"A very easy site to navigate and find what I needed. Price very reasonable as well, even when compared to Ebay and Amazon. Tracking was basically done for me with regular updates and delivery was timely. Studica.com will definitely be my go to site in the future."

"If I order online I want to deal with a company that's been around and knows their stuff. Studica has been such a company for me as they've been in business for over 25 years and have a solid track record. They know education products for students, teachers and schools. They have a vast array of brands that are available with great savings. I just got my Pro Tools 10 upgrade at a great price. Can't wait to try the new features. I am certain Studica will be around for a long time.

"First time I ordered from this store. I wanted to order some Fischertechnik and wasnt sure if I needed to send in some proof of being in college or something (which I am not), they never responded.

I ordered anyway since the prices were so low - Less than half of what amazon offered.

Just for offering the wide range of Fischertechnik products it should get a lot of credit.

I pleced the ordered, received a confirmation # and the order arrived 2 days later.

I will certainly order from them again. I read the other reviews, and I was a little surprised that a lot of people think they can open software and then return it.

"have ordered twice from this company - no problems. Some of the stuff I have seen written on here needs to be corrected - I always use review sites and it annoys me when people don't take the time to read a company's procedures or ask the correct questions.
1. The returns policy is NOT Studicas - if you but direct from Adobe they will not accept the item back if it is opened - software piracy etc. I returned a Steinberg item and got it swapped.

"Advised shipped on 21 December with expected delivery on 24 December. E-mailed them on 27 Dec to advise not yet arrived. No response (Christmas holidays?)Phoned them on 29 Dec - spoke to Laura who told me that the package had "gone missing" with their delivery agents, but that a replacement would be sent out on 4th January. On 8th January still no sign of the replacement, and their 0800 number was being answered with a message that they are too busy with other callers to take calls. Eventually got through - staff delayed in reaching office by snow. Deliveries being delayed by weather.....spoke to manager who cancelled order in view of my "unreasonable" attitude, apparently!
I have now ordered directly from Adobe, which is probably what I should have done in the first place. Adobe Ireland mailed the items on 11th January, using UPS, and they arrived here on 12th January!
Studica has a long way to go in the service department, although when I did eventually reach two members of staff, Kay and Laura, both were polite, but never did get back with the tracking number for the replacement package supposedly sent on the 4th January. When Adobe itself offers such efficient service I am not sure why anyone would want to use Studica having experienced both service levels within a week or so of each other.

"Well, I was unsure if I should order from this website or not, since I saw the rating of the seller. But for the price of the item (academic price) I had to try to take a chance. I emailed them a question about the product and they responded the same day, within a couple hours. They shipped this order pretty quickly, sent it UPS ground. I ordered from them again and they listed the order as being shipped but after two days without getting a tracking number, I emailed them about the tracking number. They then sent me a UPS tracking number for 2 day air. I guess they did not ship the second order when they said, but when they did ship it out, they sent it out 2 day air instead of ground, so that was nice. So far, I do not see any issues with my two experiences with them. I would go back and order from them again."

"Ordering non-profit software from Studica is a very positive experience. Our Buddhist temple ordered the Adobe CS3 Premium Mac from Studica. Lance Zurek was very professional and communicative. I was kept in the loop during the entire process of working with Adobe on ordering media, acquiring license, and shipping the media.

We'll shop in Studica again if we need more software in the future.

"Great service! I just ordered Pro Tools and aan MAudio keyboard from them last week. I sent in my student ID as requested (I was able to upload it which was convenient to boot). "Studica.com Review

Be aware of their long delivery time (8 days in my case) and their awful return policy! If you buy anything from Studica.com and want to return it, it has to be UNOPENED! This is terrible when you're buying computer stuff and you need to test it to make sure it works the way it's supposed to. I bought the Matrox TrippleHead2Go Analog device. When it didn't work the way I thought it would, too bad. They say there's nothing they can do for you. They litterally transfered my support call to Matrox's support center without telling me they where doing so. I began receiving instructions in French and didn't know what was going on. So, I hung up and called them again.

I buy a lot of computer stuff online. When I get something that doesn't work the way it's supposed to I am usually able to get a FULL refund. But not with Studica! They gave me the 'there's nothing we can do' speech and 'our policy' doesn't allow us to do that. A bunch of crap in my opinion. They created their policy, the government or some other entity didn't force them to make it that way. They acted as if they couldn't believe I would even think about asking to return an opened product. They created the parameters in which they do business and could be a lot more customer centered. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM STUDICA.COM AGAIN!

Take this into an account before you buy from them.

"yesterday I ordered Adobe Creative Suite 3 from Studica and 24 hours later it was delivered (free shipping) WOW - that's quick! I spoke with a service rep who was very helpful. Their notification of every step by e-mail was done well.
