So beautiful. After reading the "do's and donts" on the care of my new ring, ( having had a short back ground in gemology" ) I understand completely.
I have contacted a dear friend of mine who is a trained gemologist. I showed her my new ring. She too LOVES it. What we are hoping, is she is going to take the ring, and duplicate it in gold metal, and diamonds. Since I love the ring so, and I wish not to ever take it off, being made of silver, everyday wearing will not be good for such a work of art. So by duplicating it in gold and diamonds, I can wear it all the time.! It is now my "engagement ring"! 14 years late, but better late than never!

When the ring arrived, there was a tag on the ring that said 'keep tag on for returns and exchanges'. That got me thinking, if the ring happened to be the wrong size, are you meant to keep the tag on while presenting the ring to your significant other, assuming that's how you choose to do it?
