"Kept me on the hook for weeks
They changed the ship date three times. I finally got fed up and cancelled my order. After receiving CONFIRMATION my order was cancelled they still shipped one of the items. They said it shipped before it was cancelled. But I got confirmation of the cancellation FIVE DAYS before they shipped. I was not allowed to refuse shipment as it could jeopardize a refund. It took two weeks to finally get a return authorization. Took it to fedex the next day, and they had promised immediate processing of refund once the label was scanned. Days later I had to yet again check. Was told 1-2 days and would receive notice the refund was processing. It has been three business days and continued silence."

Ordered a tonneau cover and bed mat on March 08, 2022. approx. 2 hours later I get an email saying order cancelled. Weeks later, supposedly delivered, but I have nothing. Called C/S and they had the wrong name, address, etc. Lady corrected the info but says it was delivered. Now I am waiting to hear from someone else. As of 4-11-22, no tonneau cover and no bed mat.
Stay away from these folks, terrible experience!"
"Arrived 5 days late. Box was ripped open on 2 of 4 corners. Rips and tears on both sides and looked as if re-taped on top. Tonneaucoversworld.com & FedEx had no answers when I called Tue, Wed & today when I called asking where my cover was.
Extang covers are available ALL OVER the internet. Please avoid this site, their awful customer service and shotty order filling.

"I ordered a Tonneau Cover last week, and I ordered the wrong size. I started the return process, and I never received an email back. So yesterday, I tried calling again and was unable to speak to anyone ! I had to do a live chat again ! Since I got no answer yesterday on my return, I requested another return label. The guy tells me that my request has now started over because I started a new return. Ridiculous!! Now, I have to wait another 3 to 5 days to get a return label. So, at this point, I told him to go ahead and issue a refund ! I will not be ordering anything else from them! It shouldn't take 3 to 5 days for a return label, and it shouldn't restart your process if you never heard back from them in the first place. I also wrote a review on their website, and they took it down !! So, do not go by what the reviews say on the website; they only leave up good review ! DON'T BUY Anything from them ! "
"late shipping, wrong size sent, then sent a substitute product, which does not stay on as advertised (junk). Now they say it's past 30 days and they will not honor the warranty. That's because it's taken you so long to fix the problem and you still haven't fixed it! Lifetime warranty advertised is actually only 30 days. Trade elsewhere. Buyer beware. "
"I paid 2200 for a cover with no parts to hold it on. I called and dealt with the service for over an hour and then was told to go down to the dealer and get the serial number off the cover so they can look into sending the brackets out. I wasted a day dealing with this terrible customer service. Do not purchase from them."
"I purchased this tonneau cover, along with other items, that promised shipment within a week. Three weeks later, after being charged over $1,800, I have received three boxes from TonneauCoversWorld, each of which contained parts of a previously opened GatorTrax tonneau cover for my truck, but still not a complete cover. Apart from purchasing a new cover (not open box), several necessary components of a functional cover system are still missing, making it impossible to install. After three tries, and several calls, emails, and chat messages, no resolution. They appear intent on keeping my $1,800 while never actually sending me the product that I purchased. Difficult to tell if this is an elaborate fraud, or if they are really this incompetent"
"We ordered a cover for our truck. It was delivered banged up all around the outside cover, we installed it and it binds up and wont open or close. Reached out to the company they refused to refund, credit, or replace. I have been writing emails, phone calls for over 3 weeks trying to either get a new one shipped or a refund, even a credit at this point. NO. They say once it was delivered it is no longer their problem. We now have a 3k cover that is broken/damaged and Tonneau World Covers refused to stand behind their products. DO not purchase from them, they will not support any warranty on their covers. "
"I placed an online order on June 14, 2021. I heard nothing for one week, so I called to check the status of my order. I was told that the manufacturer was 6 weeks out, and that my order hadn't been placed yet with them. So I cancelled it. Then she told me it would take up to 6 business days to process the cancellation. Six days!! It is now day two and I called again. This time the woman told me it could take even longer.
I will never order from them again, and discourage anyone else to. "
"Charged our company twice for a tonneau cover. Fighting tooth and nail to get the refund. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Ridiculous hold times on phone. Chat? Not a chance. 1-2 days for someone to get back to once you open a "chat" with their reps. "
"I ordered the cover on 3-26-21 they charged my paypal immediately . After three weeks and a few requests to get a ship date. They never gave me one. I finally canceled the order and ordered it from someone else. Three days later they sent me an email that said they had shipped it! I called and they said they would not refund the purchase until it was returned. I checked with UPS and the only thing that had been done was a label was created, it had not been picked up yet. This is not a company you want to buy from."

"Customer service is non existent, I bought a hard tonneau cover for a 21 Ram 1500 that came damaged. I tried to call that night on a Friday and they were closed so I sent an email. This was Jan 8th 2021. Jan 13th still hear nothing from them so I call and get a nice lady on the phone that says my email went to the wrong person. She says it is now assigned to the right person and to send picks of the damage and someone will get back to you in 2-3 business days.. It's now Jan 19th 2021 and no response. I call and get someone on the phone and they put me on hold to get the person in charge of my issue. He gets back on the line after 5 minutes and says she's on an extended call and she will call me back. Anyone want to guess who didn't call me back? No one."
"I wish I could give them a 0 stars for customer service. I ordered an item it shipped the next day and then lost by fedex. I have been trying to get them to start a claim with Fedex for a week. I called and talked to someone on the phone who started a claim with tonneau covers world and gave me a ticket number. Then this lady emails me and says it has not shipped yet. So I reply with the tracking number and get no reponse, I sent an email every day for a week to get an update. So now I call and get the person in charge of my ticket and she says sorry I am busy, I will start it now. HORRIBLE DO NOT BUY ANYTHIING FROM THESE PEOPLE. "
