"My company is having a pirate themed party on the weekend of January 20 and I decided to order from Zoogster because they had all the items I wanted with my costume and expedited shipping. I was very satisfied with the order I placed with ZoogsterCostumes. I placed my order on Mondy January 9 2006, and received my order on Thursday January 12 2006. It was packaged great and all the items I ordered came as promised. I would definitely do business with them again."

"I have never had a problem with internet shopping before. After dealing with Zoogster (and its parent company SMI Sales), I will definitely only shop with well-known, big-named merchants from hereon.

This company is fraudulent and has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I hope that everyone who has had problems with them will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB will keep a file of complaints on this company. I can't believe a company like this is still in business.

"This was THE WORST buying experience I have ever had. I didn't expect much from a costume store, but I was charged for items I didn't receive and only received one of the four items I purchased. It took me almost a month for the "customer service" reps to reply to my four emails (I had to threaten reporting them to the Better Business Bureau) and when they did they were extremely rude and uninformed. I have NEVER left a negative comment about a store and I hope to never leave one again. I am going to try to avoid this by not shopping from Zoogster again. Horrible."

"DO NOT ORDER FROM ZOOGSTER COSTUMES OR SMI SALES!! If you do, beware of unbelievably poor customer service. We ordered a costume on October 10th and mistakenly ordered the wrong size. We sent an e-mail right away (within minutes) to notify Zoogster of the error with our email address and phone number. THEY DID NOT REPLY. We followed up and sent another email 2 days later. NO REPLY. We called and the phone was either busy or picked up an then hung up. We received a costume on 10/31 in the late afternoon. It was the wrong size- the order was not corrected. My wife called the company to explain the error and the supervisor told her that they did not get our e-mail because they were too busy to answer and their phone lines were overwhelmed with calls so "Tuff, you got what you originally ordered". Then this "supervisor" hung up on my wife.... This company is unprofessional, untrustworthy and not worth the trouble. DO NOT ORDER FROM ZOOGSTER OR SMI SALES PERIOD!!"

"Order placed for Halloween costumes on 20 September and I never received anything. I have sent 5 e-mails, 4 of which were undeliverable. I have called and never got in contact with anyone. I finally reported them to my credit card company for there action. Please report zoogster costumes to your credit card company if you did not receive what you ordered. I will never do business with anyone affiliated with SMI Sales."

"I wish I had found these ratings before I placed my order! I placed the order September 26, 2005, and like many others, I have not received the order nor been able to reach customer service. Over 5 e-mail requests have been ignored, and the phone either puts off a busy signal or rings to a busy signal. As others have indicated the company needs to be reported. If anyone has the information of who to contact, that would be appreciated. As said before, DO NOT BY FROM THIS COMPANY!"

"Ordered costumes on 10/12/2005 ... 4 or 5 e-mails later, and countless calls to a number that is evidently out of service and NOTHING. My kids Halloween is ruined. I hope this company is shut down and quickly. They are by far the most horrible online shopping experience I have ever had to deal with. "Bought two costumes and paid an extra $30 for overnight shipping. I received only ONE of the costumes, and the paint on the mask was scratched. Their 800 number keeps giving me "Your call did not go through," and nobody has responded to three emails I've sent to their so-called support address. Definitely filing a report with the BBB."

"I purchased a pet Halloween costume and paid for express shipping ($16.49). It arrived yesterday, and the costume was marked "S", but was 20" long, which should be "L." Also, the hat did not have the ribbons necessary to keep it on a dog's head. The product was defective.

Don't expect to get through to this company quickly. It takes HOURS. When I finally got hold of a person, he told me all sales were final, even for a defective product. He wouldn't even acknowledge my frustration. He just kept reading from his "all sales are final" script.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND ITS PARENT COMPANY, SMI SALES. You will only be disappointed and robbed of your hard-earned cash. How ironic is it that the costume I bought was Robin Hood?!

"I am very unhappy with this company. I ordered a costume from them on October 12, 2005 and have yet to receive it (October 25, 2005) I have made numberous attempts to contact them via email with no response. I called their 1-800 number and it was repeatedly busy. When I finally did get through I heard an automated message that said the wait time to speak with some was 1 hour. I called the next day at 9am, when the company opened and still received the same message. I have no costume for Halloween and I am out $71.98. I will never do business with them again."

"I ordered a halloween costume on October7th by telephone. I was ASSURED it would be delivered by October 20th. Nothing came. It is now Oct 25th and I have e-mailed three times now, and tryed to call numerous times. I get and answering machine that says the hold time is 1 hour, or I get a busy signal. I am VERY UNHAPPY and doubt that i will get the stuff I ordered never mind get it in time for halloween. "
