"There was an issue regarding acquisition of the Olympus TG-1 that I ordered - it was backordered by the original source. Once I was able to reach Gary at customer service, arrangements were quickly made to acquire the camera from another source. It was shipped Monday and received Tuesday and I was provided with an high speed HDHC card for the delay. The USB cable was missing from the box (an Olympus issue) and Gary sent me one of those as well."

"I have to admit after having read some of the reviews I was wary, but placed an order anyway. It turns out they no longer carry what I had placed an order for, but they did try hard and made it up to me in the process and I am satisfied."

"So i read the reviews like everyone else and was very skeptical so I called them to ask questions and they were very short with me (specifically Frank at ext. 215). I tried to get transferred to Roger Walker cause I heard he's the nice one there, but Frank didn't know him and didn't want to do it. I mean they're in Brooklyn NY so what do you expect? Anywho if you haven't noticed they sell two versions of most cameras where one says its a "USA retail kit", which is way more expensive. I asked about the whole "USA retail kit" and they said that comes with a Manufactures warranty and the other version comes with USA warranty through them. I asked why one version doesn't come with a manufactures warranty and we got cut off- which was the second time we got cut off, 3rd time I called, and each time I called I had about a 5 minute wait time- except one call where no one picked up at all. So I had already had enough so I chose not to order from them. If you're wondering why they sell one version without Manufacturers warranty it's because its a Gray Market product - just do google research on what that means and make your own decision whether you want to take the risk or not.
Based on the difficulty of reaching them and the attention to customer service I decided to take my business to a more reputable place. A quote from the movie "Tommy Boy" seems relevant here "You know I could guarantee you all day
long, but we both know a guarantee is only as good as the man who writes it." I'm not convinced bestpricephotos' guarantee would be worth the paper it was written on based on my experience thus far. It just feels like they are hiding something - why not be up front about everything? Anywho thats my 2 cents.

"I am ammending my extremely negative review in good faith.

I just spoke to Roger in the Customer Service Dept. He is assuring me that the camera I purchased will be sent out to me by the end of the month. I will not go into detail on how they are resolving this, but I will warn that their website does not reflect accurate inventory. I suggest that anyone buying from this company place a call directly instead of just ordering online, to ensure that what they are buying is in and ready to ship. We are now over two months in on an order I placed for the Canon EOS Rebel T3i (600D) Digital Camera with 18-55mm IS II Lens Kit. It has still not arrived, but again I am being assured it will be here by May 31st.

"I had very similar problems to everyone who posted reviews about this company. I would get hung up on and couldn't talk to anyone about my order and even canceled my order, but Roger called me and came through. I can't say enough good things about him. He upgraded my order, gave me a lot of extra items and promised to have them to me in 3 days. Since this ios only the first day, I will updated again once received. He truly does what he can to make you happy."

"My experience with this company has been awful up to this point. After ordering the camera, I was called the next day and told the camera I ordered didn't have a battery. So, I went ahead and took the camera with the extended battery, which is what some are calling the bait and switch method. I called back a couple days and canceled the order, but they already billed my credit card. I was told I would get a refund in 7-10 days. It has now been 28 days and counting. Still no refund, after several calls I am always told it will be in my account in a couple days. The person I always talk to is rude and eager to get off the phone. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE! "

"I purchased Nikon D600 and a Nkkor 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5G ED VR Lens on Wednesday 5/15/2013. I got the confirmation email with a link to track the order but the link took me to their main webpage and to not an order page. I got concerned and I tried to contact their customer service. Today on 5/20/2013 I called after waiting on the calls for considerable time, I got to speak to an agent who was friendly and considerate. He told me that the item (Nikon D600) is on the back order. I explained that I cannot wait for the order so he cancelled my order.

I will give high mark for their price (best on the internet) but would take a star back as they should have a system to let me know straight away that the item is on the back order.

"Don't even bother with ordering anything from this website. I ordered my camera D5200 on May 14th and I never gotten a confirmation email after a week and Had place the 3 business day shipping but they said it won't ship til may 24th. The person who I talked to was extremely rude, he refer me to as "Man" and didn't even ask me if I have any other question. First of all, he didn't even say what his name was. This customer service is super bad compare to other people I have talked to."

"DO NOT purchase anything from this place! I should have researched more about this company and read the bad reviews before placing my order. Their customer service, or lack thereof, is rude and could care less about helping.

I ordered a Canon PowerShot N on May 2, and waited 24-72 hours, hoping to receive a confirmation email thereafter. Nothing! I called a week later and was told that my camera would be shipped out the following week. Well, it is now 10 business days later and still no email. What a crappy company! The website says that the camera is available. I emailed them 2 days ago, but no response. Then, I checked their website, and they are closed due to a holiday. What holiday am I missing? I will call tomorrow and see what kind of run around I will get. I am cancelling my order once I get a hold of them. Bad company to do business! Beware!

"I am beyond frustrated. This company is so bad, you cannot even cancel your order with them. I placed an order on May 6. A week later I called to see if it would be processed and shipped soon as I need the camera in short order. The rep was rude and, even though their site didn't say that, implied that it could take weeks just to ship it and another 7 to 9 days for the Free Shipping. When I asked if I could upgrade the shipping, he said to hold on, then the phone went done. Now, it's a few days later and my status is still "in process" so I decided to call and cancel the order. Problem: they don't answer the phone. I keep getting a recording saying when their business hours are, and my calls are within those parameters. Several, several calls. Recording every time. I tried to email and cancel. No reply. I suspect they are, at worst, a dishonest, fraudulent company, or, at best, the worst customer service I've ever encountered. At this point, I will have to pay my bank to authorize a stop payment since BestPricePhoto.com refuses to get back to me. (Postscript: It took two full days to speak with someone and cancel the order. I wasn't charged, but that doesn't change the fact that this company has horrible customer service.) Believe the posts. I didn't."
