"Zappos may not always have the absolute cheapest prices, but when time is short and you aren't sure what size you need, Zappos offers lightening fast shipping and a hassle free, postage paid return option. You can't ask for more in a "Oh no! I need shoes and a clutch to complete this ensemble and there aren't any available locally that I like!" situation :) "

"Never had a bad experience dealing with Zappos in over 3 years now. Being a VIP Customer I always receive items usually within one business day of placing order. Never an issue returning items and I've returned as much as I've purchased.

Yeah their prices aren't always the lowest but their Shipping & Return Policy makes up for it.

"My experience with Zappos doesn't concern an order I placed, but one someone placed using my credit card info. Some way or another my visa information was stolen and the crook went on an online shopping spree. Zappos was the only company that held the order before charging my card because it was suspicious. They also attempted to contact me and my credit card issuer. I can't comment on their products or shipping speed, but I consider that excellent customer service."

"ok short and sweet. i decided to try zappos after reading some mild, low and even good reviews. i ordered a pair of shoes yesterday 8:30am. it is now 12:30pm my time and the order is still stuck on "we're on it!" yeah you're on it alright..on it to where i don't wanna even consider ordering anything further from you. granted i did do the free 3-5 day shipping, but geez at least i bought something from that site. it was definitely my first and LAST time that i will order anything from zappos."

"Great place to order shoes from. On time delivery, if not earlier in my case. I loved the shoes I purchased, but not the color. Returning it was very easy, and the processing time was fast as well. Definitely plan on buying the right color this time with using store credit. Zappos is just awesome and easy."

"Zappos return policy has changed considerably. It takes eons for the return shoes to get back to Zappos (one week), then they hold onto the product for a couple more days, then they tell you they have credited your credit card, but that it will take up to 10 days for the credit to appear. We all know that credits appear instantly anywhere else you shop. So, you may think you are getting free shipping, but they hold onto your money for a long time. I have several pairs of shoes I have returned, and am being held captive by Zappos for the credit. Won't use them again."

"Don't get "zapped" by zappos current con game. They will take your order cheerfully, guarantee and reassure you that you will be getting the order on time (in my case, gifts to give mom on her birthday). Then, once they get the order, you will not see it for who knows how long, even if they offered one day shipping. When you call to find out what's going on, they will act like they haven't got a clue, offer you a discount coupon and leave you still guessing when you will ever get your order. They will also send you an email saying "oops" we didn't send it out on time and like just hang in there, we will get it to you some day - when that is, is anybody's guess. There was a glitch in our new computer system. Oops! Oh well, better luck next time! Don't be fooled...dont get ZAPPED! Shop elsewhere - there are plenty of competitors and with better prices."

"evidently, zappos is currently having some major issues shipping and tracking orders. my in-stock order, with extra paid 3-day delivery is now on it's eleventh day and they still can't even give me a tracking number. to their credit, they given back the shipping charges, upgraded me to "vip" (one day
shipping at no charge) and two $25 discount coupons on future orders. what future orders?? why would I ever?? they blame it on a mysterious "system update" that has affected over 100,000 orders.

"Sept 29th - Made an order
Sept 30th - canceled order since the site upgrades may hold up the packages for too long, decide to order later down the road.
October 3rd - Reordered since a CS member told me the ugprades are almost done. Found out that Zappos is finally shipping out the packages but at a very slow rate.

October 4th:
So Zappos FINALLY shipped my last order at 12 midnight and it's on delivery today. I was shocked considering UPS does not deliver that late, but I guess since Zappos is so behind with thousands of orders they had to get them all out of the warehouse in KY asap. I'm currently waiting for my order to be delivered to me. I'm relieved that Zappos managed to ship out the package despite the so-called "WMS Project" being the cause of all the delays. However, even though I'm relieved that Zapops finally got their packages back up and running, I will NOT shop with them anymore unless I absolutely have to. I rather just suck up the 3-5 day shipping of other retailers because then I will know that my order is on its way to me and not holed up in some warehouse. I'm officially done with Zappos. It's a shame really because their CS is awesome! Too bad. Goodbye Zappos.

"I ordered my hunter rain boots on saturday at 2:39pm when i got home today Monday at 4:12 they were here waiting for me. How is this possible? and did i mention free shipping? wow zappos is truley amazing! also my return slip was inside with free shipping on my return if needed. but i love them and keeping them and ordering more shoes next paycheck.
