"Bought 2 chairs. Delivered as requested and turned up damaged. Contacted “Amy” to report the damage, no reply to 2 emails, so raised a section 75 chargeback through Mastercard. Mastercard refunded in full, the Amy sends me an email 2 months later saying they will collect the chairs and I need to respond within 48hrs or they’ll take me to court. Following a lot of back and forth they agreed to a refund of 100 and that I should cancel my chargeback. This is not how chargeback works and they need to read up on this. The merchant contacts Mastercard and deals with them not the consumer. If a company cannot even operate simple card merchant rules then they can’t be trusted. Both chairs returned and I got my money back but only because I paid with a credit card. Terrible company"
