"They sold me used hard drive as new. The drive was also not working properly (DOA) and staliontek (acmicro) refused to replace it.

"Couple months after I have installed the DDR registered memories that I’ve purchased from ACMicro, my computer start to stop responding due a hardware incompatibility. I have replaced and tested all the hardware and I’ve reinstalled the XP four times without any luck. After spending couple months I’ve purchased a program (Gold memory) to test the memories and finally I have discovered that all the problems were coursed by the memories. I sent at least ten e-mails to ACMicro in order to figure out if my memories are still in warranty (no warranty specified on the invoice) but I haven’t received any answer. "

"I ordered PC-2700 DDR 333MHz RAM for one of my largest customers and I just opened the box and notice that it is marked "IBM - PC2100" with a FRU # of 10K0070. Now I'm worried that this memory is going to cause compatibility issues Monday morning when I need it. Tried calling today several times and the phone simply rings with no answer.
***As it turns out I tried the memory in a new Dell 4600 and it immediately failed on the POST! The memory that I ordered and paid for WAS NOT what they shipped me and now, as I suspected I'm stuck with a GIG of PC2100 memory. I WILL NEVER buy from these crooks again and anyone who does is foolish, after all just look at their ratings! I had hoped things would be better because I was eager to find a "local" supply house for my customers, but these guys ARE NOT it!

"Well, I ordered some RAM (1GB PC2100) from AC Micro. I phoned in the order and specifically asked of the RAM was Samsung. The man replied yes, so I completed the order. I didn't receive a confirmation e-mail but i think the e-mail address was received wrong on the other end of the phone. I was surprised to see the RAM had arrived 2 days after my order. Very nice, however it was not Samsung as I had asked. I tried it out and it did not work. Inspecting the RAM I noticed a surface mount resistor was missing (well broken sideways). I e-mailed AC micro and described the problem and the fact that it was not Samsung. They asked for an image of the damage, so I sent one, and requested either a refund or replacement Samsung RAM. They said they had one Samsung in stock and provided me with an RMA number. I shipped it back on Wednesday and received the replacement Friday. Very nice turn around. The replacement was indeed Samsung and did work."

"Buyer beware! This company sent me a defective batch of ram. They told me to return it for refund, which I did. After months of no response to my inquires they claimed I would only be entitled to a store credit, however I can only use the credit on one order. Any idea how hard it is to find a combination of products that equals exactly $106.00. What a scam. I wonder how many times they sold the same bad batch of memory to unsuspecting victims."

"Ordered a Celeron oem CPU because the price was good and Free shipping. Got it next day . Opened package. CPU was just in bubble wrap. Inspected chip and foud three bent prongs right off the bat. Called immediately, guy said they were not available and took my name and number. I called again same day, got same thing again. Sent them email same day and no response yet as of July 12. I happened to stumble across resellers ratings and looked them up. Now I know why I am getting no response - junk company! I run a small business that can't afford to have equipment down so I purchased from NewEGG same day I couldn't get hold of anyone from ACMicro. Have that chip installed and up and running already. PEOPLE BELIEVE THE RATINGS HERE!!! I wish I would have known about this site before dealing with this poor excuse for a company."

"Ordering from the merchants website was fairly straightforward. Placed order on Saturday, package arrived on Wednesday (FedEx Ground – Merchant is approx. 70 miles from my residence. Delivery time may not be typical). The shipping container used for shipping the item was very good. Over all, the merchant delivered what was promised in a quick and timely manor. "Fair prices and free shipping, but I thought the customer service policies are horrible. Absolute refusal to accomodate customers. A ridiculous restocking fee, why would you charge 20% just to put an unopened package back on the shelf? I even agreed to spend more money than the return on an exchange if they would wave the restocking fee, but would not bend on the SUBJECT to fee. SUBJECT does not mean absolute. Lost any future business from me and I order computer hardware a few times a week.

"I ordered a PIII-650 + HS/FAN for an older motherboard upgrade. These guys are only about 100 miles away, so it was no surprise that it arrived the next day. They weren't the lowest priced on PriceWatch, but I didn't have to wait for it to ship from CA either.
