"I purchased 80gb Hitachi hard drive with external usb2.0/firewire 2.5" slim case. I was very disappointed with my purchase. I was very excited when I got the product, but it did not work very well. It worked okay with workstations, but did not work at all with three laptops that I tested it on. They told me to use the ps/2 connection for extra power and it still did not work. It ended up costing me about 70 dollars loss trying to save a few bucks. I was very disappointed with the service. I had to pay to ship it there twice and they didn't even bother fixing it when I sent it back to them the first time. I ended up asking for a refund and had to pay for restocking fee and shipping. I would have been better off buying the external hard drive from a local store so that I could test it and make sure that it works. My brother purchased one and it works fine with laptop and desktops without the need of extra power from ps/2 connection. I'm writing this review because I was very disappointed with the service and the product and maybe someone else can learn from it.
