"Same story here. they suck. ordered on 1/28/03 credit
card billed on 1/30/03. emailed them 2/13/03. they
responed, item such and such is on backorder. emailed
them 3 more time with no response. will contact credit
card company to dispute charges. also contacted yahoo
about this at

AMAZING thing is that 4 hours after sending complaint to yahoo, these scammers emailed me: item such and such is on backorder, but we can ship rest of order and refund $ for backordered items. UnFingBelievable.

"BEWARE!!! Stay away from this unprofessional "company" I have contacted the BBB. Wish I would have investigated before getting involved with these rude people. I ordered a game and paid with paypal. They accepted payment that day and I got no response. I waited a few days and wrote them asking where my game was. They wrote me back letting me know that my item was on BACKORDER! Why would a company accept money for something they DON'T HAVE IN STOCK!! I have copied some of the emails so that you can see how these people deal with their customers.. you be the judge!

Thank you for your response. I am not quite sure why you did not contact me to let me know of the backorder on my item. I am also not sure why you would take payment for something that you do not even have in stock yet. Usually companies do not bill until the merchandise is deliverable. "Wish I'd read these reviews before placing my order. I ordered two Game Boy Advance AC adapters for my two sons for $1.99 each + 5.99 shipping. Neither worked.

I bought two Mad Catz adaptors at a retail store and they worked fine.

FWIW they did give me a phone number. ***-***-****

I'll give them a call but don't expect much. Return shipping will be more than the $3.98 for the defective products. Oh well, at least I am only out $9.97.

"The company billed my credit card and never delivered the merchandise. After several emails they finally replied that the items were out of stock on January 12, 2003. They offered to either replace wit hdifferent games or refund. I chose refund but as of Feb 1, 2003 they haven't responded and I haven't received a refund. What a lousy company. I wouldn't reccommend them to anyone !"

"Well, first of all let me say that this has been the worst experience dealing with a merchant that I've had. I was surprised that I was even sent an e-mail to rate my ordering experience.
On 1/15/03 I ordered a PS2 mobile monitor and a PS2 hard case for my son that was also to be sent airborne overnight. Well, the only thing that happened overnight was my credit card was billed $154.97. I have sent numerous e-mails to Baysoftgames Customer Service and also made numerous calls to the Phone number that they provide (which is only answered by an answering machine) and have received no response back from this so called merchant as to where my order is. As I felt I was left no other choice, I have contacted my credit card company and advised them of the situation, which they will be looking into. Since I also work in Law Enforcement, I have filed a complaint to have this matter and company further investigated. At this point, giving this merchant a poor rating would be giving them to much credit, this based on my experience thus far with them. BAYSOFTGAMES CAN REST ASSURED THAT THEY HAVE NOT HEARD THE LAST ON THIS MATTER!!!...
If Baysoftgames.com is offended by what I've stated here, then I encourage them to contact me, however I don't see that happening since they don't even take the time to reply back to emails. -- (Remember, Crooks always get caught in their own game!!!...)

"Update: After 11days, 3 polite emails, and contacting the Wisconsin BBB, Baysoftgames did get back to me about sending me the wrong products and 2 day air'd me the correct ones even before I had to return the products they mistakenly sent me. So I retract my comment about them being a "rip off" company, but on the other hand, this seems to be the case of a small business that has outgrown its capacity to provide adequate customer service. Their prices and shipping are quite fair and I'm just happy that they finally did get back to me and apologized for the problem."

"Lied about the shipping date even though I pad $10 for 2 day shipping. Takes 2-3 emails to get a single response (days later) Got broken item from them. Had to send it back priority mail (because it has to be back in 10 days or they refuse it) and they have no more in stock. Asked for a refund and got a smug "Thanks for the nice note, very impressive" response instead of a refund. UPDATE!!! They refunded my money (less shipping) to Paypal. So much for their "as is" no refund policy!!! HAHAHA"

"I purchased 2 GameCube Games for my grandsons for Christmas. I ordered them on 11/11 so there would plenty of time before the Christmas rush. I didn't received anything from this company until 12/27. Then I only received 1 of the 2 that I ordered. My credit card was charged for the 2 games. I have written many, many emails to this company. Calling doesn't work either because they won't answer the call. I have bought many things over the internet and was always satisfied until now. This company is a rip-off and should be banned from selling. They are not reputable and I certainly wish I'd have seen their ratings before I placed my first and LAST order with them. I'm trying to get my credit card refunded now - fat chance of that happening!!!"

"I purchased several items from Baysoftgames in November. My CC was charged immediately. The package arrived around two weeks later, but half of the items were missing. Inside, my packing list was there with some of the missing items circled with "b.o." written in red pen. One item was missing completely from the list (that I was charged for). There was no notification of any sort provided ahead of time.

I contacted the company three times via email just asking about when I could expect the backordered items to arrive.

Absolutely no response. By looking at the other ratings, I don't expect much to change. Stay away from them by all means. I'll be contacting my bank to see what can be done about this.

"Like others have said, I wish I had seen reviews about this company prior to purchase. I purchased a hard to find Playstation game for my daughter. I sent payment via Paypal as soon as placing the order. I haven't received my item. My invoice page on their website shows the order being cancelled. I have emailed them three times and they won't respond. They "conveniently" don't have a phone number on their website. I tried calling them from the number listed on my paypal invoice and it is all automated so you cannot physically speak to anyone. This company stays in business by stealing your money and not giving you the product. Whoever is running this company and treating people this way should be ashamed. How do you look yourself in the mirror everyday?"
