"I am so frustrated with Spirit Halloween, I believe this is the worst reseller I have ever dealt with. I placed three orders with them, not a single one will they be able to ship because as I was told - they sold me items that were not in their inventory anymore. Every time I called to check on my "processing order" I was told it will ship soon... Yeah right, two weeks later, Halloween long past I spoke to a supervisor who apologized and said that "yes, the system made errors, we are sorry". Sorry is nice, but three orders and not a single item can be shipped, give me a break, how can that happen??"

Horrible

"I wish I had read the review before I shopped here. This company's policies and customer service is horrible. They continued to charge my account for almost 2 months double for a item. I was given a promise date for the item of 10/02 and the order was cancelled on 10/09. I never received the item. My order was cancelled after the money was reserved for the item twice. Overall, I never received the item after this company reserved money from my account every seven days for almost two months. I was told by an associate that there is nothing the company can do, after such a bad experience"

Horrible business.

"They held my order as a pending charge in my bank account for over a month. They sent half of my order (Halloween wig and accessory to go with costume for my 7 year old daughter) in pieces. I called after waiting for a month for the remainder of my order (the actual costume) and customer service told me it would arrive on Oct. 5th and that the funds were already taken out of my account that I didn't need to worry. They cancelled my order on Oct 12th at 3:45am PST after over a month of waiting. They lied to me and told me I had insufficient funds in my account which is not true. I proceeded to tell management the day the order was cancelled I wanted to buy the costume, I had already got my daughter very excited and I had the wig and one accessory that goes with the costume. Management told me they were all sold out and that there was nothing they could do. The whole thing seemed kind of fishy that they decided to ship my order at that time a day supposedly and had sold another one that fast. I called withing a few hours of the order being cancelled.The manager seemed put out by my call and could care less about my situation. He told me I could return the items at my expense of shipping. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. My daughter is crushed and I am forced to scramble to get her another costume. The costume and accessories were no cheap, it was $104.00 in total. "

2 orders 2 problems

"I did the first order on oct 23, where I bought my husband and my costume.
A day after, I ask for the overnight shipping (almost 40$) when I opened the box I being really sad, just my acessories and my husband costume come, my costume don’t arrived. I tried for 4 times to call, the waiting time it’s like 35 minutes, and they told me the costume I want was out
Of stock. They offer me another one on oct 24, different size, and when I ask for the overnight shipping they charged me the total,( that’s no my fault the costume doesn’t come) so it’s oct 25, 11:44 pm and I don’t get my costume.

Worst Experience and Customer Service EVER!

"I ordered my son's costume Oct 12th and 11 phone calls, 112 minutes of my time wasted (not including emails, facebook messenger, live chat) rude customer service reps, being hung up on, not being able to speak to a manager, not able to get a refund, them shipping my son's costume to California instead of Michigan and we still don't have a costume. They did take my money with no issues. I have filed a dispute with paypal in hopes to atleast get my money back. Still have a heartbroken 3 year old at home :( I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau as well and by the looks of all of these horrible reviews, I hope others do to!"

Worst Online Purchase Ever

"I never had so much trouble ordering anything online. I placed my order back on the 17th of October. They sent me an email stating there was some problem on their end and that they are upgrading my shipping and I should receive my package by the October 25th. Today is 24th of October, I check on the status of my package stating that it was cancelled. I had no idea why, only to find out that they cancel the wrong order. I normally do not complain but this is by the far the worst ordering experience I have ever had. I would never order with them again.

Horrible overall stay away

"I ordered a ghostbusters proton pack for my soon. It arrived 12 days later but the on/off switch was broken. I called customer service and the representative was very rude and hostile! Even though the product was defective, I have to pay out of pocket to return the item back to get an exchange or refund ultimately losing about $40 for the initial and return shipping. I wish I had read the reviews before making a purchase and the BBB would shut or penalize them "

Return Policy is the worst

"Go to a retailer that is in business year round. I ordered a costume online and the shirt was fine, but the pants were too big so I tried to return it in store same day I received it and customer service number said it was too late and I would only be able to exchange it. There were no more costumes in the store to exchange it with. No store credit or refund. Also I had to spend the exact amount because they don’t give you the difference in cash. What a scam!"

Worst Return policy

"You should be able to return your items prior to Halloween. I totally understand not allowing Halloween returns after October 31. I do not agree with the exchange only return policy it is the worst policy ever. Will never shop at Spirit Halloween again worst customer service ever. "

Low quality product, terrible customer support

"Paid over $130 for a costume that ripped down the entire seam after the first time wearing it. Was told I could return it (before the night of Halloween I might add) without original packaging. Paid $25 in shipping to return with invoice inside and they returned it to me. Will never buy from again and will tell anyone I know not to use them in the future. "

"I've had multiple terrible experiences. From glass candles arriving completely damaged and unusable because they were packaged horribly to being denied a refund for an item I ordered and never even received. I will never buy anything from them ever again!"

Horrible Return/Exchange Process/Policy

"I purchased a clothing item from the online store but it didn't fit. I just wanted to exchange it for the proper size, except Spirit doesn't do exchanges that way. I was given the option to return in store, but here's the thing: you have 14 days and my local store wouldn't be accepting returns until October 21, 2018. i had no choice but to send the package back, which wouldn't have been a problem except that shipping is non-refundable (understandable) and I had to pay almost $27 to return it in the same box! Outrageous! Why? Because Spirit purposely does not include return address labels. When my refund is finalized (an extra $27 cost), I will purchase the same item from a different retailer. Beware: save yourself $34 on shipping and shop elsewhere.
This experience insures that I never shop at Spirit again. They've lost a loyal customer because their policy is difficult and costly. I originally paid $79, including the shipping. Now this purchase cost me $106. No, Spirit, you don't get to do that.

"I pre-ordered the Hocus Pocus Pop Vinyls over a month ago. Today, I received an email saying my order had been cancelled per my request. Upon emailing customer service, they claim the payment could not be processed and they cancelled the order. Advise customer service that there was more than enough funds to cover the $40 order and there were no attempted charges on my account. They said I would have to place a brand new order and wait even longer, but offered 20% off. I should have it by 10/31 they said. I ordered 7/13. I could make my own Pops by the time they get here. Over 3 months for an order is atrocious. Of course I reordered, because it’s a gift. Not happy at all. "

HORRIBLE COMPANY!

"I never leave any reviews but I am so mad with this company that I decided to make an exception. I ordered a costume for my boyfriend 9 days prior to the event. The company emailed me on the day when my order should have already arrived and said that it was canceled because they don't have the item in stock. They said they are going to remove any pending charges from my bank account and even sent me a rebate form to fill out for this inconvenience. The charge was pending for a long time then they finally removed it. Week after I notice a new charge for the same amount that was pending. I contacted the company through online chat since it was impossible to get a hold of anyone through the phone. The representative was careless and rude but he assured me that he will forward it to their support team to fix it and remove any charges. They did removed it eventually until today I see another pending charge. I had to contact their company again. I received the same careless response that they will forward this matter to their team. I asked for another email confirmation of my order cancellation and the answer was negative. I gave up and called the bank to cancel my card. The representative from my bank said that they've been trying to charge my card almost everyday for the past 3 weeks! I don't care if that was a glitch in their system but there is no excuses for the lack of professionalism that their support team showed. I will NEVER shop here again! And will tell all my friends to avoid this scam company!"

Terrible customer service

"I purchased a costume online September 5th. It was supposed to ship October 5th. I called October 7th and was told give it two more days. I looked for a costume in my area and the local spirit store called when they came in and I got the same costume October 12th..
So, I called and spoke to Robert who told me he canceled my online order.. only to find out October 19th that were shipping me the canceled order. I called was hung up on twice and they shipped the order not until the 23rd and according to their tracking info it will not even arrive until Halloween night. I needed the costume for tomorrow. Order delivery date was supposed to be the 5th and I canceled the 19th. Still no costume they will not stop the shipment when it didn't even go the 19th and they are very rude.. will never order online again. Might not even from the store that's how rude they are!!!
