"My pc arrived on Nov.12, 2003. Mostly I play Counter strike and surf the www. So far it has worked flawlessly without any problems. Excellent customer service. The owner, Jon, was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Emails and phone calls were answered promptly. I ordered a black case, they emailed and asked if I would like to change to a blue case for $80.00 less, because they were having a special deal, I went with the blue. Also I ordered a windowless side door. But when the pc arrived the side door had a window, which is an extra $50.00. They didn't bill me for that :). Looks much better with a side window. As an avid gamer, as well as an amateur web-designer / 3d artist I needed a laptop that could pretty much do it all. E-mail them yourself, and you'll know why. For one, Thunderbox PC's customer service is bar none the best in the business. Every e-mail I sent was quickly replied to and extremely helpful. You simply can't get much better than this.

Next... I wanted a computer that was unique: Something that would visually reflect my personality. T-Boxes case skins immediately caught my attention, and I found a skin that was perfect for the job.

I'm sorry, but the thought of purchasing a "custom" computer, only to have countless others look absolutely identical to it, didn't appeal to me. (*cough* Almost every other manufacturer *cough*) Ok, so you can get two or three different colors. Whoop de doo.

What sealed the deal? Performance & Price. As many of you may know, {Full Time College + Part Time Job = Very Little Money to Go Around.} The parts used in T-box PC's are top notch, and their prices are extremely competitive with their competition.

By complete coincidece, a buddy of mine, who has been saving for his system for as long as I have, ordered a brand spanking new, Area 51m. While he did order his around Christmas time, as opposed to my January order date, the specs on our systems are identical, save his incher larger screen and DVD burner. (I chose a DVD/CDRW combo). My Point? He payed over $1000 more than I did.

Verdict? Don't take my word for it...go to Thunderbox PC's website and see for yourself. I could not be happier with my system. It looks absolutely amazing, turning heads wherever I go, and performs even better. My Alienware buddy, was speechless upon meeting my new baby, and while we have yet to compare benchmark #'s...Let's just say, bring it on.

It was a pleasure doing business with them, and I would without a doubt, purchase a PC from them again in the future.

While I was shopping for computers, I would e-mail Jon questions and he would answer my e-mails usually within 30 minutes and always within 24 hours. "We all ask the question ... "What ever happened to great customer service?" Well, I've found it! Its' been hiding at all along in the great state of Texas at ThunderboxPC.

Yes, I've spoken to the big guys of custom gaming computers (names not required, we all know who they are), and at best, all I got was, "Well, we are the largest ... highest sales ... etc ..."

Jon Mancil, (owner of ThunderboxPC) thoroughly impressed me throughout every step of my Thunderbox PC purchase. As I explained to Jon, "For once in my life, I wanted the latest, greatest, fastest, and the best in gaming technologies available" (AMD 64 FX51, ATI 9800 256mb XT). We all want the best, BUT of course, there are budget restraints to contend with.

Jon worked with me patiently, with the greatest of care and respect. He generously met my budget (I had to have a quality flat screen LCD monitor), by offering me a substantial discount to have my rig "reviewed" by an online gaming company.
As in any PC purchase, one or two issues arose (despite impeccable packing, UPS put a five inch slash in my outer shipping container = one inch dent in tower side). The one or two emails I made were promptly answered (Jon never sleeps) and always, ended up with problems solved.

Now after weeks of game play, all I can say is, "This box rocks!" Between the customization, the attention to detail and pure raw power, I have had every expectation met and better yet ... far exceeded! Thanks for everything Jon.

When I opened the packing I was a little concern with the box that said "IS7 series mother board". I have some skills but wasn't looking forward to starting out from scratch. Luckily for me (as you know) it was full of paperwork. The binder was also a nice touch. The whole package was the most user-friendly system I have ever purchased. Certainly a far cry from a (real name deleted) product that I did have to start from almost scratch.

runs really quiet and cool despite the overclocking. His previous system,
