Manager Lies

"Went into the local t mobile store. Added 2 phones on family plan. Was told my all in payment would be $220. Well bill came back at $265. Went back to the store that gave me the original payment.Manager says that doesn’t include my other 2 other phones. We the paperwork I have from her show 4 lines all in for $220.. Now making excuses, instead of owning up to her mistake. .. Hate Liers.. "

Poor service, bad connectivity, and bad people

"I have been customer of Family plan for 6 lines with T-Mobile since 2005. Never missed a bill since then. It’s about 11 years now. This company is growing like weed on the grass. The services are so much but all below average. The website is so lossy. The website usually has a a slow response such that you get tired and give up and leave the site!
The connection is poor in most places. The customer service 611 usually does not resolve your problem or does it partially.
In general, if I were in 11 years ago position and understanding, never, ever pick TMobile!!!!
No I have ballences on my bills due to phone purchase by my kids that I will pay them off and leave TMobile for good.
Never, ever pick TMobile!!! It is a very dump carrier !!!!

Horrible Customer Service Experience

"I have been a loyal T-mobile customer for over a decade and was trying to upgrade my phone to the newest model. I was given a massive run around, being told by a supervisor that I would be receiving a phone free of charge, yet when it came time to talk to someone about the phone being sent, I was told that "the promise wasn't on record" despite having been told it was less than five minutes ago.

I was given the run around on several occasions, with people saying one thing and then I would transfer to someone else, thinking that the situation was wrapping up, only to have someone contradict what was just said to me less than five minutes prior.

When I attempted to explain the situation to the customer service representative, she continued to talk over me, ignoring what I was saying. Finally, I hung up.

-10 stars is more like it

"While the tele customer service reps at T-Mobile are polite, they do not understand English fully. Upon speaking with multiple customer service reps over the past few months trying to fix a billing problem, I’ve noticed they just understand BASIC English. One rep didn’t even understand what the word “refund” means upon asking her!! She kept saying I owe the money on my account when it was acctually owed to me. It was supposed to be credited to my account and not added. She didn’t understand this basic concept which definitely tried my patience. Story short, I suppose I upset the wrong customer service rep and they ended up adding $450 to my balance due. It took lots of arguing and frustrating interactions with multiple people to finally get the balance fixed upon speaking with the supervisor. And I never even got my refund for my initial concern (only $60) which is frustrating but I don’t care and do not want to deal with their incompetence anymore. I had to threaten lawsuit (which isn’t like me) to get their attention. That’s always my last resort; although, I would’ve gone through with it if needs be. T-Mobile needs real American customer service reps who understand our needs and know the language fluently. And of course stop the fraudulent behavior!"

Looting customers

"Hi,
First when you are new to T-Mobile, they are very polite, until you become their customer. Once you become their customer that’s where they start looting.
I was charged 50$ saying that I have some international calls made from my mobile. When called customer care, they don’t even have patience to listen and answer the questions. Now I regret choosing T- Mobile. Out of experience please think twice before I want to switch to t-mobile.

Excellent customer service for over 9 years.

"I have been a T-Mobile customer for over 9 years and they always handle issues with professionalism and speed. I recently went to the store at 2207 Del Prado Blvd in Cape Coral, Fl and was greeted by Natalie. She was very pleasant and eager to solve my problem. The Mgr, Laynor, came over to assist and solved the issue immediately. I am always happy with the excellent service I receive from T-Mobile and especially this store. Thank you so much for taking care of me like a valued customer. Bruce Scheck"

TMobile is horrible to deal with

"After being with the company for 20 years (since they were VoiceStream), I had to close my account with TMobile. To start, it has the worst reception of any carrier in NJ. They make you buy a signal booster which marginally works. When they upgraded the service in the area not only did it NOT help my cell signal, it also caused problems on ALL my phones on the account. TMobile refused to help and I had to cancel service. Not only did they charge me full price for bad service, but they charged me two months AFTER I switched carriers. And then they charged me 300 dollars for the signal booster with a note saying I had 60 days to return it. WOW. I switched to Cricket wireless and have zero problems AND its cheaper!

Help can't find a good cellphone company?!?

"Now days it is difficult to find a good cellphone company that won't lie, or cheat you in some way, we all know this to be true by now. Verizon, T-Mobile, and metro PCs have me it clear to, not just me, that they couldn't care less about their customers. I have been with each of these "carriers" for minimum 3 years each! Believe me or not, I've been cheated and lied to, or they tired to steal and extra some of money from my account (long story) but my real point here is we need one.. yes folks, one cellphone company. Not two, or three, but one. With three different companies the possibilities are spread vary thin. My most recent at T-Mobile was, I came in due to the fact my screen stopped working, but couldn't access my account because I wasn't in authority for my own account. Casey explained how it would cost the company more to repair my phone instead of buying a new one. Also Casey told me he would sell me two phone for the price of one, I gladly accepted this offer, and when to open a new account, but when Casey returned from the back room he only came out with one phone, I proceeded with asking him where my second phone was, and he explained "oh that phone you already have is your second phone" after that I thanked Casey for is HONEST, GREAT service and walked out of the store to never look back at this dishonest company every again Casey you ****, and your a **** for that. To who ever owns T-Mobile you don't know how to run a Honest business or a business. Hope this helps because intended to spread and share more of my stories"

T-Mobile is terrible for so many reasons

"Here is one of them:

The mobile data "passes" are really small and very high price per GB. The slightly less exorbitant monthly "plans" cannot be purchased without enabling automatic payments. When T-Mobile posts those recurring payments, they will refuse to refund even if the plan has not been used at all.

I wish I could give negative stars.

"Having been with T-Mobile for the past two years, I can say In full confidence that this phone company is trash on multiple echelons. Starting with service: it doesn’t exist. I don’t get reception in my home or work place and my phone has randomly “deactivated” itself twice, called customer service and they had it turned back on but the fact it was doing it in the first place was crazy. Secondly, when you do call customer service your odds are about 1/17 that the person on the line will actually help you. Third, if you go to a store in person with an issue, you might get helped or you might get permanently locked out of your Apple account and lose all of your photos and memories because the staff messed up and reset the phone you were exchanging too soon, and leave you with “at least you can call and text still” instead of an actual apology for locking you away from over a year or memories on your phone. And lastly, I have a $75 unlimited plan however my phone bill is still over $120 (with military discount included). Could I grade in the negatives, I would give T-Mobile a -3 stars. Absolute worst phone company I’ve ever dealt with.
PS: don’t waste your money on an iPhone 8, the 6 is just as good

AVOID! BEWARE! SKIP! PASS! DO NOT USE!

"Recommends that because of network improvements in my area, I will need a new phone to avoid slower data speeds. WHAT? So, network improvements will cause slower data speeds, unless I spend another $300 for a decent new phone or get a new phone of lower quality? Their service is HORRIBLE anyway! AVOID! BEWARE! SKIP! PASS! DO NOT USE! Why would I need a new phone to avoid slower data speeds anyway? It’s a freakin’ radio signal. Has your internet company EVER told you that you need a new computer to avoid slower data speeds? Has a radio station EVER stated that you need a new car radio to avoid bad reception? Their service is HORRIBLE anyway! AVOID! BEWARE! SKIP! PASS! DO NOT USE!"

Extra charges!!!

"Hello everyone , I've been with T-Mobile for over two years now but last year I decided to switch companies to see how it goes . Today , after a whole year I'm being charge a fee they claiming I did not pay such date when I switch companies. They're are just trying to take advantage of our money and service. Such a terrible company charging extra fees out of no where , why wasn't I charge that money when I switch right away? "
