"Purchased 128MB RAMBUS RIMM. Shipped quickly, excellent price and free UPS Ground. "Major Brand" turned out to be NEC, worked flawlessly. Very happy with transaction."
"got old open abit TH7II board with no clip, and called them and they say that was last board and yes it should have clip but since it did not I was SOL. I will never do business with them again"
"Good price on a 64MB dimm, until shipping was added. Needed it pronto, so went ahead and made the purchase. Shipping for a $10 dimm was an additional $10 [UPS Ground]. Will not purchase from again simply because this is a practice I do not endorse, and it took 2 days to process my order, taking more than a week to receive it [about average, but not for the cost I paid for shipping]."
"Bought a 32Mb PCI Raedon from them on 4/2/2002. Shipped quickly, packaged well, but was a dead board. Called ***-***-****) and explained the problem, got an RMA (valid for 3 business days). Shipped it back (FedEX) and heard nothing for 2 weeks. Called and was told that it was in fact dead, and they would ship a new one. I told them forget it, and they offered to refund my money. We'll see if that ever happens (they said within 48 hours). While they seemed rather friendly and professional over the phone (unlike some previous customer experiences posted here), I wouldn't recommend them. I have bought many components from places like newegg.com, directron.com, etc and never gotten a dead one. Just goes to show you, you may save yourself a few bucks by buying through a cheaper company like this, but you'll save yourself much more time, effort, frustration (not to mention shipping costs!) if you buy from a real store. READ THE RESELLER RATING COMMENTS before you buy. Keep in mind ANY store may have a few unhappy customers, but if more than 3 out of 10 had bad experiences, you probably will too! For others here who had trouble contacting AC Micro, use the long distance number ***-***-****) between 11-4 weekdays. I seemed to get through fine that way."
"Purchased a notebook HDD (IBM) that arrived defective, according to IBM the noise the drive was making was a bad head. It should be noted that the drive was not packaged adequately, basically wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap in a static sleeve in a small box.
Contacted ACMicro within 24hours of receiving the item telling it was bad, both in email and on phone. Was given an RMA number (reluctantly) that was good for only 3 business days! I rush shipped back the drive to them and have confirmation it arrived from Fedex. I left a message asking if it arrived in good condition and have not heard back.
They have a 20% diagnostic fee I would have to pay if the drive was found good. I requested specific details of what the tech would test and his report and was ignored.
Have been unable to get any response to my last 5 emails and 2 phone messages. Don’t know what they have done or intend to do.
Would not do business with this company again.

"DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY (if you can call it that). I purchased some memory for a customer. When it arrived it was DEAD. Tried it in two different systems(pc100) and neither system would boot. Carried it to another tech just to make sure it was dead. It was. Called AC Micro, got a RMA number and sent it back asking for replacement, THEY replied it was good and it worked in all three of THEIR test boards. I disagreed with them and they said ..SORRY, and charged me a 20% restocking fee. Probally going to resell the dead stick to someone else and stick it to them also.
WISH I had read the rating from this site FIRST !!
Lesson LEARNED the hard way."
