"I’m A general contractor and gave speedy electric 3 separate chances
First appointment no call no show. Wasted 2.5 hours of my time
Second appointment they canceled and I had to reschedule 3 other subcontractors
Third appointment they did the electric work required but shut off the homes AC breakers and left with them off causing the vacant home to heat up to 86 degrees
Thank god the cleaning lady went and called me the next day. I had to switch AC breakers on and re program the thermostat to get the units running.
I billed them for 2 GC hours and they refused to pay . This company charges top dollar for electric and I’ll never use them again

"Ordered 2x light switches from these peeps without doing my research. As per other reviewers, I didn't hear anything re. delivery after placing the order. Tried to find a contact number (there isn't one), so after a few days I emailed to ask where my switches were? After reading the other bad reviews I was panicking a little.... Received an emailed response the next morning explaining that there was a delay from their supplier, but my switches would be with me in 2 days. Sure enough, 2 days later, switches arrived via APC courier. Have knocked one star off as it took 7 days from order to receiving, but all in all, no drama - and the switches look great! I'd argue this company really needs to add a phone number or helpline to boost customer confidence, but from my experience, they dealt with my (emailed) enquiry quickly and efficiently. "

"Ordered switches and sockets for new kitchen on a Sunday. Confirmation said delivery Thursday/Friday. Nothing had arrived by the following Monday so sent an email to chase. Reply came Tuesday that delivery would be Friday ( 1 week late!). The order duly arrived on that day and was complete."

"I purchased from this Company without reading any reviews. It was the ONLY vendor I found that had exactly the same dimmer switches to match those in my home. You can imagine my fear when I googled the company out of interest and read these reviews after my purchase. However, I can categorically state the service I received has been second to none. I sent an email asking if I could alter the order the day I made it, as I actually ordered the wrong colour back plate. Speedy Electrical replied one day later - very acceptable in my opinion. Yes there is a form on their website to complete, but you are given a ticket number when you submit the email. Following a further email exchange they advised when delivery would be made, the consignment came on the day they said it would. They told me they complete 300 successful transactions weekly without any issues, quite a good record I would say. I can only speak about my experience with the Company, which was excellent. I am not an employee of the Company and had never heard of them until I placed the order. I would not hesitate to purchase from them again."

I have learned a massive lesson dealing with this cardboard cut out company. With a web site that looks professional but behind it is a bunch of clowns and a joke service.
Read the reviews. They are awful and need to be shut down and sorted out!!! DON’T USE THEM.

"Never ever use them they are a disgrace. I placed an order on the 19/1/15 for over £160. They failed to deliver within the 5 working days having taken my money. They failed to answer emails until threats of court action. They still have not repaid my money & my only course of action is the Small Claims Court. I wish I had read the reviews before placing the order!!!!"

"Absolutely appaling experience from start to finish. Do not be fooled by the slick website - these guys are amateur and unprofessional. Look a little closer and you'll see that they don't have a phone number (if they did, I'm sure it would be constantly engaged by the sheer volume of customer complaints) and although they mention a live chat facility on the face of their site, they don't actually have one. Placed the order on December 23rd expecting dispatch within 3-5 working days. Didn't hear anything for two weeks, following two strongly worded complaint letters the order was finally sent out and only just now (17 January) received my order. Echoing the reviews below, when I finally did receive everything, the boxes were damaged all over and very carelessly packed. The issue is compounded by the fact that they use an obscure courier company called APC which has a similarly appaling standard of service to their own - APC twice attempted delivery at my house, without either calling me or leaving me a card to say they'd been. Avoid Speedy Electrical at all costs - they are total cowboys. "

"I ordered various switches and sockets from them and at the end of the 'five working day' dispatch period had to threaten them with a chargeback to get the goods dispatched (which then arrived the following working day). Their excuse was a 'busy Christmas delay' (like someone would be giving electrical fittings as Christmas presents.......) They were very badly packed and the box outers damaged but by that stage I couldn't be bothered anymore. The irony is that the products themselves were of good quality (Scolmore clickdeco). With hindsight I should also have been warned off by a site that has no telephone number (let alone a freephone number). Don't use them - with this level of service they won't be around much longer."
