"After spending three days (online and locally) searching for an infrared filter for my D70, I finally ran across this retailer. I called to inquire on their stock and they had one left. The person I spoke with was very nice and very accommodating. In addition, he was knowledgeable about their products. I ordered the filter along with 2-day shipping (only $15) and received the package as ordered. Although I did not check their ratings before ordering (they were the only place that had what I needed), I did notice some bad reviews under 2filters.com (note the "s"). My suggestion would be to phone in your order OR call them about an order placed online if there are questions. I would definitely order from them again."

" Hi guys,

I'd like to share my experience from shopping with 2filters. These guys are just perfect. I have ordered 3 filters (Hoya HMC Skylight 1b 55mm, Hoya HMC ND 4x 55mm, Hoya Moose Polarizer 55mm) and 55mm Plastic Cap on 24th March and I have got it all today !!! And all this just for 65.58 + 10.50 shipping fee !!! No customs or anything else. I cant wait for tommorow to try all these filters. I will surely do some testing and write short review for these filters.

PS: Just to let you know price comparison to UK Jessops :

Hoya HMC Skylight = Jessops £16.49 - 2filters $13.43
Hoya HMC ND 4X = Jessops £21.99 - 2filters $17.53
Moose Warm Circular Polarizer = Jessops £26.49 - 2filters $30.99
(but Jessops doesnt have Moose I believe it would be far over 30 pounds)
Cap - Jessops £3.49 - 2filters 3.63

So even if there would be customs fee it would be much much cheapier.

"I have recently purchased several bits and pieces from 2filter.com for my Fuji S5000 and I HIGHLY reccomend them.

I bought a Raynox 1.54, a Kenko 0.5 wide angle, set of Hoya close-ups (1+ 2+ 4+), a circular polarizer.

These were demo items which I got cheaper than anywhere else and I was expecting a couple of scratches... everything was brand new.

I wrote them a couple of E-mails and they answered in about 10 minutes.

You even get free delivery over 50$ and free insurance... what would you want more?

"These guys are just great!! I'm an international shopper from Mexico and everything was ok. They'll answer all your questions, the shipping method was really good, it only took 6 business days to arrive at a very reasonable cost ($10.50), the prices are good. Overall they are excellent, if you can't find accesories in your country for your 30 or 37mm camera (like i do), don't think twice visit their site and place an order, you won't regret."

"WOW! I ordered some accessories for my canon camera - a bayonet mount adapter tube, 2 filters, one wide angle lens and some other small stuff.... it came in 2 days (wed -> fri) and everything is in perfect condition. They shipped the same day and it got here blazing fast, not to mention that it was free since my order was over $50.

"I ordered a macro ring from the Filter Connection on March 7, 2003. It was out of stockand had to be back ordered. What I want to commend this company for, however, is the way that they informed me immediately, and continued to keep me well informed of my order status during my wait. They also informed me immediately when my order shipped on March 20. This was a very small order--yet they gave me good information and customer service and didn't leave me wondering where my order was for two weeks. I will order from them again, and I recommend them to others. One small negative is that their shipping charges seem a little high."

"I purchased 2 filters from The Filter Connection (www.2filter.com) on January 17th,2003 before 3PM EST. The seller didn't ship on the same day as promised; it was Friday. The seller finally shipped the filters on Tuesday - 4 days later.

I just received my filters today, Friday the 31st, more than 2 weeks later after I ordered.

The S&H was pricey for an international (Canadian) buyer; I think it's totally unfair. In fact, USPS only charged the seller $1.60 USD, but the seller charged me $6.80 USD for S&H. I think the seller makes way too much profit out of S&H alone, from the international buyers.

I would not mind at all that they charged me $6.80 USD for S&H, if they used a faster service. The Filter Connection only used a turtle-speed service, which caused them only $1.60 USD+the cost of the lowest quality package; it took me 2 weeks, which is too long to receive my filters.

BTW, S&H will cost you even more for other countries. The seller will charge you quite an amount for S&H, but don't expect them to use a fast service. Just to remind you guys international buyers outthere, it took me 2 weeks to receive my filters and I live in Canada, which is right above the USA.

Lastly, 1 of the 2 filters is not clean; there a fault(spot) in the multi-coated layers that cannot be removed. There is also plenty of dust on it; I started to think that this filter could have been a returned one - not a brand new one. I'll try to live with it because I might have to wait another 4 weeks before I get a replacement, if I want one.

I've decided to exchange the flaw filter for a new one. This time, the replacement filter arrived a bit faster, still took about 9 days for the filter to arrive. They allowed me to keep the flaw one until the new one arrived. They also included the prepaid envelope for shipping the flaw one back to them. I didn't have to pay any extras for S/H. Well, they have already charged me $6.80 USD for S/H at the first time, which it's more than enough to cover the total cost of S&H ($1.10X3 = $3.30.)

I belive that this store is a reputable one. I will not hesitate at all to recommmend this store to anyone.

The defective filter I sent them was sent back to me, because the stamps on the prepaid envelope are USA stamps. Canada post told me that for any letters to be sent from any places in Canada, the stamps have to be Canadian stamps. I talked to 2filter and they told me to keep the defective filter as well.

I highly recommend this store to anyone although it'll take a while for international buyers to receive their items.
