Mis leading web site

never again

"Long story short version. I placed an order on March 26, didn't get order until April 20, they send the wrong set. Afetr weeks of back and forth requested a refund and return shipper.. Finally received refund on May 16 after never getting correct product shipped."

STAY AWAY

"Like others said, garbage product. Doesn't fit right, but you have to cut it to even find that out, so then you are out of luck. Sounds like maybe they are running a scam, knowing the product is garbage, won't refund you, will sell you another "at cost" that works. Shameful. Too expensive to be messing around with. I would STAY AWAY."

absolute garbage

"this carpet is supposed to be molded, BS. I can't even get it to lay down on the hump AFTER cutting. I only gave them one star because they don't have negative stars. I will now be reinstalling my old carpet and this pos will go in the trash. Wasted way too much time trying to install this, I need my truck assembled. I will never buy anything from this place again"

Product quality and terrible customer service

"I purchased almost $1,000 worth of carpets, custom mats, and bulk carpet from Stock Interiors over the past year for my 1963 Cadillac.

The molded carpets from Auto Custom Carpets aren't the best fit to put it mildly. But the biggest issue is that I ran out of carpet while doing my door cards and needed one additional yard of carpet. They wouldn't sell it to me, so now I have a 95% finished interior!

I contacted Auto Custom Carpets directly and they also said "too bad". So take my advice and avoid Stock Interiors/Auto Custom Carpets at all costs. Otherwise you may end up in my situation where I either rip out my entire interior and start again, or try to patch together a few scrap pieces of carpet to finish my car.

Talk about poor customer service...

DON'T ORDER THIS CRAP, SAVE YOUR MONEY

"Carpet for our 65 Cadillac Deville came Black instead of the brown we ordered. It is cut so poorly the sides are inches short. The grey underlay had be glued to the top of the carpet then pulled off leaving glue and fiber residue that can't be removed. Returning this item is costly and seems the company knows this. Their mistake, and we are left with garbage. "

Received high quality carpet

"I ordered a molded carpet piece for my 89 Toyota pickup. It arrived quickly and was very good quality. As we installed it, we kept having to stretch it (which I would think is normal) my only small suggestion is that they would have given about 3/4 of an inch more carpet on the sides. NO matter how careful we were, on the passenger side, we had to use a spray adhesive before putting the side panels on. The carpet was slightly short on that one side because of the plastic casing that the wires went into."

Bad customer service

"I called to place an order and the person woman who answered was very rude I was trying to explain to her that when I clicked on the model of my car that only numbers showed up and she proceeded to yell at me and then hung up I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE BECAUSE OF RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE"

08 f450 vynil floor

"Bought a floor for our f450 crew. Came in medium sized box folded like a tent. Took a heat gun and 10 60lb bags of concrete to get it to lay down. Still fighting with accelerator pedal not moving full range. Have done several from other sellers. Hardest install by far. So oversized you have to cut just to get it started. Then its too late. Site says almost 5 star rating but all reviews outside of their site say the same.....beware!"

"I have bought floor mats from this company. I am not a satisfied customer. I am very disappointed with the company. I purchased floor mats in good faith, relying upon their representations that the floor mats "are custom made to fit your Ford Thunderbird floor pan" . This was false advertising. They sent me floor mats for my car that are nowhere close to original size and shape of the original factory floor mats. As requested by ACC , I sent in pictures evidencing the very obvious differences between the ACC mats and the Ford factory mats. The ACC mats are too small and do not provided the protection of the molded carpeting in the car as intended.


Then to make matters worse, ACC makes me an offer to return the mats at my costs for shipping and a 25% restocking fee. I did nothing here with this purchase that deserves that I be charged for ACC's poor quality product. I wanted to return the mats because the mats don;t fit my car as advertised by ACC. I did not wrong with this transaction to be burden with shipping costs back to ACC and a "restocking" fee.


If their "strict" policy is to now own to your mistakes, and charge the customers for their mistakes, the I am dealing with the wrong type of company.

terrible fit ......

"front carpet on my 53 packard was not even close.....started to install ..carpet was not cut right ......i was told being i started to install they washed their hands of it......you are better off making one out of carpet from Home Depot......if you want something ickey...buy it...i called to let them know what happened and to no avail stay away......... "

Not even close.

"Purchased a full kit for my pickup. Over the phone they stated, "Its a perfect fit." Not only did it not fit properly, (3-4 inches short) there were missing components to properly install. Very poor material quality as well. Very difficult to deal with over the phone.
Better off working with a local to install a quality made product.

DISAPPOINTED

"Purchased a headliner with a sunroof opening. Perhaps a headliner without the cutout for the sunroof would be a good fit but it certainly isn't with the opening. The surround of the opening area sags. I contacted Stock Interiors and they suggested using velcro. A velcro kit isn't cheap, but I purchased one anyways. Because of the poor fit, to push areas into the proper place, there is too much pressure and therefore some areas would not stay in place. I then used contact cement - same issue. As a result, I had to resort to using screws in a couple areas which aesthetically, obviously is not an ideal solution."

QUALITY ****

"I order carpet for a el camino , received it 8 days latter , front piece passenger side shorter than the driver side, the sewed trim crooked. the second piece the bottom was glued with the carpet not flat so there were bulges, had to remove all the backing and heat the bulges to make it flat this company is CRAP. no quality control."
