"Ordered a dimmer switch from this company. Expected delivery in 3-5 working days, but Product not received within one week. So cancelled the order - as electrician due to install on the following day. (Ordered another from Amazon and had to pay cost for express delivery.) No response from company. So contacted Barclaycard to dispute transaction. Concerned that my card details had fallen into wrong hands, so asked Barclaycard to block CC and requested new card. Within 30 minutes of report to Barclaycard, received email from company apologizing for delay in dispatching order, and promising refund. Received refund 3 days later (friday). On following Monday the product I ordered was delivered! Now I just need to return it to conclude my dealings with this company. What a waste of time! I will not be using this company again."
"I placed an order with this company before I read the reviews and the reviews worried my so I contacted them and asked where my goods were. I go an email response promising them within 2 days and, within 2 days, they arrived.
I didn't get a delivery date and after waiting for about a week with no contact I started to read the reviews so I would suggest that they look into providing a delivery date in a confirmation email.
I would also like to note to other reviewers that the invoice also included a phone number.

"I come across the website for Speedy Electrical and placed a large order coming to around the £60 mark. Realising there was no contact number for this company I emailed them requesting when I would be receiving my goods. They did reply and said 5 days and gave me the day a Friday. Not receiving anything again after 5 days courier service, I emailed again, this time they said it will be Tuesday. How long was this going to go on for?. Not happy and my customer not being happy I pressed for a full refund. They did. Something not right with this company. Press for a refund. They are complete time wasters.In the end you will receive nothing. Speedy money withdrawal but No products.
We suggest A5 Electrical Ltd. Lovely people, you can speak to someone over the phone.Excellent email contact with pictures off your items before delivery and how they are packaged. "I was looking for a phone number for this company as I had not received about 30 plugs and sockets after 5 days. I came across this site and started to get me very concerned. I wrote them an e-mail which was responded to within 20 minutes advising me that the delivery would be coming the next day. It arrived promptly at 10am the next morning and all items were present and correct. I am not suggesting that other people have not had problems, but my experience was absolutely fine, made slightly worse only due to reading this web-site. All the products were clean, packaged correctly and I am very happy with my experience."
"Shocking. Wish I'd seen these reviews before I ordered, so I'm leaving another one to try and stop anyone else going through the same experience.
I ordered a selection of plug sockets for a job, everything in stock, dispatched within 3-5 days. No order confirmation e-mail, I only managed to find my order ref via my PayPal recipt.
10 days later, and after 3 ignored e-mails, they replied to the 4th and said it would be dispatched in the next day. It arrived a week later, and items were missing from the order.
I e-mailed again twice and was ignored. Third time, after I threatened to go to the PayPal resolution center, they said they'd get their warehouse team to look into it. Nothing more was heard.
I've given up getting the rest of my order from these clowns. I'll take the loss and buy them somewhere else.

"Like everyone else in this review I placed an order with these reptiles, never received my order, don't reply to any correspondence but DO take the money from your credit card. What really gets me is that I obviously reported this to my credit card company who refunded me having been satisfied that I never received my goods and told me to take no further action as a full investigation into this company would be launched and if appropriate their merchant facilities would be withdrawn. That was 9 months ago, they still seem to be going strong. DO NOT ORDER FROM AND CERTAINLY DO NOT GIVE BANK DETAILS TO THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL GET TURNED OVER.

Took payment on 18th December 2013, no confirmation of order, no contact details, no way of chasing up.
I had to write to them via 'Enquiry' and recieved a message asking me to confirm what I had ordered. They then told me it was out of stock, but would have delivery in three days.
It took another two weeks of no contact, before I got my money back through PayPal.

"Nothing short of a great service with exceptional prices!!! I have ordered from these guys 4 times in the past 2 months and every order has been with me on time as stated on their website. I have been doing up my home 1 room at a time and I cannot speak highly enough of this company for advice, range of products, PRICE and speed of delivery! "I don't normally write reviews but thought I should as there are a lot of negative ones on here, and it doesn't do this company justice, as people don't tend to write on these sites unless they are unhappy with something so it skews the ratings. I ordered 22 chrome plug sockets and light switches for my new house, all arrived 4 days after ordering, all correct and good quality. I was emailed and text the day after ordering with a tracking number. As for people saying the company doesn't answer their emails - I sent them a few with a question I had and they was always answered within 10/15 mins, so not sure what that is all about. Would defo use again."

"Have placed 4 orders with this company prior to finding this site, first one was a trial and to check if downlights were ok, so only ordered two, they came direct from one electrical, the second was a large order it did come but not all order complete and no way of checking if the order I placed online as once you place the order there is no way of checking it so just though i'd ordered wrong amount of downlights, third order was for light switches and one turned out to be faulty and have had to file claim with paypal, fourth never arrived so again had to file claim with paypal to which speedy electrical have no replied once to my emails or the paypal claims, the mobile phone number that is listed on Paypal for this company is not recognized, something is defiantly not legit about this company"

They promise 'Speedy Courier Delivery' 24 – 96 hours after despatch, but don't explain that for items they have in stock, the despatch timings are on a 'really can't be bothered' basis. Discovered after ordering that they have no telephone number and don't respond to email.
I will update this review when the goods arrive...
First update: Three weeks have passed with no delivery, refund or reply. Nothing. Bitterly disappointed.
Second update: A month has now passed. No goods, no reply and no refund. I've put in a claim to try and get the payment refunded through PayPal.
Third update: The goods never arrived. The money was never refunded. No emails were ever answered. Luckily I managed to get my money back from PayPal."
