"I ordered the Canon Macro Twin Lite MT-24EX from The Imaging World through their website on 2/5/11, and received confirmation emails from both them and PayPal about the purchase. Five days later (2/10/11) I received an email from PayPal saying my money had been refunded, with no further explanation given from Camweis, Inc. I then sent an email to The Imaging World (the customer service address listed on their website) requesting an explanation about the transaction, and I still have not heard from them at all! Their price on the item was much lower than anywhere else, so this just reinforces the old saying "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". I would recommend avoiding purchasing items from this company, for whatever reason they seem to advertise items they don't actually have. If I had ordered the flash from anywhere else I would have had it a week ago."

Either way, they said that a lens was in stock online, so I placed an order. Got my order confirmation fairly quickly but no shipping information--which was understandable over the weekend. As of Tuesday, I still haven't received any shipping information so I called in to check up on my order status.
The guy on the phone said that the lens has been out of stock as if I was supposed to have known when ordering. I told him that it said in stock online. He apologized and said he would refund the order.
Few minutes later, I received an email from paypal that a refund has been put into place. Now I'm just waiting for the money to show back up in my bank account.

I spent about three months searching for the best price for a "Canon 60D" camera body and selected lens. I watched "eBay", "Amazon.Com", "Best Buy", "B&H Photo", "Cambridge Photo" and "Abe's Camera" to name just a few. I also went to my local "Best Buy" to examine the "60D". At that time, "Best Buy" wanted $1299.99 for that camera and "The Imaging World" had it for a much cheaper price with no charge shipping. I was still nervous.
I called "The Imaging World" in December 2010 and was assured this was indeed a NEW, factory fresh, US Warranty (NOT "gray market") camera with ALL English language documentation. I was still skeptical but the prices were too good to pass up.
I ordered the "60D" camera, a 50mm f/1.4 Canon lens and a 32G memory card. At the time I placed the order, "Amazon.Com" was offering this same camera for $999.95 and "The Imaging World" was selling the exact same camera for a lot less than that. The lens and SDHC memory card were also much cheaper at "The Imaging World" than most other places.
My order arrived within two days from Brooklyn, NY to North Carolina via "FedEx". It was perfectly packaged and just as described. The camera, lens and memory card are all indeed factory fresh and BRAND NEW. Everything worked perfectly and my camera and lens are now fully US warrantied with "Canon".
"The Imaging World" is everything they say they are. All of the positive reviews are TRUE. They are a United States, "Canon" distributor (NOT "gray market", used or refurbished merchandise) and they do have the absolute BEST prices and no charge shipping (quite a plus).
I am perfectly pleased with my purchase and HIGHLY recommend them. I WILL be ordering from them again as I purchase some additional lenses and an external flash for my new camera.

After enjoying my new camera for a couple of weeks, I called "The Imaging World" again to order a new telephoto lens and Speedlite Flash for my new camera. Once again, they had the absolute BEST prices of anyone. The new lens and flash were shipped "no charge" and arrived within 2 days via FedEx. They were perfectly packaged, and are US products (NOT "gray market) and worked perfectly.

"I took a chance and ordered a Canon SX20is from this company that I was unfamiliar with. They had a low price, very fast delivery and good responses by e-mail to any questions or concerns.
the SX20os I received didn't meet you requirements on color reproduction and after talking with Joel Weiss I returned it and they sent me a replacement. That too came very quickly. In my opinion the problem with color was the same so I asked for a refund. Within a day after my second camera was received back at the Imaging World I got an e-mail asking how I wanted the refund. The next day my Pay Pal account notified It had been refunded. The Imaging World did everything right, I just wasn't satisfied with the Canon. Next time I am looking for a Camera I will check with them first, and even be willing to pay a little more because of their customer satisfaction standards."
