Customer service was good at times, they would reply to my emails within an hour and other times it would take a week. "I've dealt with a number of mod chip suppliers over the years and xbox-modchips/americanxboxmodchips is by FAR the best.
I've read all the negative reviews recently posted and I understand where people are coming from; its unacceptable to not receive an e-mail in 72 hours and so on, but there have been extenuating circumstances people are unaware of--e-mail server failures, spam attacks, customs delays, etc.
Additionally, they have had to deal with some thieving installers who thought it'd be fun to receive consoles and not ship them back out.
These situations have been taken care of and you should have no reservations about ordering from them now or in the future.
I'm actually now doing installs for them, so if you want to be sure your premod/ship in goes flawlessly you can always ask for YourModSource.
Give them a chance, you wont be disappointed.

4/13/07 Placed Order for an item that says in stock on their website. I received an e-mail with order number that that it is being processed.
4/17/07 Recieved e-mail that payment has been processed. Website says orders usually received in 2-10 Days.
~5/3/07 Called and left message asking about order\tracking number. I also submitted a ticket asking for status. I got an e-mail back from Jan saying she will look into. Ticket was then closed
5/11/07 I have received no E-mail response and no phone call. It's been almost a month and I have no product or tracking number. My credit card was charged 3 weeks ago. They should not charge the CC until they ship the product. I have called and left message to cancel order and sent e-mails also.

"I wish I read this before I ordered. I seriously doubt I'm gonna get anything anytime soon. The funny thing is I chose phone order and they were so quick to call me, less than a minute, but for the past two weeks I've been trying to call them, but they never pick up and it's they're answering machine all the time. They never respond to their emails. They lie on there dates. 2-10 days to mod and ship the console. OMG By the end of April if I don't get anything. It's now been thirty days, 3 emails and 2 phone calls and no answers what so ever thus far. The $400 dollars sure came off my card quick, you'd think someone wouldn't want to lose that kind of business. Going to turn it over to the credit card company's fraud section on Tuesday because there has been nothing thus far to let me know this is anything other than a scam."
