"Very unprofessional!!... do not buy from this company. They are very rude to their customers and provide no assistance. They may be cheap but its worth the extra buck to go somewhere else.

Unbelievable this company is still in business oh did I mention if you do decide to return they charge over 20% restocking fee

"Not sure if this is a "one man band" of what the deal is here. Very Rude person (or people) to deal with The communication goes on...

They like to tout that they do "over 30 million in annual sales and ship thousands daily. We keep extremely busy and even though you cost us some manpower costs with a cancellation attempt shortly after an order was placed and shipped we would still welcome your business."

Well, "Surveillent" - Whether or not you do "$30 million" is annual sales doesn't mean a damn thing. I'd rather buy from a "smaller" company and get better service.

Yes you emailed us to cancel it at *_omitted_* and our email stated we are attempting to cancel it before it ships. We were unsuccessful as it shipped just minutes after you ordered it around noon that same day. Remember just because you don’t have tracking doesn’t mean we are working extremely hard to get customers' orders to them immediately.

We don’t sit around for several days after an order is placed waiting for a customer to change his/her mind. You have to respect that. It's amazing this a ground shipment and you will have it less than 3 full business days later.

"Bought Kantech Access Control Software from Surveillent.NET. Received the box with manual but no CD. Contacted Surveillant.NET and after some initial hiccups, they are working with the OEM and the supplier to get the issue resolved even though the 30 day window has passed.

"Absolutely worst online purchase experience I've EVER experienced. Purchased a variety of motion sensors including a remote transmitter that upon assembly into one of the sensors, presented with a broken component. My project being completely stalled until a replacement could be sent, I immediately contacted Surveillent customer service for an RMA and replacement part...now 2 weeks later and still going back and forth on emails each day with them "seeking more information from me each time," when all I needed is a replacement part. Last evening, upon being asked for serial numbers from the unit's board...I replied with the information then added, "I appreciate the QA on this, but how about the 'customer service?' Is there a replacement on the way? OR am I ever going to get an RMA so that I can order a replacement? I cannot go for weeks waiting to know when I can simply order ANOTHER unit from a different online company, get on with my work, and appropriately rate Surveillent's service." The reply from Surveillent was a threat: "On a separate note, did you continue to want help with this? We don’t appreciate your unprofessional comment or underlying threat or attempt of review bullying. Keeping that up will also get you submitted to BadCustomer.com which warns other sellers/dealers/online stores and blacklists you from online purchasing as a risky customer to work with. That being said keep it professional and stay patient while this is being investigated or this will be the end of communication."

I will never do business with this company again.

"This was the worst online shopping experience I've had in years. Placed an order on Sears.com website not seeing in fine print it was to fulfilled by Surveillent. Realized I had ordered the wrong item a few minutes later and emailed Sears to cancel. Never heard back. The item arrived a few days later and when I started the process of returning it to Surveillent the headaches started. They doubted that I tried to cancel the order. Finally agreed to a return with a 25%! restocking charge, all for a simple mistake (that Amazon, for example, would have solved with NO HASSLE). After threatening me with their legal department and saying they didn't know if they would even take the item back at all after I complained... I gave up. Their final words of advice were to try to sell it on EBay. Thanks Surveillent! Will never do business again."

"They were terrible with customer service. Now the product does not work and they still will not even ship the same product to me just a new one. The are very rude in their emails when they respond to you. They say things that a company should never say to a customer. BEWARE!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY Pay the extra dollar and get a company that actually cares about it's customers it's worth it trust me!"

"Placed order and didn't receive product for 2 weeks. Sent email asking for update. They asked for 1-2 days to respond. One week later I demanded to know that day if they had the product, if not I would cancel the order and find it elsewhere in a hurry now since they had put me off for 3 weeks. Got a foul email telling me the product was on national back order and I wouldn't find it anywhere else; they would get back to me in 1-2 days with an update. Minutes later, I made one phone call, found the product within an hour drive of my location, called to cancel the order and was told it had (miraculously) shipped that morning. I told them I had the product in hand and wanted a refund. They had the balls to ask me to return the local purchase and keep their late arriving item. It was a fabricated story anyway. I looked at the tracking info and found the pickup paperwork was filed that day but the item didn't ship until the following afternoon. Rude and arrogant ass in customer service too. Wouldn't buy anything from them ever again. "
