts in and then how to install it. Not wanting to screw it up, I called the support number and they were unable to help me. When I pressed for answers to my (very basic) questions, I was actually given wrong answers! After several hours of trial and error and many drilled and re-drilled holes, I figured out how to install it, but then the blind would catch and would not go all the way up. I again called support (3rd time) and they said they would open a case for me and a technician would contact me. I never ever received a call or follow up. I removed the blind, took it apart, and figured out a solution, but it was incredibly frustrating. Also 2(!) of the metal screw heads broke off when I was screwing them into the pressure treated wood on my screened-in porch. Poor quality screws? I had to take it all down again 2 more times and use new screws that I acquired myself. We like the blind alot but the installation was not straightforward and certainly not as advertised. It would have been quite simple if the installation instructions actually matched the pieces and parts of the blind I ordered."
