"I've had good overall experience with this seller in the pst year, with about 5 purchases. There were a few times the service was fast, almost same day shipping of my order. And there was the time the staff was ill, so email questions went unanswered for a week or so. But when they did answer, they were very apologetic and helpful and wanting to resolve the problem ASAP.
The products are good, authentic products. I would continue to make purchases from this seller.

"Very fast shipping. After placing my order I received my chip in less than a week to the US. The chip didn't work though, and am currently trying to return it for another one. It's a bad time of year, they are busy and it's taking forever to get a response, and they are closed now til after the new year so I have to wait a couple more weeks.."

"Ordered a mod chip for my Wii on 11/19/08. Shipping was extremely fast. Ordered the solderless version but the chip did not work. I emailed Techsick and got a prompt reply asking me to try a few things and also the version number on the chip. It has been over a week now with no response.

Everything has been great up to the point of the chip not working. I understand they are probably busy but in one of the emails I just asked for any kind of reply just to let me know what is going on. I could accept that.

I just wish I could recommend this company to the others at work who would like to mod their Wii's. They are waiting to see how this is resolved before placing an order.

"The service provided by TechSick has been sensational, these guys I totally recommend.

I called to ask about Wii Modchips for 4 different units and they took the time to discuss the various options for each (to a newbie like me!) and I had the order a day later.

One Wii decided to be 'difficult' but the post sales support was fantastic and with one quick call the issue was sorted out., doesn't get much better than that.

Big thanks to Adam for putting up with all my lame questions.

"I placed an order on Oct 1 for the Solderless D2pro 5/9 wire Modchip with SPI. I quickly recevied an email stating that my order has been processed, I checked Techsick website to get clarification for whether that meant it that my item had been shipped or not. It has now been a week and my item has not arrived (which doesn’t really upset me).But does upset me is that I have tried to contact Techsick several times to no avail. All I wanted from Techsick is clarification and shipping details on my item, I guess that was too much to ask for. Hopefully after this I will receive a email detailing the specifics of my transaction with them.

I hate posting comments that details a companies business, but this seems to be the only way to get a response from Techsick.

***Update. I recently spoke with Greg at Techsick; and owe him and his fellow employees an apology. I jumped the gun and openly criticized Techsick for not responding to my emails. What I failed to realize is that most companies including Techsick don’t work on the weekends and since they don’t work they most likely won’t respond to emails. After speaking with Greg for about 5 min everything was clarified and worked out.

I suggest that everyone work with Techsick because of their dedication to customer service. Also, before you decide to post comments about another company try to understand their perspective.

"Techsick may not respond to your emails as quickly as you'd like, but they do have great customer service and people that care. Will even work on the weekends for you :-D. Their shipping time was unremarkably fast. Had problem with modchip, but will be sending back for a replacement. If you need a modchip, this is the place to go. Will try hard to help you as much as possible."

"why the review are so high? My two emails does not get response at all.

I placed an order 7 days ago. haven't received the product yet. The site shopping pages and articles looks instructive but:

First, I sent an email 6 days ago asking about firmware of wiichip, no reply.

Second, the 'order processed' email 6 days ago does not include any tracking number as they claimed in FAQ. The FAQ says the fedex international takes 2 to 6 days and I still haven't received the product. I sent an email yesterday asking for the number and didn't get any reply yet.

Update: 09/25/08

There were some confusion about the shippment. The order page does mention about the delay and I misread the FAQ that it will ship once I got an email saying 'processed'. I got in touch with the TechSick support and the order is shipped with tracking number for me. They does do hard work on orders and write nice and informative emails reply.

Suggestion for buyers, looks like it is better to reply to the order confirmation email to ask questions to get them answered in short time.
