"I received my Zager ZAD80CE in July. It was an amazing product. Sound quality, Workmanship, and ease of playing. About mid October I noticed a strange tone on the # 1 & # 2 string only on the 12-13-14-15 frets. The note was off key and did not change tone across those frets. I called Zager and within minutes Henry, a staff member returned my call and told me it was due to a humidity problem. A followup text came from Dennis Zager Jr. with a link to a video on how to rehydrate my guitar. Followed the directions and after letting it set for three days retuned and played it with the same original excellent sound. Balanced and bright but without ever being harsh or twangy. The high end especially sings. It's already starting to open up a bit even after just a few weeks and I can't wait to hear it in a year. It is so inspiring to play both because of the tone and the responsiveness. And not only is fretting easy but also bends and slides. Which brings me to the workmanship; which is flawless. The wood is beautiful and the zipper on the back and abalone inlay add just the right touch of detail. My model is the ZAD50CE OM size acoustic electric, not their most expensive one. "For Acoustics, I own a Takamine Cut away a Taylor 114ce but wanted another acoustic with a wider ranger of sound. Deeper lows clearer mids and brighter high end. I did a lot of research and kept finding my way to ZAGER guitars. I was intrigued with handmade in USA, the custom designed sound board and bracing to provide less finger stress. I kept on reading listening to videos, listening to the sounds of the ZAGER guitars. Price point was excellent, but the SOUND!!
It was what I wanted deep warm low end, Clear crisp midrange and sharp sparking high ends. I decided on the ZAD900CE. The customer service is beyond excellent, it's stellar. My ZAD900CE finally came and I just can't put it down. It met all my expectations and exceeded my desires. "I am a 71 year old beginning guitar player and very pleased with the 50CE OM. I started with a well known brand, mid-beginner level guitar, but found it difficult to squeeze my fingers between strings or down on the frets without making dull "thud" sounds, so I stepped up to a Zager. Now I pretty consistently get clean ringing tones. But since I don't have much to compare to, I asked my very talented son and my guitar instructor to test the new instrument so I could better tell what the Zager is capable of. That was inspiring and both players gave me the thumbs up. But regardless of how well others play, it is fun as a beginner to make what more closely resembles music than dull thuds. And though there were 2021 supply chain delivery delays, Zager representatives have been cooperative and my experience has been positive. I have no hesitation recommending Zager Guitars."

"I received my ZAD50CE Solid African Mahogany Acoustic Electric just over one week ago and have really been enjoying it. I'll try to concisely summarize the features that make it fun to play.
First, I'm impressed the how easy it is to play with bends, even up to three or four semi-tones. I haven't been able to do that on my other acoustic.
Next, the extra space between strings makes soloing and most chords easier to play cleanly. I have short fingers, so it did take me a few days to get used to the extra spacing, but once I did, I started to appreciate it.
Another great feature is the built-in Fishman tuner and tone control. This guitar sounds fantastic plugged into an amp. And the tuner is a nice feature, not only to stay in tune, but also for anyone wanting to learn individual notes up and down the fret board (the tuner shows the note being played).
Finally, the guitar just looks great. I appreciate the craftsmanship, experience and careful thought that went into building this fun-to-play instrument.
