"This company never responded to my e-mails. It ruined a birthday because we expected the item since it said delivered within 24 hours and it never showed up. I have been trying to call and e-mail this company for over a week and no luck. I am pretty sure they are no longer in business but now I just don't know how to get a refund since they are holding my money."

"DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! One of the worst shopping experiences I have had with an on-line retailer. I placed an order for just one product which they said was "in stock with next day delivery". I didn't receive a confirmation e-mail for 2-3 days. After hearing nothing from them for another 10 days, I went to their website to check the order status. The item had a fed-x tracking number and expected delivery date. Two days after the expected delivery date came and went, I got back on-line to find that the delivery date was now blank. I sent two e-mails and didn't hear back from them for another two days. They told me the order "was processed" but they couldn't give me an ETA. I wrote to them again asking for at least an expected ship date. Then they sent me a curt e-mail just saying "this order has been cancelled". UNBELIVABLE!!! I called them once again and was told the item was on back order without any ETA so they just cancelled my order without even talking with me about it first. I did another web search to find this item and was immediately brought to their website again. I couldn't believe it when the item was still listed as avaiable and ready for next day shipment! I then called them once again and asked to speak to a manager to tell them they needed to update their website so another customer doesn't have to go through the aggravation and waste valuable time as I had. I guess I shouldn't have been shocked, but I was, when I was told there was "no management on sight to take my call" and that I would "probably get a call from the manager, Ann, but not for at least 24 hours. It was definitely not worth the aggravation dealing with this clueless company for the few dollars I was going to save. SHOP ANY PLACE BUT HERE!!!"

"Ordered my items through SHOP.com, got confirmation from SHOP.com right away, also from the other merchants I purchased from through SHOP.com at the same time. Got confirmation from EVERYONE EXCEPT VITADIGEST. Vitadigest never even acknowledged me order until 12/19/2008, then stating that that was the date I placed the order. On the upside they also did not charge me for my order until the last week in December when they finally got aroud to sending my merchndise. The shipping lable states it was shipped the 19th of December. I did not receive my order until 12/30/2008. I will not order from Vitadigest again."

I ordered items on nov 18th, they said items would ship next day. Items were not shipped had to call back on nov 23rd and they said items would ship same day. I called back nov 25th they said same thing. I again called dec 1st, They said same. I cancelled order hope they refund my card. Save yourself the nightmare and dont deal with this company.

" I ordered a costume for Halloween and the confirmation e-mail and the faq about shipping on their website said my order would be shipped out within 24 hours and I would get an e-mail with my tracking order number. 24+ hours later I didn't get a tracking order number, so I called and e-mailed them about it. First of all I have called their number several times and keep getting the voicemail or the phone ringing endlessly. Second of all they finally e-mailed me and said:
"Hi, When you placed the order online, the item's page said In Stock: Ships in 4 to 5 business days. There is processing time for all costumes. VitaDigest."
I e-mailed them back right away and told them that the confirmation e-mail said otherwise (Specifically it said: ""Your purchase will be shipped within 24 hours...."), and if my order wasn't going to be sent in time for Halloween they needed to cancel it. So far I haven't gotten any response back. If costumes take longer to ship, they should a)mention that on their faq and b)mention that on my confirmation. Besides, considering the information on their website and e-mail one could easily interpret the "in 4 to 5 business days" description on the item page as meaning them shipping the item out in 24 hours which is IN 4 to 5 business days--not 4 to 5 business days superseding claims to shipping within 24 hours.
Other costume websites I visited made it very clear that their items would arrive on time for Halloween, but I opted to use Vitadigest because the item was a bit cheaper. I hope I don't end up regretting this decision and end up having to order the item from another website and pay extra for shipping, just because Vitadigest apparently has no concern for their customers trying to get their Halloween orders on time.

"Vitadigest sent the wrong item. It was sent later than they anticipated. The flat rate shipping was excessive for small purchases. First and last time purchaser. Never extended themselves to rectify my problem. I guess they don't care about returning customers."

"I have never had an order take so long to arrive after I ordered it, a little over two weeks. Once it did arrive, it was only part of the order with no hint as to why. After several e-mails with no response, I was informed that although they sent me a confirmation email saying they sent all of my order, that many items were out of stock so they sent what they had. I was charged more on shipping(smaller orders cost more on shipping), and I requested only that they send the items that weren't in stock when they arrived without charging the higher shipping cost again. It has been almost two months and no one has responded to multiple emails. On the plus side, the items I did receive are great products. Jason Natual makes some great stuff, but I would suggest buying it elsewhere!"

"Perhaps the worst online customer service of any website I've experienced. First, they sent me the wrong product. Then, they refused to refund the purchase. As a compromise, I offered to exchange it for the item I initially purchased. They refused again. I have sine filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Their operation is a sham. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO SPEND YOUR MONEY WITH ANOTHER RETAILER WHO WILL TREAT YOUR BUSINESS WITH COURTESY AND APPROPRIATE CUSTOMER SERVICE."

"POOR customer service - they USED to have their act together. Order never shipped - had to make more than one call to find out it was back-ordered, no apology. A week later, round 2, more of the same - never again. You lost a customer. Still no product, no offer for expedited shipping... they stink"

"My recent, and only, experience of ordering from Vitadigest was extremely uncomfortable and inconvenient. First, I wrote ahead of tme explaining that I would be coming from overseas and wanted my order delivered to the address I would be staying at in Chicago, and in order for it to arrive during a certain week, I said I would place my order closer to the time of my departure from the U.K., also that I wanted to use my partner's credit card (he is Dutch). I was sent an "authorization form" and told to fill it out and fax it back along with my partner's passport and copies of the front and back of his credit card. I did all this, then wrote to say I had just done so, and was told I should have done this AFTER placing the order, but I had not been told this earlier. Two weeks later I placed the order online and was sent a confirmation. This was 3 days before I was to leave the U.K., and I thought that this was an end to the matter. On the morning I was to leave, I received an email saying because my order was so large, it would not be possible after all to use my partner's card, that a U.S. domestic card had to be used. I wrote back to say I was on the point of leaving for my plane and would phone when I arrived in the U.S., which I did. I was then faxed another authorization form, which I faxed back with my own American passport and copies of my American credit card. I phoned to ascertain whether the fax had arrived, and was told "the fax machine is in an office which is now locked, so we don't know", but was promised that the woman I was talking to (Margaret) would follow this up for me later that day (a Friday) or on Monday, and see that my order went through. What followed was a long series of phone calls to Customer Services over the next two weeks (!), sometimes speaking to Margaret and sometimes to Jackie, getting different information from each, being promised I would receive a call back to confirm whether my order was authorized to be shipped (because now I was being told that it was such a large order they were uncertain about shipping it to me in Chicago when the billing address for my American credit card was in the U.K.--well, of course it is, I LIVE in the U.K.!) There seemed to be a lot of confusion, in spite of the fact that I had included, as I was asked to on the authorization form, the phone number for the credit union through which I have this credit card, and anyone from Vitadigest could at any moment have phoned them to verify that I have been a customer of that credit union for about 25 years. Finally, I asked to speak to the Manager, Amy, who kept me on hold for a long time, but came back and said she was authorizing the order to be shipped. This was the second Friday afternoon after my arrival in the U.S., so it was unlikely the package would go out until the Monday. I phoned on Tuesday and was told it had been shipped on Monday but that "the tracking number has not yet been put into the system" and that they would phone me when it had.
I received a call on the Wednesday to say that the package had NOT YET gone out and that there was confusion as to where it should be sent. I had indeed been staying at two different places in Chicago, both were addresses which Vitadigest was in possession of. So I clarified where I would be the next week (the earliest possible time that Fedex would be delivering this package), and was told it would be sent out later that day. I observed to them at that point that as I was leaving the U.S. at the end of the next week, if the package was not sent immediately, it would probably not arrive in time for me to take it back to the U.K. with me! It did, finally, arrive the following Tuesday, the 5th of August, 3 weeks after I placed the order over the internet. And, they had used my partner's credit card after all! I have never done business before with a company in which there was so much confusion and miscommunication. This was a very stressful process for me, during a time when I was on vacation and did not want to have to worry about all of this admin. and chasing up my order. I had complied with everything the company had asked of me, and I found this process infuriating and draining. Had Vitadigest not had such good prices for several things which I had wanted to stock up on to take back to the U.K. with me, I would never have continued to pursue this order.

"the order was placed 0n the 16th July 2008 and according to the Fedex tracking no.on the date,the parcel should have been delivered on July 21st 2008..On Tuesday 22nd July 2008 the tracking at Fedex stated the parcel was picked up on the 21st..we havegone on Vacation this 24th July 2008,So the parcel will be delivered to an empty house..This is VERY BAD SERVICE 8 days to deliver..If the parcel is still on the front veranda ..we will send it back to Vitadigest Very Dissapointed as I wanted to use the suplements on vacation......"

"One of the WORST on-line shopping experiences ever for me. Ordering was fairly easy, but I never received the package (a FedEx driver I flagged down a few days after the supposed delivery told me that he delivered it across the street, but the neighbor claims they never saw the package), therefore no delivery speed or order accuracy for me. A customer service rep at VitaDigest decided to argue with me as opposed to help, saying that no signature was required, so no refund OR reshipment of the order will occur, so I'm out over $189. FedEx was just as bad, if not worse. Sub-zero satisfaction for both from me. I will never order from them again, and will avoid FedEx for any delivery needs.
