"Honestly the only reason I purchased from them was because everywhere else was sold out. They are by no means cheaper and the $300 shipping fee is absolutely outrageous. But due to COVID I didn’t have a lot of options and I promised my kids a new swingset, being stuck in the house I also felt they deserved it.

Their customer service is a joke. Their estimated shipping is just that estimated. I made my purchase 10 minutes before their “cutoff” for same day shipping but they said it didn’t count and shipped it the next day. They’re very unhelpful and actually unresponsive, which is the benefit of paying with PayPal so if they screw you over PayPal has you covered. I had to contact the delivery company myself because they refused to be of any help even though they sent an email with specific instructions to go over everything with the driver to be sure you had the amount of boxes you were supposed to or you were responsible for replacement and even more shipping costs.
If they fail to ship you something they’re responsible or the swingset company will normally send it out free of charge.

Overall, I only purchased from here because I was in a bind and with one of my kids birthdays coming up I felt this was deserved now instead of waiting months later. I will never do business with them again though. "

"We ordered a commercial set through this company and wish we had never done so. From start to finish the sales staff misled us and were not communicative when we emailed questions back. We were told the order would take up to 8 weeks to produce so we set our timeline for construction around that when we ordered. Then, more than a month into the process we were told production for sets like ours take more than 10 weeks to produce (it ended up taking more than 12 weeks to get to us after we ordered and the company repeatedly ignored our update requests). The company clearly knew that production times were always supposed to be 10 weeks but just lied to us until it was too late for us to order from somewhere else.
And make no mistake about it, this stuff is just cheap Chinese manufactured parts. We asked the sales department on via both phone and email for information on the manufacturer but they just told us the company name and that it was located in Indiana. When all the pieces arrived they had stickers on them in Chinese with a Chinese company name in addition to the manufacturer name we were given on the parts. The steel pieces are significantly lighter / lower quality than those on a small set we also have from Superior and I'm certain this will require more maintenance and faster replacement over the years.
To top it all off, we were told to inventory immediately on arrival and let them know if anything was missing but they only sent a parts list for part of the shipment. How we were supposed to figure out what we needed was beyond me but we tried and decided all the parts were likely there. Then, we noticed as we started construction a few weeks later that a part was broken as we couldn't see it wasn't working right until we got the plastic wrap off. Instead of even trying to help, we were just told that we had to pay full RETAIL value for parts replacement (even though they had only told us to let them know if things were missing in the original shipments and nothing was mentioned about broken). Bottom line - you get what you pay for so tread very carefully with this very, very shady firm. "

"We ordered the Chateau Deluxe Cedar Wood swingset for Christmas from another store and I got a notification one week before Christmas that due to the weather, it would not be delivered until January 6th!! I was so upset as this was Santa’s big gift to our boys. I called willygoat and they had it in stock and shipped it the next day! Their costumer service was extremely helpful nd we actually were able to get a nicer version of the swingset for a lesser price. I would highly recommend willygoat to anyone! I was skeptical after some of the negative reviews, but they truly were a Godsend and helped our boys have a magical Christmas! If you have any doubt, just call the very friendly costumer service agents and they will help you with all your needs. I give them an A+ rating!!!!

"I was very hesitant about ordering from WillyGoat.com because of all the mixed reviews. I called the company and they guaranteed my order would ship the next day. (Shipping was my concern bc of the bad reviews). I ordered our gorilla chateau playset on Friday and it was delivered the following Thursday. Ordering from WillyGoat and paying for the shipping STILL saved us $400!!! I’m very pleased! My husband put the swing set together by himself in a weeks time (worked on it a few hours a day). All the pieces were there and nothing was damaged. I’m very happy I took the chance and ordered! "

"Despite the bad reviews, we took a chance on Willygoat. The price was much cheaper for the Gorilla Treasure Trove and most importantly for us, they supposedly could deliver immediately whereas other sites had anywhere from a 5-7 or 7-12 week delay. I recommend that you PICK UP THE PHONE and talk to them before you place your order! Develop a relationship! Our set was delivered within a week (and we are in the country) and except for a couple of scratches on the slide which were easily smoothed, in perfect condition. As we are on a sloping lot, we ordered levelers which were sent immediately. We decided to add the 7' slide as an afterthought and it was also delivered promptly. Phone calls and further emails were all friendly. We are very happy grandparents of four very happy grandkids!!"

"Horrible customer service! This is a great example why the cheapest price is necessarily not the best. First off they lost our playground set. How a huge playground set can get lost is baffling to me. When we still didn't get the call to arrange delivery more than a week after we bought the playset I called to inquire and they said it was lost. They said a new one will ship out. When I requested expediated shipping they said I would have to pay for it because it wasn't their fault. Apparently things getting lost happens all the time and it wasn't their responsibility it was the shipping company's responsibility. It wasn't until I called back to cancel my order did they say they shipped it out that day free of charge.

We contracted professional installers to build playground set this weekend. They spent the whole day in the sun trying to build playground with instruction manual provided to us when playground was delivered. The pieces were not coinciding with pieces from instruction. After a days work wasted we did research and concluded that they provided the wrong manual for a different playground set! Since it was the weekend willigoat was closed. We had to search online for correct manual and go to staples to print it out and ended up spending another $20 since manual was over 100 pages. When we called today they again said not their fault and that this kind of mistake happen all over the time and there is nothing they can do or will do to compensate except for send us the right manual. So we ended up spending more money paying installer for the days worth of work and time wasted with the wrong manual.

I definitely should of gone with a well known company rather than this no name company. A company that is not accountable for anything. A company where the moto is "mistakes happen all the time and none of it is our responsibility." Definitely not worthy the price since due to all the mistakes we ended up spending more money than we would of if we went with another company."

"I was shopping for a Gorilla swingset for my kids and came across Willygoat.com. Their price, including shipping, was about $600 less than the next cheapest one I could find. Additionally, the next cheapest place did not stock the set and had a disclaimer on their website that Gorilla is backed up and all sets would ship in 4 to 6 weeks. I looked at some reviews for Willygoat and saw quite a few bad ones, from sets delivered in terrible condition to sets saying they ship immediately only to later find out they were not actually in stock.

If you fill out an order form online and never complete it, in a day or two they send you an email offering some money off (in my case it was $80) if you call within two days and place an order. I emailed and called to verify the set I wanted was indeed in stock and was assured it was in stock. So I placed the order on a Thursday afternoon. I received the tracking number 2 hours later and it was in my garage the next Wednesday. I inventoried all the parts and nothing was missing or damaged. I am very glad I went with Willygoat... I saved quite a bit of money and my kids will be enjoying their play set before it would have even shipped with another company. "

"My parents ordered a swing set for my daughters for their birthdays. The one that arrived was completely rotted, and every bit of wood was unacceptable. The woman with whom I spoke, Gail, informed me that she would send a tracking number as soon as the replacement parts shipped. She didn't. To my surprise, the shipping company called to schedule a delivery, and I reached out to Gail asking her to resolve the issue of a garage full of rotting wood. She said there was nothing she could do and to dispose of it in any way I liked. She even suggested that I burn (!) the TREATED wood, or cut it up and put bits of it in the trash every week. (Really!?) She wouldn't give me her last name or the name of her superior. When I refused shipment and asked her to refund the money and cancel the order, she said that I would have to pay return shipping for a completely defective product.
Do yourself a favor, and buy from a company who puts customer satisfaction at the top of their list. I have no idea how they run a business this way. And, Gail should be fired. "
