"Ordered Quiksilver sunglasses on Sept. 24, 2008, did not get a shipping confirmation until Oct. 16, 2008. Sent them numerous e-mails on the status of my order. No reply at all. Finally got my sunglasses and didn't like it. Tried to get a authorization number for return through there e-mail and once again no response. I sent them at least 10 e-mails for authorization number. There is no business phone number posted on there website. I filed a complaint through Better Business Bureau website and I finally got a call from Sunglasses Giant for my authorization return number. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE."

"I was very disappointed to discover that the sunglasses I ordered from Sunglass Giant had a price tag of $12.00 on them when they were delivered when I paid $15.00 for them at Sunglass Giant. I feel ripped off, and laugh at Sunglass Giant's claim of being a discount sunglass company."

"I recently tried to make 2 different purchases from sunglasses giant, and after weeks of delays, both orders were cancelled. My first order was for a pair of serengeti vedi sunglasses which I waited a week to find out that they were out of stock. I then proceeded to order a pair of Oakley Whisker sunglasses, and after 2 weeks of waiting and delays, my order was also cancelled because they apparently could not get stock of this item and it was sold out. This whole process has taken me 3 weeks and I'm still without sunglasses. I would highly recommend NOT ordering anything from this store, it is very unreliable. I have tried to work with them and asked them to let me know what they do have in stock but I have not received a response. Their prices are good but if you can't get the product then I guess it doesn't really matter what price they advertise."

"On June 30, 2008 I ordered a pair of sunglasses from Sunglasses Giant. On July 1, 2008 I received an email from them saying, "...this item is temporarily out of stock. We have, however, requested an urgent reorder for this item and expect to have it back in stock soon."

When I had not received the sunglasses or any communication from them by July 9, I sent them an email saying that if they could not guarantee that I would have the sunglasses by July 14 (2 weeks after the original order), then I wanted to cancel the order.

I checked their website and discovered that they are still selling the sunglasses that I ordered; there is no mention on their website that the sunglasses are out of stock.

On July 11 I received an email from Sunglasses Giant saying, "Thank you for your email. I am sorry that we were unable to accommodate you at this time. Your order has been cancelled per your request. Your credit card has not been charged. Thank you for your business. Have a nice day!"

The fact that they are still selling out-of-stock sunglasses makes Sunglasses Giant sound like a highly disreputable business, perhaps a business that is running a ponzi scheme.

I STRONGLY advise everyone NOT to do business with Sunglasses Giant.

I ordered from them and the product was processed the next day and arrived a few days later using their standard free shipping which was very nice.

The shipping protection was adequate, and the box was small enough to stuff in our mailbox.

I immediately placed second order and next day sent e-mail to cancel 1st order if in fact it went through. I received 1st order and charge the next day. Having heard nothing further for over a week I thought all was well. Then a second charge on VISA appeared a week later as well as a second order arrived. A second e-mail was sent immediately with no reponse in over a week. They explicitly state they will only repsond to e-mails.
