"Poor, Poor & even Worthless customer service! Ordered 2 - Dean DCR Mustaine Zero guitars. 1 - arrived in excellent condition & the other...not so good. Case was damaged and the headstock was scuffed. I was surprised that they both came from Dean in Tampa, FL. and even more surprised that it was intentional of them to send me a flawed guitar and fucked-up case...the box was not damaged. It's not everyday that I spend my hard earned cash in the amount of $2,400 only to receive shitty customer service. It's been 2 - weeks since the guitar was sent back to Dean only to have NO correspondence whatsoever with Dean or Beyond Fuckheads. Oh, they play a good game and act like they gonna do something but do or will they ever return your calls & take care of the customer? NOOOOOO! They like to leave you hanging, guessing and playing their games. I'm D.U.N., done with these idiots...they SUCK ASS! Beware! & DON'T BUY FROM! EVER!"

"I ordered an Ibanez RG Trem - BE had the cheapest price I could hunt down. Free shipping said 7-14 days, mine arrived on the 13th. Sometimes it's nice to be surprised by a timely delivery but I can't reasonably complain if I got it in the period listed.

Happy with the order, only complaint I have is that the guitar may have taken a few bumps and bangs along the way. It's having a bit of trouble keeping in tune, but that could be something outside of BE's scope, or just a matter of breaking the axe in a bit more.

"This company lists free shipping for item's if your willing to wait 10-14 days (Beware! - thats only if it's in stock or currently on order - CALL FIRST!). I purchased a seymour duncan pickup, was not notified they dont actually have it in stock or on order, then was not notified after 14 days on the still pending status. After 14 days, I called and was told that they do not know when they're batch order from seymour duncan will come in, nor will they overnight my purchase to me when it eventually does come in. I just had them cancel the order. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME. CALL FIRST!"

"Like some of the other recent reviewers, I've had a very bad experience with Beyond Eleven. I ordered an item from them listed as in stock. It didn't show for weeks after the order was placed. I kept trying to get status updates by phone and by email and had no success. I finally called to cancel the order and get a refund. That was well over a week ago and I STILL haven't gotten a refund. If you want good customer service, or even to receive an order you've placed and paid for, I suggest shopping elsewhere. I would like to support as many independent retailers as possible, but next time I'm looking for a specialty item I'll be going right back to the reliable folks at Analogue Haven instead. Avoid!"

"The guys on the phone are very nice. Great guys. That might be why its so hard to be angry at them for the lying and dishonesty. I ordered a small item that I was told was in stock and would ship out in the next day or so. May 17. I received it on July 5. When I said I wanted to cancel the order after three weeks, I was told it couldn't be done. They will say anything to keep a sale. Plus hidden fees! You might get lucky but I say stay away."

"BEWARE!!! BE VERY CAREFUL!!! This company is a scam company!!! I was charged for items they say were in stock, and took my money online...then never shipped the items, and cancelled my order...BEWARE!!! Any questions, you can contact me..I will provide the whole situation...AL and BOB in their customer service department only told me what they thought I wanted to hear to get me off of the phone...they then started to threaten me that they were going to call the local authorities...I welcome them to do so!!! SCAMMERS!!! "

"Ordered 2 EMG Bass pickups and control. All the items showed "in stock" with the green delivery truck icon on the site. I waited 2 weeks, no sign of shipping. I finally called. The website still shows they are in stock. The guy on the phone talks about EMG making them to order and it takes them a while. He says wait another week for them to get them from EMG. What part of "In Stock" do they not understand?

Update - I received my pickups and the order was correct. They did deliver.

"I ordered a Schecter PT left handed guitar. They had the best price of any online dealer and they had lefties which is something I look for. After a week of waiting I gave them a call to check the status. Their answering system was entertaining and when I was connected I spoke with a very helpful person. He explained that the guitar had been shipped from the manufacturer and it would arrive at the store on the 29th. Everything that he explained to me was spot on and a week later I had my new git in my hands. I would definitely buy from them again."

" I ordered one of the Patriot series limited guitars that is no longer available from Michael Kelly I found it at Beyond Eleven for a very good price. Just to verify that it was in stock, I gave them a call and to my dismay that particular model guitar was not available any more.
The very helpful sales rep went over some alternative options with me but my heart was really set on my original choice and the price range.
The sales rep said he'd call me back with a price on a very similar but more pricey Michael Kelly model. Within about 10 minutes 'give or take' I got a call from 'Beyond Eleven', I thought to myself "Wow that was quick". I was a little apprehensive when I answered, because I really didn't have any extra cash at the time for an upgrade. The sales rep then informed me that there was an error and that they in fact did have one of the guitars that I wanted in stock and that it was in the shop being given the once over before shipment. I was elated to say the least. I got an email with a tracking number within a couple hours or so... The guitar was on the way. It was delivered 2 days later... What fantastic service, a guitar on the way within hours! Thanks Beyond Eleven!

"I just got here to write my review and noticed the top comment about the ****@**** not replying. I have to say that the email service has not replied to me either, HOWEVER, if you call this store they are quick to answer and they are most definitely friendly and helpful. I have had a 5 star experience talking with their sales reps and placing an order. My B.C. Rich Draco was shipped to me with a stellar deal and FREE shipping... AND it arrived in TWO days with an expected delivery time of one to two weeks. I came to their site because of the store's name. Now I have even more reason to come back. Great experience so don't let someone's laziness to call the store and have things worked out over the phone stop you from getting an awesome deal on the gear you want."

"I ordered a BC Rich eagle case and it was shipped out I believe, a week later?. I also ordered a Laney 212 cabinet but that, like the case wasn't shipped right away. It seems they have this batch shipping, they have to wait until they get many items to ship in order to give you free shipping. They do tell you it will be shipped in 7 to 14 days so it should be no surprise. The cab was factory sealed and in brand new condition. Perfect.

My only complaint is that they aren't as accessible as the other big online companies. But they will eventually call you back if you leave a message and are helpful.
