"Ordered both lower front suspension control arms with ball joint assembly for my 2005 Malibu. Local GM dealer wanted $676.20 for them including tax. Other local aftermarket suppliers quoted $225-$250 plus tax(not sure where they were made..China?). Ordered MOOG (well known quality steering and suspension parts supplier)from Thewrenchmonkey website. Good to see a Canadian site that supplies Canadian customers (avoiding cross-border customs hassles,duties etc.) Thewrenchmonkey's price was $387.50 including taxes and free (over $75) regular Canada Post shipping. Saving me over $275.00! I placed my order Thursday morning May 2nd and the parts were delivered to me(here in Nova Scotia) by Canada Post early afternoon Monday May 6th. That's shipping from London Ontario to Dartmouth Nova Scotia in 5 days including a weekend! I'm very pleased with my experience, which I would consider excellent. My mechanic was also very impressed with the parts when he installed them on Thursday May 9th. Based on my experience with Thewrenchmonkey I would highly recommend their service. Dartmouth Dave "

"My Experience with the wrench monkey was not the best.I purchased Timken bearings from them and two week later i have not received them.So i email them to find out y i did not get them.Their response was we forgot to call you sorry.So i had to tell my Customer that i could not get his bearings.So i looked like a fool

"P*SS POOR SERVICE! YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY UPSET IF YOU IGNORE THIS REVIEW. THEWRENCHMONKEY.COM COULDN'T FILL 1 ORDER, AND SO FAR IT HAS TAKEN A MONTH FOR A RETURN TO BE ISSUED AND I'M STILL WAITING!!!!!!!!!!! I never write reviews but after dealing with this joke of a company I felt compelled to inform others of the nightmare they will be entering into by ordering parts from TheWrenchMonkey.com I order parts all of the time and have never come across such a poorly run and operated company. They make even the worst sellers on eBay appear as saints.

I ordered an HVA/C Blower Motor for my 2001 Dakota. Everything appeared great until I received the package, and that is when the nightmare began. They blower they sent me was the wrong part, it was meant for a different model year, easy mistake. So I called and they discovered that the parts are listed wrong in their catalog and website. I was informed of the discovery and told that the correct blower would be sent out as soon as the paper work was completed and in the new blowers box would be a return shipping label to send the wrong blower back. Everything sounded great and I hung up the phone a happy customer. Three days later I received an email, not the phone call I was promised when we spoke on the phone a few days prior. The email stated that they would not be shipping me a replacement, and they were going to be emailing me the return shipping label. In order to get the right part I would have to purchase another heater creating a whole new order. The email also stated that once the wrong blower was received I would be refunded. Needless to say I was upset when I received this email. When I called them, the excuses began, along with a lot of back pedaling and blatantly denying that our prior arrangements ever took place. However I had emails to verify what I was saying was true sent from TheWrenchMonkey.com's address. Well a month has passed since this whole ordeal began and they have had the returned Blower since the 3/15/13 and my refund has yet to be issued. After calling them to find out where my money was, I was told they needed to look into the matter and they would be getting back to me later today. I've heard this line from them in the past and I'm expecting an email that will have a vague explanation and won't be up to my expectations. long story short STAY WAY FROM THEWRENCHMONEKY.com THEY ARE A POORLY RUN COMPANY THAT IS INCAPABLE OF SIMPLE INVENTORY TASKS AND ENTERING INFORMATION CORRECTLY!!!!

"Thank you wrenchmonkey.com I purchased brake shoes and wheel cylinders for a 2002 kia sportage. when placing my order i forgot to put my full email address so i contacted them by phone and was speeking to a rep,(Mark). He straightned out my order and was verry helpful and plesent to do business with. The next day i recieved a call from them stating one of the wheel cylinders were discontinued. i was verry pleased at his service and the option for me to purchase another one of a different brand (even though i chose not to take the replacement) They quickley refunded me the price of the discontinued cylinder and sent an email of the refund.. The service was excilent and i send out Koodos to mark for an exceptional job And thanks for the fridge magnets i recieved in the box.

Definatly worth purchasing from them and will recomend to everyone worth a look. Once again exelent services and support. Keep it up Wrenchmonkey, Great Job To ALL.

"The parts came quickly. I was not sure they would fit were Honda will not sell them, forcing you to buy the Whole drive shaft. The parts were a perfect fit. I told my mechanic were I purchased the U Joints and center Bearing. He wrote down the web site to pass it along to customers wishing to save money with Honda products. "My order had a little "hiccup" but The Wrench Monkey had great customer service and I am pleased. I paid for 2nd day shipping, and my order did not go out on time, so it looked like it would be late, as I needed it by weekend to get my wife's car fixed. I contacted their customer service and they apoligized and refunded my shipping costs, but then when the order did go out it was shipped next day, and I only got it one day later than expected. I was able to still get my wife's car fixed that weekend and I'm a happy customer. I picked them on-line as they had the best value on the part, and it fit perfectly and works great. I will use them again for parts needs. Good Job to TheWrenchMonkey!!"

"My order got slow during the Christmas season. A front driveshaft for a 01 dakota from rockford driveline.

I placed my order and heard no response besides the confirmation for a week. So I called the 1800 number and was greeted with a Human response within the first 2 rings. (very good). I asked about my order and asked for a tracking number. The lady said she would get down to the bottom of it and get back to me. Another half a week went by. No response, so I called back, again a fast answer and again she said she would get into it and find out what was going on. Well this time she did, somewhere along the line there was communication problems and the package was finally getting shipped. I didn’t pull down her email right away and called back and got a man this time. He explained the problems a bit, apologized and said to check my mail. I now have tracking and all is well.
While I am in a bit of a rush to get this part replaced I can understand the odd mess up, and can understand more when the shops that make the part etc are closed during the holidays. The 1800 number, fast human answer gave me a lot more trust that they were legitimate, and gave me more peace of mind after the first call.

The stock shaft I need to replace can be had at a local napa for the same price as the cost as the rockford shaft. The difference is the rockford shaft has two ujoints instead of the stock rzeppa joint.
Thanks to the free shipping, I'll only be having to wait.


So what can be done to improve here.
Maybe a little better order tracking/notification.
If an order hasn’t been sent out ship notification in 48-72 hours, send out a notification update to the purchaser, send a reminder to TWM staff and maybe even the supplier depending on the status of the order.
Reset that counter on anything un-shipped.
This way you don't have people in my situation calling wondering the status of their order and TWM has some kind of priority ring queue while dealing with supplier communication.

Otherwise they seem great and from the apology and all I'm sure they'll be trying to serve everyone better.
Sometimes things happen, that's life.
