Not really!

"It became obvious the next day after installing my vinyl flooring that Stock Interiors not only custom selects the reviews on their site but that they may even be fake with an average 4.8 rating!

First off, custom molded? Yeah right! It should be dead obvious if the molds on vinyl this thick are custom molded, especially when ordered in October. The only reason I didn't send it back is because I already kept it for a month before I could find time to install and it took a while to get to me initially and also, it seems everyone sells this same product which is actually made by ACC.

I think my floor looks pretty good (considering) in the end but it took an extreme amount of beating and HEATING into submission and very lucky cutting. There was wayyyy more flooring than necessary for a 'custom vinyl floor molded to your floor pan'! I also didn't focus too much on the part under the seat, since it would not be seen anyway although, thatv was the only part that was 'molded'.

Is the vinyl itself thick and appear to be of good quality? Sure! But that is the only good thing I have to say about this product.

Too heavy a product for a good fit.

"The material is thick and probably of good quality but the fit is terrible. I put this in a 79 Bronco. The back fit great and I was so happy but the front didn't fit anywhere. I had to run a salamander heater on it just to get it to kind of lay in there. $300 bucks down the drain. So dissappointed."

Do yourself a favor and go with another company

"Carpet sent was way too short in driver footwell. Being nice on my end, I asked them to send some remnant material to patch it in rather than try to warranty the entire kit. So much for that. Would not send a 10" piece on their dime and then wanted to charge me $60 instead.

Overall, what they sent was far below the quality of OEM even though I bought the premium cut pile. The molding did not match up either.

You get what you pay for so don't fall for the cheap prices unless you are fixing up an old beater that no one cares about or how long the carpet will last. Go somewhere else.

You get what you pay for.

"So I'll start off by saying what's in the title. If you are looking for ready-made interiors that you can just drop right in without much effort, this is not the place. As you've probably noticed, they're about half the price of most other companies (at least that was true for my particular car, 1983 Porsche 944). The next cheapest company I could find was Auto Custom Carpets... which conveniently, the box that was shipped to me from stockinteriors was branded with the ACC logo. My thought is that these are the off-cuts from ACC.
From start to finish I probably put about 10-15 hours worth of time into replacing my carpet, and that's without any prior experience doing so. As far as tools go, all I needed was a pair of strong scissors, some glue, a staple gun, and snap fastener tool. The carpet was definitely molded, albeit not so well in some areas.. again, you get what you pay for. I had to trim almost all of the edges due to it being a bit too large, but I'd rather have too much than too little material.
Overall, based on the reviews on this site I was a little bit worried, but overall I'm pleased with the product.

Product not as described, horrible refund policy too

"I ordered carpet for my crew cab Superduty, it was described as molded and I added the Mass Backing too. They try to upsell the shipping as well, when the product actually leaves the warehouse in less than 5 days. The carpet arrived and was over sized incredibly and completely flat.

I called and advised that the carpet was not molded and was not even close to being correct. I was asked to take pictures and if I wanted to exchange. I thought yes, I'll exchange and I was advised that each carpet is custom cut upon order, this made me rethink the exchange, as this meant they have no idea of how to mold vice accidentally shipping the wrong item.

I had to pay the return shipping as well, and then they charge a 25% restock fee for errors that are 100% their fault.

Save your money and buy OEM.

A $286 purchase that included shipping (carpet was $228), then I paid $67 to send it back, and the refund was $181.

Wish I spent more time reading that they ****.

Only $125 lost in total, I guess I could just think I had an expensive dinner that I don't remember!

Crap!

"First off wasn't molded right. Second messed up a bunch of my stuff trying to get it in the truck. Wasted $150.00 and 2 days worth of my time. Do not mess with this place. "

Car carpet issues

"Bought a car carpet for 64 Galaxie from Stock interiors. Out of the box, the loops in the carpet had some snags. Since my carpet came in two pieces , the front piece fit pretty good and went in quickly. Eventhough the carpet was “molded “, not all of impressions on the floor pan were molded into carpet. Having to spend alot of time to work and glue the carpet to have it fit good has been a hassle. So far it looks pretty good. The color is what I ordered. I sent a negative review to Stock interiors a couple months ago, they never posted it. That’s why they only have 4.5-5 ratings. They won’t post negative ones. "

Headliner for 1997 Dodge Ram

"They advertise 3 day shipping. Bullpucky! I waited six weeks for mine. I called and called, kept getting the runaround. Finally came by boat from China (they make you believe they have it in inventory) I installed it and it fit ok. Within 3 months the cloth started sagging. I called and talked to “customer service” and they said that wasn’t covered in the warranty! Lifetime on board, and 1 year on clothe. But sagging is not warrantied. They didn’t glue it with the correct heat resistant glue made for headliners, but that’s my problem F-"

Be Extra Cautious Before Buying

"Had eight samples of carpet sent along with two headliner samples. Color I wanted wasn't even listed for my vehicle. Found out later they could have ordered it from another company. Not disclosed. I think they try to sell ACC carpet since that seems to be what they showed for my vehicle.
Customer service agents seem like they can't get off the phone quick enough when I did call and were not courteous. Basically, customer no service.
Ordered door panels which were cut wrong around the vent on the RH side. Also ordered headliner that their site said was a match for the carpet I selected. WAY TO DARK.
Returns are at your expense along with a 25% restocking fee.
Carpet quality leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe their premium carpet is better but standard is VERY thin.
I have yet to install as I'm waiting for work to be done on interior first. Can only HOPE it fits right.
All in all not happy with my buying experience.
You've been warned!
Will find a local dealer in the future to avoid the headaches!

Replacement carpet at its worst.

"Carpet was not molded as advertised, underneath jute was not put in the correct area and the heel pad was located to far the right. Plus the carpet was not carpet but yarn. The cheap stuff they put in the low end model cars. Customer service ignored one of the emails I sent and the other one they only answered two of the many questions I had asked. They basically said return if you don’t like it. We don’t care. "

Incorrect carpet kit sent, not willing to refund or send replacement

"I don't understand where all the great reviews on their website are coming from because these guys are a joke. I ordered a carpet kit early of last year, granted the carpet kit sat for some time while the rest of the restoration was being completed but time doesnt change the fact that the wrong carpet kit was mailed out. They offered me $30 off another carpet kit but beyond that unwilling to help. Stick with ACC or someone else, you'll be much happier "

Got burnt on their incompetence

"I ordered carpet for my frame-off, nut and bolt restoration on my Chevelle. When the carpet arrived, we followed instructions by cutting out the outline on the backing pad. When attempting to install, it was determined that they sent me one designed for a 4-speed, rather than the automatic. "Tabitha" confirmed that I ordered the automatic, and stated it was not their fault, and said it was our mistake! I sent her pictures to no avail.

Now, I am convinced they alter the fabulous reviews on their website! They are all glorious! In my opinion, this place is a pass-thru sham.

Today, I bought a better carpet for less money from George Sheets at Aardvark Motors, LLC.

Cheapskatez

"I thought because it was a local company they would be reputable custom carpet Etc this material can be had at Home Depot for $18 454 square feet you can add the jute backing for almost nothing and you will not be 10 in short like I was on my custom fit crap they did not make it good they did not help me out as I expected from my local neighbor company this is junk go to Home Depot get the cheap junk for $18 don't spend a hundred forty-four they will rip you off"

Another internet con artist.

"Checked their color chart and ordered the carpet for my vehicle. Easy, right? Wrong! Big mistake!
Their color chart is only off, it is unusable. Do not even think of ordering from them without getting samples. Even the samples are not true original color.
So you get your carpet that you thought was going to be a nice subdued beige. Open the box and it is bright orange. Like that red headed kid in grade school. At least the kids hair calms down as he gets older.
Call company and they say they will send samples. Wait 10 days and get 3 samples. Read bottom of letter that came with them. I get to pay return freight and 25% restocking charge plus freight back to me of the new one.
Now I have just paid the freight to me of $24, I have to pay the freight twice more that brings it up to $72, plus I have the 25% restocking fee of $32. That makes $104 charges on a $123 carpet. If I had known what I was dealing with, I could have had an upgraded carpet, delivered right the first time, for the money.
My advice? Stay far away from these guys as you can. Go for a better grade carpet with a better grade company. This carpet looks like it is made by forming indoor/outdoor carpet.

Nice quality and fit with some problems

"I ordered the color samples and decided on charcoal in the upgrade carpet. The carpet is plush, looks great, heavy duty and fit good. I added the mass back and jute pad was added. The mass back didn't cover all like the original and pad covered everything, no cutouts like stock. Cutting was difficult in some areas going through 3 layers but that wasn't my complaint. Heel pads were added that i'm not happy with. They weren't ironed on properly and are looking bad. The color of the pads is a glossy black that doesn't match my flat black trim and charcoal carpet. If they would have matched the color, the bad placement probably wouldn't look so bad. The cheap glossy pad scratched within 2 days. I bought some rubber mats to cover up but the black mats have a different sheen and don't completely cover the pads. I decided to order the matching floor mats to hopefully cover it up. "
