"Product is good, shipping was fast. The only complaint I have is that the only alternative to UPS for Canadian shipping is USPS. UPS (unlike other shipping companies) ends up with over $23 in border taxes NO MATTER WHAT the product is, as long as its base value is above $20CDN. I have never experienced this with other shipping companies, and after correspondance with Cutting Edge (who was quick to respond), they said that they were aware of the problem but that I should have used USPS. I'd suggest that they not even bother offering the UPS Canada option without a warning about the *extra* duties they end up with though, since it really does seem pointless (and will anger many customers I'd imagine).
I suggest that other Canadian buyers not use UPS if they do business with cutting edge.
(Yes, officially it is Canada Customs which is in control of duties, and not UPS, but I have never experienced the mandatory $23 on purchases valued at $20+ with any other shipping company)"
