"Stay away! I bought 6 recycled toner cartridges for my HP printer, in order to get free shipping. First one printed very pale. I was told to try them all, and all were the same. They refused to consider them "defective" saying all recycled cartridges are more pale than brand ones--but I put in a recycled cartridge from supermediastore.com and it printed beautifully. They refuse to refund the cost of my shipping the box back to them. I've spent hours trying to resolve this. Grrrr."
"I've purchased several cartridges from SuppliesOutlet.com. I generally purchase the mulit-pack toner cartridges (all 4 colors)to save money, using each as needed. They used to be great and then in late 2012 I began getting bad cartridges. Even the "test pages" they sent with the shipment were bad and made it clear the cartridge did not work properly yet they shipped it anyway. They agreed to ship another but charged me for it saying they would credit my cc as soon as it was returned. I returned it but after 30 days no credit so I called. It took two calls and I then only got a partial refund.
The remaining two cartridges in the pack that I purchased also did not work - same with the replacement. They all printed about 1-200 pages before they began leaking toner all over the edges of the paper. But since it had not happened within the 30 day guarantee period they refused to exchange them, even though they were all still full.
My advice, buy your cartridges on Amazon (where I also found better prices). Even though they also have a 30 day return period the companies are much more willing to work with you to keep their customers happy - too many complaints and Amazon will kick them off. Also, Staples has a very liberal return policy."

"I ordered four cartridges which I installed into a brand new printer (these were the first cartridges that the printer ever had installed into it). ALL FOUR of the cartridges bled all over my pages and all through my machine. When I called for customer service they told me I had to send back all the cartridges before they would refund them. When I got upset; they hung up on me.
When I called back I was spoken to by a "Supervisor" who was belligerent. She started to tell me that being a business... So I interrupted her and said "means I should have had a back up?" She didn't say anything sounding dumbfounded. I told her that I had read reviews online and that this was clearly one of her immediate go-tos. She got very upset about that and told me that she didn't have to put up with abuse and swearing - I told her I hadn't sworn to her. She said "oh, you didn't, that's right". Now, this should tell you about what type of service that they provide when they immediately assume you will be swearing at them.

When I called for customer service they told me I had to send back all the cartridges before they would replace them. Not even HP does this! When I got upset; they hung up on me.
When I called back I was spoken to like I was in kindergarten and basically told that being a business women meant I should have had a back-up. when I told the supposed supervisor that this was my back-up she said oh well I guess you need to have a better plan next time. When I told her I would go online and give them a negative review she said so what, that is a really old threat that does not really do anything.

Ordered 4 replacement cartridges for my Samsung laser printer. They were not compatible so I had to ship them back for a refund. The compatibility issue was specifically that the crappy cartridges were not recognized by the printer. Supplies outlet (Melissa and Ally) ran me through several steps to return the useless cartridges, including asking me to confirm manufacturer warranty codes that were not on the cartridges. When I finally got through this they would only refund my costs for 1 cartridge, claiming that the "warehouse" weighed them and the others were empty. Poor company, poor customer service, and useless cartridges."

"For years, I've used another supplier for Xerox-compatible ink sticks for our Phaser 8560MFP unit, and have had a good relationship. Supplies Outlet caught my eye because their prices for a 4-color 12-stick set were far below my existing supplier's.
To find out why, I asked who the backing manufacturer was, and they would not tell me, but said their ink was "authorized". The reps don't know much, so I had to talk to the customer service manager, who did in fact know something about ink manufacturers (for which she deserves some credit).
When I asked my current supplier to speculate why Supplies Outlet would be priced much lower, they had no idea. So, with the intent of ordering, I called back Supplies Outlet with one last question: what happens if the ink I buy damages my printer? (Some years ago, my current ink supplier paid for a tech to come fix it at no small cost.) The customer service manager became cagey and accused me of being some other company doing market research (insane considering the details I provided), then finally admitted that they only would replace the product with more of the same, i.e. if it damages your printer, they'll only give you more to damage your other printers with, I guess.
I'm sticking with my current ink supplier, and have put SuppliesOutlet.com on my list to NEVER purchase from."
"I recently came accross Suppliesoutlet.com and thought "Hey, it's WAY cheaper than anywhere else." I created an account, and happily started shopping. I found everything I was looking for an quite easily too. JOKES ON ME.
Once I proceeded to the checkout, put in all the information and submitted it, a caution sign popped up at the top stating "Please fill in email address field." There was no place for an email address. I checked, and checked, and resubmitted, and resubmitted, and that stupid caution sign kept popping up and saying the same thing. "I ordered a "value" bundle of toner cartridges for my Brother HL-4070CDW laser printer. This contained one each of magenta, cyan, yellow and black cartridges. In using these:
- The cyan cartridge leaked after a short use period. Toner all over the iside of the printer.
- After an equivalent short use period, the magenta cartridge started giving varying tones of color and made the color function of the printer worthless.
In both cases, I replaced the offending cartridge with a new Brother brand name cartridge and my printing was restored to perfect levels.
I will not be ordering anything from this company again.
