Crooks!!

"Ordered a book on 8/26 and paid extra for the 2 days shipping because I needed the book asap...the day I was supposed to receive the book they emailed me that it was on backorder and won't be available till 5 business days...when I threaten to cancel my order, conveniently, the book shipped out...now I won't receive it till 9/6 and when asked for a refund for the extra money I paid I got a "sorry, can't refund you anything" even though I did not get what they promised which was 2 day shipping....so what these crooks do is charge you extra for fast shipping but ship it standard."

I would buy from again

"I am writing this from the UK.
The UK Studica is under new management and i actually believe the old office has actually shut down and a new Studica Europe has opened and the customer service is brilliant. They have really done a full U turn and have seemed to listen to all the bad reviews and done something about it.

I would order from them again and defiantly recommend them, I ordered my product and it was next day delivery. With this i then ordered a bigger order which yes some products were out of stock but with a weeks wait the items were being delivered.

Waited for over a month and then they cancelled the order

"Ordered on the 29th April. Asked where my order was after 2 weeks, they said it was back ordered and should be in "this week". More than a month later, no replies to my emails, then after a final message from me through the website, I received an cancellation email: "Item unavailable".

So they basically kept my money for 5 weeks. Avoid this company.

It's the customer service issue

"I cannot give review in regards to their actual service as of yet, this is in response the the RUDE customer service I received over the phone from a "Robin". A product I purchased was not processed for a LONG period of time, nor was I notified that they were unable to open a file I sent them for verification. I could have sat for who knows how long without even knowing they had an issues I could fix by re sending the file. Bottom line however, was how I was treated on the phone by their representative. Horrible."

"I tried ordering a 3d printer from them only to be told that they "made a shipping mistake" and sent it to the wrong place and that they would deliver it within a week, its been a month now and I still don't have the product I paid for! They seem to sell goods they don't actually have in stock! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

I think everything they said to me over the cellphone has been a lie !

"Im sure they are fine if they happen do get things right first time but dont expect to get any customer service of any kind, very slow to respond, if they bother at all, and if they do expect very poor communication and dont expect to get a satisfactory resolution."

"Same story as most of the other reviewers: ordered an item, in my case a Cintiq 13HD (that was not labeled as Out of Stock or anything to indicate they did not have it), only to hear nothing for 2 days, email them, have them tell me it will maybe be a week before its in stock, and then say "sorry."

I had them cancel the order.

They are one of the least professional companies I've dealt with online, which seems like a stretch, but its true.

"Bought (and paid for) a web design program (the download version) from them. Got the registry key and activated the software. After 2 weeks, I got a message from the software company saying I was on a free trial, and my registry key no longer worked. When I tried to call in to Studica, I was told by the manager that the registry key probably was no longer working because Studica had not paid the supplier yet ! She actually said this ! She also said the only thing she could do was what I could do which was contact the software company, which I already had done without results. When I challenged her on this and said that I had paid Studica my money and expected them to take responsibility for the problem, she told me I was annoying her. I then demanded to speak to her manager, and got put into a voicemail for someone called Jeff, who was supposedly the GM, and who didn't call me back. I called back and spoke to yet another manager (who claimed to be the product manager for the company)...he got on the phone and immediately adopted an extremely aggressive attitude, didn't let me get in a single word edgewise, and HE chewed ME out for having the audacity to not enjoy being told I was annoying by a manager of a company I paid hard earned money to, and for actually want a working copy of the software that I paid for. "What is it you want from us, should someone come over their personally and install the software?". They did refund the money, but the words "slack, arrogant, obnoxious" come to mind to describe their corporate culture over there. I almost half expected Ashton Kutcher to come running out from hiding telling me I was on an episode of Punkd. Alternatively, the Monty Python skit about the parrot comes to mind. Judging by the avalanche of negative reviews on this site, I'd say its a fair bet my experience with them was not an anomaly. BTW, I'm in the middle of a project, and this is putting a huge crimp in my shorts right now, as I now have to go re-create an entire week's worth of work.

"I purchased the XYZ 3D printer and only realized after the purchase that you can not return it. They ask me to take it up with the manufacturer.

I basically have a 3d printer paperweight. I feel like I got scammed!

THIS MACHINE IS NOT A CONSUMER DEVICE!!! DO NOT EXPECT TO PLUG IN AND PRINT A .STL FILE WITHOUT HOURS OF TINKERING. SOFTWARE CRASHES ON WIN 7 AND WIN 8.1. HEATED BED OUT OF ALIGNMENT. AFTER 3 HOURS ATTEMPTING TO ALIGN STILL THE SAME.

"DO not do business with this company. I have never had such awful customer support. I ordered a product on the 09 January. I heard from a different source that the product was no longer available. I had to contact studica to ask about my order (1 week after ordering) and the sales person confirmed that the product ordered had been unavailable for months. (Why did they take almost £500 for the unavailable software?) I then found and purchased a previous edition of the product from a different supplier. Before I had time to activate that earlier edition, a salesperson from Studica called to tell me that my product had become available and it was with a courier en route to me. He said I would be charged if I or any of my neighbors signed for the parcel. I didn't have the money in my account for both products so I quickly returned the earlier edition. I didn't receive any delivery from studica. I waited 2 weeks. When I called Studica, the customer service representative on the phone told me that the last copies of the software had gone out by courier and because I didn't pay for my over the phone, my order had been cancelled and the product was now permanently unavailable. So 2 months on, I have no copies of the software, and have paid return postage to a different company. Studica has offered no more than a verbal apology. I told the customer service rep I'd be making a complaint in any form I could and she just answered there was nothing they could do to help. I wish I had gone to any other company. What a waste of time and money. "

"dont work with studica!


i ordered unity software for my school in early december 2013. End of December the order was marked as "shipped". When asking for tracking or details in January 2014 they told me the order never really shipped and there was a problem with unity. So i ask them to get a refund for the money already paid. for 6 weeks now studica is unable to provide a proof for refunding the money. all i get is excuses and the promise to track the refund within the company
its finally time to ask a lawyer to take care of it since i dont get the feeling the problem will be resolved anytime soon.
