"It was my first installation of that type and I was anxious. One of the plugs was very tight and I was reluctant to force it. The customer service was just right. They were responsive, patient, and never talked down to me. They realize their customers have a wide range of electronic component experience. Big thumbs up. "

"When my 750 GB TiVo crashed from a lightning strike, the "guys with the WeaKnees" -- stepped up and did ALL the right things to fix the situation as quickly as possible. And, rather than chance a half measure, they replaced the whole unit, not just the hard drive.

Their personnel were generous with their time,
responded quickly to all my e-mails, and were most expeditious in their service -- I had my TiVo back in its place in less than a week. and that's all anybody can ask for in any customer service
situation.

Oh yeah, and... now I've got a batter-back up UPS. Duh.

"Thrilled with everything...quick to ship; arrived on time; product and instructions were exactly as promised. I swapped out the drives in about 10 minutes; had the TiVo up and running again (recording) in less than 60 minutes including the guided setup. I would recommend this to anyone! What they promise is what they deliver, period. My only regret is that I didn't buy a bigger drive!!!"

"Purchasing the replacement hard drive and cooling fan from this company was as painless as any online purchase I have ever made. The information provided on their website easily directs one to the various options available and clearly explains the various attributes of each. The order, including tools to make the disassembly/reassembly, was shipped promptly and arrived ahead of schedule. Replacement of the hard drive was accomplished in under 15 minutes mainly due to the very clear and understandable instructions provided with the order. When it was determined that I had ordered the wrong cooling fan, customer service was very courteous and helpful in assisting me to make the exchange for the proper fan. Everything works exactly as they said it would. This was a great experience all around and I would highly recommend this company to anyone!"

"I had a wonderful experience with weaKnees.com. I ordered a replacement drive for my Hughes DirecTV TiVo unit that had begun to fail. After self-diagnosing the issue, I called DirecTV to confirm my suspicions. At the suggestion of the DirecTV customer rep, I looked for a replacement drive on the internet. Google directed me towards weaKnees.com and my first impression was that I had stumbled upon a quality company. Their FAQ pages answered many of my questions so it was easy to make up my mind regarding what I needed to purchase. My purchase and installation experience has proven my initial feelings were correct. I ordered a 160GB replacement drive for my SD-DVR120, which yields 140ish hours of recording time. I received my order via UPS overnight the next day, and within about 20 minutes, I had removed the old drive, installed the new drive per the replacement instructions provided with the package. My TiVo started up just like it was factory fresh. After breezing through the on-screen set-up (standard with TiVo), I was recording TV just as I had been doing a day before. BRILLIANT SERVICE... FRIENDLY PHONE REP... SPEEDY DELIVERY... QUALITY PRODUCT. 11 out of 10!! Thanks for doing business the way I do business!"

"I had a wonderful shopping experience with WeaKnees.com. My DirecTV TiVo seized up and was replaced with DirecTV's own DVR, not TiVo related. I was so unhappy with this unit that I started investigating solutions with TiVo and was on the verge of switching back to cable so I could have a real TiVo DVR, when that saleswoman told me to look online for help. I found WeaKnees and read their troubleshooting section, then called for diagnosis and was given wonderful advice. I received my replacement hard drive yesterday, installed it today and am back in business with satellite TV and TiVo. I couldn't be more pleased with this company and their help."

"Just wanted to tell you how pleased I was in your company. I used your Troubleshooting page to learn I had a bad Power Supply for a TCD140060. I ordered and received the part 3 days. Yes, I had Weakness and Dry Mouth to do it myself, however, your directions and pictures were perfect. Changed the Power Supply out in 20 minutes. My wife thinks I am a electronic expert.

"I am very pleased with weaKnees. My DirecTV HD TiVo died. DirecTV tried to bully me into getting a leased DVR (non-TiVo) as a replacement for my owned TiVo. I think not. WeaKnees responded to my inquiry almost immediately. My order went through just as quickly, and was immediately shipped. Insturctions were very easy to follow. I was back up and running in no time."
