"i had put in a bid for a heat surge fireplace when i won the bid i was very happy. my fireplace came four days later brand new in the box. the only problem was that it did not work on high heat. i emailed total vac about the problem and within a week they sent me another new fireplace that works perfect. they also arranged for free pickup of the broken one. total vac handled my return and shipped out my new one in an extremly fast manner. thank you total vac i give you a ten."

"Well I'll jump on the bandwagon on the poor company this is. I ordered a part (which i just got yesterday, I don't even know if it's the right part yet) I ordered it on the 13th It came on the 1st. When I emailed them they told me they shipped it to the wrong adress and they tried to contact me (not!). Three weeks for a vacum cleaner part and I paid for rush shipping!! LOL... finally I got them to credit me my shipping charges back. I'll NEVER buy from them again."

"I was a return customer to Totalvac and I'm sorry I did. I ordered a specific blender blade and they, after weeks passed, sent what they called a superior one. It was not the same type and after going through their return system, they refunded only the cost of the blade. I finally contacted the Better Business Bureau and they managed to get their shipping cost refunded to me but not the shipping cost I incured sending it back. Their correspondence via the BBB was quite arrogant and did not offered to send the blade I ordered, I will not buy from them again."

"This was a horrible place to business with. I waited almost 4 weeks to receive my products and when I did they had switched out cheap replacements for the expensive name brand ones I purchased. I filed a claim with Paypal, but they never responded to Paypal inquiries. I even mailed product back and I had to wait and wait and wait for a refund (which was given by Paypal because totalvac never responded to even one Paypal inquiry. HORRIBLE COMPANY. DISHONEST THIEVES."

"I ordered a Braun razor battery, TotalVac P/N 10360-1. This is clearly advertised on their web page as having 2300 maH capacity. Imagine my surprise when the battery received (after a 2-week delay) is only 2000 maH capacity! I consider this false advertising - if I had known what they were really selling, I would have chosen another vendor!!"

"I ordered a replacement hose for an Electrolux vacuum cleaner. From their website, it appeared that the hose would fit, but when it arrived, it has a totally different attachment and will not fit. The problem is the return process. They do not provide any contact information n their web site or the invoice that ships with the product. You have to go to their web site and fill out an on-line form, then wait for them to contact you by e-mail. So far I've not heard back from them. You have no other option but to wait for them as there is no contact phone number or e-mail address provided."

"There is a lack of customer service. You may pay for an item and expect it to ship then after weeks it has not arrived. Customer service will not contact you to tell you the item is out of stock.
When you call customer service you never speak to a live person. Buyer beware! I am going to request to have my money refunded and lets see how that goes

"I ordered a part 6 weeks ago. Each time I contacted them I was told that the part was on back order. That was a lie. Today I finally called SEBO, the vacuum manufacturer, and was told that there was no back orders for the part that I needed. The truth was that SEBO was no longer doing business with TotalVac (Total Vac, Totalvac.com). I called some local Los Angeles repair companies and asked if they were familiar with TotalVac. They were and they also will not do business with Totalvac.com. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

What the heck were their plans? Never tell me that they could not get the part? Try for a year to get back in the good graces of SEBO, then send my part. How inconsiderate and selfish to leave me hanging. DO they NOT think that I would eventually call SEBO and then write this kind of review?

THE VOICELESS HAVE A VOICE !! Thank God for the Internet. Do not let companies get away with poor treatment of customer. If you have a problem, go on sites like this, Yelp, Tripadvisor, Angies List etc and tell the world. Take a few minutes to write a good, honest review. Copy it and paste it to as many sites as you can. The way that I fould this review site was simple. I Googled Total Vac Review. I will be adding this review to other sites. In a few weeks and search will show my reviews.

"The suction tube and bags arrived in good time and undamaged. Everything fit/worked. Dissatisfied because no credit given to my "Extrabux" account. Never got an email with a receipt. Did receive confirmation email that products shipped. Even the email requesting me complete this survey did not have the invoice number. It did have an empty blank beside where the invoice number and date should go. Either very sloppy or something more sinister is going on here. Decent products, fast shipping, but one day your order will never show up and no one will be around to tell you why."
