"I bought a "Refurbished" HP Laptop from Techdepot when I tried to use it on battery power it would not work. I contacted Techdepot, gave them the error code and was told to return the laptop. After returning the laptop I had to contact them several times to find out when they were sending a replacement. When I did receive the rep[lacement laptop it looked like some piece of junk someone else returned. When I tried to turn it on it would not even begin to boot up. Again after numerous emails I was told to send it back for a full refund. Well that went Great! Spent more time emailing these scammers and never got a refund. I got nowhere with Ebay nor PayPal in getting a refund. Got a lame excuse that to much time passed. I had the first laptop a few week and the second replacement a few days.
Techdepot advertises as selling refurbished computers but all they sell is junk and steal your money. It also looks to me that Ebay and Pay Pal are just as bad. Why do they standup to these low life sellers that just steal money?

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM TECHDEPOT.

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!! THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Since when does a vendor harass u and try to force u into taking their product after refusing their service and stopping payment. First of all, I got an email saying that the product had been shipped via FedEx, but when I checked the status of my tracking #, the delivery time was still pending and a label had only been created at FedEx, but they hadn't received a package at all. SCAM!!! That status never changed! It remained the same for days until I called my bank and reported that I had been scammed and requested to stop payment and get my money back. Suddenly I get a text the next day after not being able to contact these people at all because the number that was on the confirmation in the email was not a working number, but somehow they managed to text me from some other number demanding that I tell my bank I made a mistake and that they are going to send me the product. I blocked these people, and they contacted me from another number telling me that I owe them. I blocked that number, and they texted me from another number saying that FedEx lost the package lol. At this point, I'm ready to contact the police because this is harassment. After this text I didn't hear from them anymore but I get an email saying that my package is out for delivery. I called FedEx to refuse the package! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE! RUN!!!!"

"As a small business user, Tech Depot is great. Fast and free shipping, a dedicated account rep, good prices, and excellent package tracking. I like getting an email not just when the order is received, but also when it is shipped that includes tracking information. "I Ordered a video game for my son (Homefront X360), they shipped the wrong game. I made a total of four calls requesting a return authorization or exchange. Each call received same response - what's your phone #, someone will call back within 4 hours. I have yet to receive a call back. On the last call I asked to speak to a supervisor, the response... they're in a meeting and will call me back within 24 hours. It's been 7 days since first phone call.

I will never use them again! "

"I ordered an Edge digital picture frame from office depot and the order was filled through Tech Depot. The picture frame came with a loose c-mos battery floating inside I called to return and get an exchange. And when getting my order slip from inside the box noticed an address with an RMA# on it from the person who had ordered this same picture frame before me I notified thre customer service department about this hoping they would want to expidite things since they had made a mistake in sending out something that had been returned from another customer but no I was still told that someone would contact me in four hours which did not happen any of the four times I called until I asked to talk to a supervisor which was buisy and would have to call me back. And I asked for a return and instead I will get a refund check in the mail in two to three weeks. I have a feeling that I will be calling for that check two to three dozen more times. Usually I go with my regular online merchants, but found a rare crazy deal on a Lacie 500GB external drive for $99 I believe it was a price mistake as this drice is at least $179 at the cheapest places. Ordering was painless, and when they mean next day delivery, they mean it. Only draw back for frequent purchases is they charge tax in NY, but the deal was so good it didn't matter to me.
