"DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!! I ordered a digital camera and was sent the wrong one and was charged a shipping fee when it was advertised with free shipping. In order to return the item, I have to pay a return shipping charge as well as a %15 restocking fee for THEIR MISTAKE. I reported them to the BBB. Please research companies before you buy. I made the mistake of not doing my research! "

"They were pushy and inconsiderate... The order was not shipped on time and thier attitudes SUCK! They are not worth the hassle of the few dollars you save if you are lucky to actually get what you want from them. Dont waist your time and effort here."

"I order an Monster Cable Surge Suppressor from TVSDEPOT and waited a month and never received it. After numerous calls they told me they no longer could get the item. It is still on their website for the same price I ordered the item for. They eventually told me they would provide a step down model for 20 dollars less. The model they sent me was not even a compareable model. I have called to return the item and have been placed on hold at the back of the line 5 times, after speaking to the same guy 3 times and another individual twice. I am now going to report to the BBB."

"Bought a plamsa tv from them. Worse decision I ever made in my life. They took an extremely long time to get back to me to confirm my order, and that was only after I called them and got bounced around from one salesperson to the other for forty minutes and then when I realized their shipping was wayyyyy overpriced, I called to check it out and they refused to cancel my order. Terrible sales team-- do not buy anything of value from this company unless you have a lot of time and money to spare."

"I placed an order for two nikon d200. The website mentioned specifically that it comes with USA manufacturer's warranty. However, a guy named Joey called and told me to return his call for confirm the order. Once I called he said that the item isn't USA manufacturer's warranty although it clearly stated in their website. He wasn't that friendly either when talking with me. He tried to sell the USA mfg warranty for a lot more than what is listed on the site. I decided to cancel the order. This company also owns other website: www.fotoconnection.com. BEWARE of this company. They said different things in order to rip you off."

"Ordered a new in the factroy sealed box Denon 2807 avr receiver and received a defective opened box 2807 that would only power on! Half of the accessories were not in the box either.

I called RODNEY in customer no service and got no service... Put me on hold then hung up. I called back and repeated what I had received and my complaint and this one said to send it to Denon service center. I said no, you sent something other than what I ordered and I was returning it to them. He said good luck as we won't accept it.

I had to dispute the transaction with my credit card company and they charged it back... Went to a local store and bought one there... Great receiver

I have never received such crappy service from any retialer... If you want to be mistreated... SHOP HERE!!!

"Thanks for the ratings. I ordered (online)a bundled PC, then called and they said it was out of stock. I called the next day and was passed from sales to customer service, then a Mr. Victor finally responded. He cancelled my order, and I received (2) emails within the hour documenting this.
If it was not for reading all the reviews, I would probably be waiting for an order confirmation, be charged to my credit card, make calls, etc, and after reading most of the horror stories, be out of my product and money for a while.
You do a great service.

"WARNING! STAY AWAY! These people are bait and switchers. They are also pushy, insulting and rude. After placing my order online, I received a phone call from the shady people at TvsDepot.com. The guy used scare tactics trying to cohears me into buying an extended warranty for 399.00. (the warranty actually sells for 299.00 on their site). He said that if I did not buy it, the plasma TV that I ordered would be shipped UPS. I pointed out that on the site it says ALL orders are shipped Via Professional carriers and truckers. But despite that fact they said my plasma TV would be shipped UPS if I did not purchase a warranty for 399.00 Then he went on to say that my shipment would not be insured. I pointed out that on my email receipt it clearly states insurance IS included in the shipping price. He also said that the menus on the TV would be in Taiwanese (not English). If I wanted English menus I had to pay 399.00 for the warranty. He also said that the TV on my order had NO warranty even though it states on the site that the TV has a 1 year manufactures’ warranty. I asked to speak with the guy’s boss and was given his supervisor who treated me exactly the same way and repeated all of the above lies and scare tactics stated above. I told him that they need to treat their customers with respect and he said that he doesn’t care how customers are treated because he makes 1000.000 a day and that’s all that counts. At that point I said I wanted to cancel my order. He then said I would be charged a 15% restocking fee. But the order was just placed like 35 minutes prior to all this. I asked to speak to his boss and was told the boss wasn’t in and won’t be in for 2 days. After more ill-treatment, bullying tactics and outright crap from these jerks I finally got the order cancelled. "

"I placed an order of Sony VAIO VGN-FJ270/B, July 4, 2006.
This company showed the same bad manner as other reviewers commented: Asking additional third-part warranty with forcing voice, and delivering bad conditioned products.

Eventually, I received the computer, but it was refubished. HardDisk and Memory in the note PC are mismatched with the original sony model. They are reduced to 60GB HDD and 512 MB memory, respectively.

I called and claimed it. They said that they would send the unmatched parts, but they still seemed not to send them.

Eveytime I called them by phone, they asked the same questions relating to my complaint.
They seemed not to listen and note my any word.
Moreover, once I asked the name of whe received my call, he dropped the call.

They do not have even e-mail contact.
This company shows a really bad service in every aspect.

If you want to experience what is the bad service, I suggest TVsDepot.

"I purchased a GE Profile Microwave/ Convection oven from TVsDepot on 12/6. After I finalized the purchase on line I received a phone call from Victor stating that because of the weight of the item (70 lbs) that the free shipping did not apply and the shipping charges normally would be $149.99 but because they wanted to take good care of me they could do it for $90.00. After I told him I dealt with UPS all the time and he was crazy I told him to cancel the order at which point he offered to ship it free for $25.00. I told them to ship it and when it arrived it was totally damaged. They said they would have to file a claim with UPS before they could send me a new one. At this time the oven is sitting in my entry hall awaiting a return form from them so I can send it back. I do not have a good feeling about this."

"What a bunch of frauds! Classic bait and switch. I'm so glad I found this site to give me the heads on this company. I purchased a Canon SD800 and an awesome price of $349 which included 2-3 shipping.

After 4 days passed I got a email saying they needed me to call to finalize my order. So, I called Sam back (ex 2051) and he tried to sell me another battery because the default one only worked for 15 minutes. I didn't believe him and said I would do some research and call hime back.

Well I when straight the the Canon website and they states that the battery will last for 6 hours playback time or 270 shots with the LCD on. Sam was full of crap.

I called him back and pointed out his lie and said it has to do with the LCD being on and he stood by his lie. I said I didn't want the battery and just continue with the sale. Then he pulled the you need to pay for shipping (another $10 I believe) and then another mandatory insurance fee ($18 I believe). I was not about to pay another $28 to them for shipping when there site clear stated free shipping. He said it was some glitch in the system. I told him to cancel the order at that point and he gladly did. I think that was what he wanted since I wasn't buy his expensive battery.

Oh well, I'm in no rush, I guess it is on to the next store, hopefully not another bait and store :)

"I had a terrible experience with this dealer. After I ordered a Panasonic TH50PX600U 50" Plasma LCD TV on 11/11/06, I was contacted by them to confirm the order and told it would take about 2 weeks. When I called back to to check on the status of the order today (11/22/06), at first they couldn't find the order and then the person I was talking with said I would have to talk with the manager. I was left on hold forever and then the manager came on and in a very gruff voice asked what I wanted. I already knew I was in trouble when they said they couldn't find my order. I asked the manager about the status of my order and, after another long hold period, he said it would take another 2-3 weeks yet. I asked where it was shipping from and for some shipping information. It was at that time that he disclosed to me that the TV I had ordered was made in China, not in Japan and that it did not have a U.S. warranty and that it takes longer to get them then the "real" ones. This information was not disclosed at the time I purchased the unit at their Web site and I would not have ordered it had I known that initially. Trouble city from there on. He then did the old "bait and switch" routine by asking me if would like the U.S. warranty one for about $1000 more. I told him no and to cancel my order immediately. He didn't give any static about it, but I will never attempt to purchase anything from this dealer again. When I looked again today through Froogle to see if the unit was still being advertised, it was no longer there. Fortunately, they had not put the charge on my credit card, which I would have disputed immediately had they done so. My advice to anyone thinking about buying from this dealer . . . DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM."

"Ordered a factory refurbished HDTV receiver from them. Unit shipped with satisfactory speed. Found out that 'factory refurbished' means a used unit thrown in a box. Unit was still programmed from previous user. A factory refurbished item would be set to default parameters.

Unit was defective (I already have one such unit). Took many emails/calls to get an RMA number from them. After four weeks, I hadn't received a credit nor would they respond to my emails. I had my credit card reverse the charges. After five weeks, they finally issued a credit less a 20% restocking fee. Now I know why my unit was defective. They restock defective goods and ship them out again. My credit card company resolved the issue with the extra credit so I was only out the money it cost me to ship the defective unit back to them.

"I came into this experience open-minded, which was a little risky considering all of the negative feedback I read on TVsDepot. I should have trusted my instinct, because my experience was beyond ridiculous. First of all, I ordered a Pioneer 60" plasma from their website. I got a call from Tom from TVsDepot confirming my order. Before the call was over, however, he launched into a pitch about their extended warranty. I told him I didn't want it, which caused him to launch into another sales pitch about it. I once again nicely told him I was not interested. He asked why. I told him I just wasn't. He continued by trying to bargain the price down, so I had to interrupt him to say, "Tom...I don't want the warranty." He said ok, finally, and put me on hold. Upon coming back, he tells me that if I want the 1-year manufacturer's warranty, then I'll have to buy the American version of the plasma, not the taiwanese version, at $250 more. I was in disbelief...I told him on their website it lists the 1-year manufacturer's warranty. He said it wasn't for the one I ordered, and went on to explain that they were doing me a favor by giving it to me for only $250 more because the TV would cost much more at Best Buy. I told him, "if you can't give me the American version of the TV for the price I ordered, then I don't want it. We argued for another 2 minutes or so, and he finally relented. I said, "you're sending me the version w/ the warranty right?" "Yes," he says. We end the phone call somewhat awkwardly at that point.

Just wait...it gets worse. I get several emails from them a couple days later, two of which say I need to call them back to confirm my order...and one a day later that says my order is CANCELLED! I call them immediately and ask why my order has been cancelled. They say it isn't, and connect me with Pete. He checks my order, and says it's on its way from China. WHAT? I tell him I specifically told Tom I DID NOT WANT the grey market version. He insisted that I would have to pay $250 more to get the american Pioneer. I said, "you know what, just cancel the order." "Ok," he says and I hang up the phone. I immediately call my credit card company to see if the charge is on there. It isn't, and I just shake my head. So was that their strategy, I wonder? Send an "order cancelled" email, get me to call, and once again try to get $250 more out of me? There was no TV on its way from China...absolutely unprofessional and deceptive.

Please avoid TVs Depot, unless you're ready to play games with a pathetic excuse for a business.
