"Sfx1500 skimmer sent a sfx1000 with the sfx1500 label instead. Pump motor missing impeller. Polygroup ended up replacing the motor."

scamming disabled people on multiple levels, how low!

"i ordered something they claimed was an overbed desk, which i need due to my disability, but the item they sent is not an overbed desk at all and is only a standing desk which is the opposite of what i need. since they charged me for a product i did not receive and sent me an unrelated product that i didn't order (the exact opposite of what i ordered, actually), i'm legally entitled to a refund without return. in this case i told them i'd be happy to have it picked up anyway since it's wasting space, but i was informed by the target representatives that they would not provide me reasonable accommodation for my disability and pick up this item, and they said the contracted company that sold the product through their site, speedtail, would also not do so. even though i told them i could not return it without assistance such as pickup from a carrier (which is pretty common now rather than making people return things in store due to covid), and they refused to provide such reasonable accommodation, they also still refused to refund it without return even though I'm legally entitled to a refund without return since the item i ordered is not the one i received. they said it was up to the speedtail to process such a refund, but they refused to call the company on my behalf to arrange anything. then when i contacted VMInnovations/speedtail they claimed that they needed to talk to a target representative but also claimed they "could not" call target themselves because they "had no outbound phone line" (concerning for other reasons too, like these workers' safety, please investigate or forward to proper company) and i would have to have target call them. i repeatedly told them that i already asked target to call them but they refused. so basically these 2 companies are in a scam together to defraud disabled people in particular and also not provide reasonable accommodation to them as per ADA requirements nor to follow FTC laws."

Terrible Customer Service

"I have been trying to get an acceptable resolution for a faulty gaming chair since 8/23 and each time I call, it's as if it's a different agent: they tell me I will get a partial refund to buy the part myself, the chair is out of warranty, I need to contact the original supplier--and now, that the chair IS in warranty but I need to return it at my expense. No agents are on the same page and VM Innovations is not willing to work with the customer to ensure smooth customer service. I will just avoid this company completely in the future."

Great customer service!

"I've noticed a ton of negative reviews on this company, so I wanted to share my positive experience. I have bought items from them on multiple occasions and have never had a problem. Recently, I bought a large refurbished tool. It came in looking brand new, but arrived missing a vital part. I quickly called the customer service number. I almost immediately got a real person on the line. The rep was very nice and friendly. He quickly offered to send out the missing part, but soon realized that it was not in stock. He then gave me two options: I could return everything for a full refund or he could give me a partial refund so that I could purchase the part elsewhere. After a quick discussion on what it would cost me to buy the part somewhere else, we agreed on a refund amount. The call from start to finish only lasted a few minutes. The refund was credited back to my credit card within two days. Overall, I have been very pleased with this company's products and customer service."

Awful, stole $700 from me.

"I tried these guys to purchase a hot tub and found that they had one in stock that wasn’t available on Amazon. So far, they denied my order 6 times without explanation, offered to switch me to an alternative model with the excuse of CA law preventing my original purchase, took my money, gave no receipt, and are now avoiding giving a refund. After 3 months of pestering them, I’m more and more sure I’ll never see the money again."

Scam

"I’ve had some bad experiences online but this vendor takes the cake. I needed to return an item, so they sent me a return label. They received an item but never refunded the money. Chatted with them and they agreed to refund. I have an email that says they will send the money. Never did get the refund."

Don’t buy a pool from them

"I bought a pool in March to prepare for the summer before they would sell out. I got the pool out in June and realized after filling it up that they sent a 10-ft pool instead of the more expensive 12-ft pool I bought. The box and model number says it’s 12-ft but it is in fact a 10-ft pool. They teased me to remedy the situation with a replacement or substantial refund but then stated I was out of luck because it had been more than 30 days.

So, unless you’re putting your pool out in the late Winter, don’t buy a pool from them.

HORRIBLE. Absolutely, Positively, HORRIBLE.

"It's funny, if you simply Google reviews for VM Innovations, across any review site, this company has a 1 Star rating. A 1 star rating out of almost 10,000 reviews from ONE SINGLE REVIEW SITE?! It actually takes A LOT of effort to **** that many people off! A company that allows thousands of unhappy, dissatisfied customers and continues to operate in the same fashion just tells you one very obvious fact - this is NOT a customer-driven company, not by a large margin. The company even proves how terrible their attitude is in their replies on this very site - they answer back with very inconsiderate, condescending responses. They don't honestly care that they got your order wrong, falsely advertised, sent you a broken item, etc. and they certainly aren't remotely interested in resolving any of these issues. Seriously, read their responses for yourself - the one thing they consistently do well is avoid accountability. Instead, they just shift the burden onto the customer or the blame onto anyone else. Plain and simple, they make mistakes at their customer's expense. It's very discouraging to see a company still in business while it treats the very people that keep it alive so poorly. I ordered a $1000 pool ( that was only $300 last summer, mind you) but wasn't sent the complete order and since I didn't set the pool up right away, I had no idea everything wasn't in the box. Now that I'm outside of my 30 day window, they can no longer send me the rest of my order. It's an easy fix but they refuse - because they could care less. It's not an unreasonable expectation that when a person pays $1000 for something, that they get their whole order - not just part of it. Please do yourself a favor and stay away."

Customer Service is lacking

"Ordered 4 plastic gas cans and the box was almost double the size of the product with no filler. The box was damaged from the rain and not usable. The jugs were plastic and were fine, but the box was useless, so I threw it out. I decided to return. I can't find a box big enough to fit all 4 gas cans. I found 2 boxes, one that holds 1 gas can and the other that would hold 3. I contacted the VMInnovations and they refuse to send an additional label or box. They want me to pay return shipping?"

Terrible service

"I ordered an item which was to suppose to be at my door 2 days later it never came I called Wal-Mart who then called the company now clearly it states in FedEx tracking the package was never received from the after several calls emails they still saying it's FedEx fault and not there's when clearly it states the package was never received from the company then I received a email from the company stating wait 2 more days Wal-Mart need not to do business with this company if it can't fulfill customers needs and also false advertisement on their scheduled delivery"

Horrible company

"HORRIBLE seller. ZERO stars. Sells on walmart marketplace. After over two weeks of waiting, and the package being lost in shipping (twice!), I still do not have the product, and the seller REFUSES to credit my purchase. Horrible seller, lacks acceptable customer service, I would never do business with them again."

They sent the wrong, inferior product and refuse to take it back and send me the right product

"I ordered an automated chess set for my 9-year-old son, who has an illness and doesn't like to play chess with real people, but he loves playing a computer. This was his big Christmas present and I bought him the best version, called "Grand," in mid-November, then I put the box in the closet to hide from him. If I had read the reviews of this seller beforehand, I would have very carefully looked at the box--but I did not. They sent me the inferior version of the chess set that generally goes for around $50 less than the one I paid for. When we opened the set after Christmas I discovered that we were sent the inferior version; so this is not a defective product issue or a shipping issue--this company sent the wrong product. A reputable company would own up to this and take back the wrong product and either refund me or send me the one I actually ordered, but when I "contact" customer service all I get is an automated response that I am outside the 30-day return window. "

Unscrupulous price gouging

"Walmart nor Intex have any inflatable pools or hottubs in stock. Vm express seems to have an unlimited supply but with double,triple the price sometimes even more of a mark up above retail price. Just one example of several items they have been able to do this with. I wish I could include screenshots of these unbelievable price gouging tactics but you can look for yourself. We as consumers have price protection in stores but online it seems a new frontier for crooks and scammers. I do believe the lawsuits are coming as many people are getting wise. There's almost 10k one star ratings on this site for this abusive practice on in demand items. I thought this was racketeering and illegal. I'm just a normal consumer who sees a pool at Walmart retail price 300$ but sold out then see it on walmart.com sold by VM express for 1800$$$ that's not price gouging. Shameless and totally taking advantage on people already struggling and suffering through a pandemic stuck at home. It makes me sick. Hopefully we will get protection soon from companies like this. Very odd there are So many complaints here but Walmart and Amazon have amazing reviews for vm express. Something fishy is going on. "
