"This was the worst on-line store I have ever dealt with. Their pricing was deceptive, ended up paying $42 more than what I thought I was paying. Thier staff are exceptionally rude. I did get the product I ordered, but it was not a pleasant experience."

"I had a similar experience as everyone else. The website indicates the camera was in stock. I ordered it, was prompted by another email stating to call with more credit card information. When I called, they tried to sell me more products (which were very overpriced) and I declined. As of today, when I received no shipping notice, I called and was told the order was cancelled. I said "by whom" and they said "us" and hung up on me! I called back and asked to speak to a manager and they asked my order # and then asked which camera I ordered. I told them and they said the camera is no longer available and I said that they should have notified us of that and they hung up on me again! I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. They should be investigated! I researched them thru a best price site and they gave them 4 out of 5 stars. It wasn't until today that I found this site and found that everyone else had the same problem I did! NEVER buy from this company!!!"

"I purchased a Panasonic dmc-fz7k digital camera from this website. Upon completing the order a screen popped up instructing me to call them to confirm the order. I called and was immediately upselled on additional products I did not want. When I did not buy any additional products the salesman asked why I was buying a refurbished camera and not a new one. I asked why the website did not disclose that the product was refurbished and he replied "does it say that it is new?" "Same as the others... I assumed "The Digital Expo" was OK based their rating at everyprice.com (I'll check here next time). I ordered a camera, and the confirmation email said to call them to confirm. I did so, and was pitched a bunch of overpriced accesories. "We purchased a Canon Powershot 2S is camera from a few weeks ago and will NEVER deal with them again. Ordered online and was told we needed to call to confirm. Was pressured into buying a memory card for 99.99 and when I called back to discuss this with them they were very rude, threatened me with cancelling the entire order, which I should have done! When the camera came with its overpriced SD card the invoice had no detailed information and I was overcharged another $ 50 or so for something? BUYER BEWARE!!!

"My experience with these people is the same as others posted.Called them because they had best prices, but then try to sell additional goods at inflated prices. When you don't bite, the original item is suddenly out of stock and they hang up. Then ordered the camera online (in stock) and shortly got a call from them trying to sell add-ons and package deals at high prices.Was put on hold several times,returning each time with a lower price. "Wanna order a canon powershot sd700. They called back and wanted to sell me a 1 GB SD card but I didn't want to because i had already one. On Saturday Oct 21, 2006 I placed an order with Http://www.thedigitalexpo.com. I called and confirmed my order as per e-mail. I was than asked to buy a memory card and battery. When I declined the representative told me that the camera I'd ordered was refurbished and the new one would cost much more. I canceled the order
and I went back to the web site and emailed receipt to see if I'd missed something. I found no mention of "refurbished" anywhere. I then did what I should have in the first place, I Googled them and found the posts on this site (amongst others). I immediately contacted the credit card company and cancelled the specific card number, just-in-case. They are sending me out a new one. I don't know if it was necessary but it will allow me to sleep better.
