2) when I got the vegetable peelers they looked like dollar store junk.
I contacted the company and we went round and round....wanted me
to pay 14 dollars to ship back to China. I called Paypal. They were helpful
and they eventually got all of my money back accept what it cost to
ship them to a Las Vegas address. It did take awhile but I do recommend
buying through PayPal so they were stand behind you.

"I bought a bottle of "cleaner", waited over a month and received a product that was little more than an empty bottle and a collection of "cleaning tablets" that cleaned about as well as the water I added. When I complained they offered me a refund once I ship the product back to China. In other words, they sell cheap trash they know is not up to the hype, then make it so expensive to return that they're guaranteed a massive profit. "

"I've been waiting for my order since at least October 23, 2018 (more than a month ago). It's been enroute from China (I didn't know I was ordering from China) for over 14 days. They refuse to issue credit of course because "it's enroute." I am going to file a complaint with my state's Attorney General Consumer Protection Division and also file for a refund from my credit card that I used, stating that I never received the product and the company is denying me a refund. Wish I had checked the internet for the company's reviews before I ordered! Let this be a lesson to all who order online---check online reviews first before hitting the "confirm order" button on your computer."
"I didn't do my research and was conned - wish I'd seen these reviews. Smartocity's website have 5-star reviews for the product I purchased but I now know they are obviously FAKE - FAKE - FAKE!!
Saw the video on Smartocity website for the V-Clean Spot - thought it looked great and it appeared to be an American website. I paid the grand total of US dollars 24.82 (almost £20). However, once I'd pressed the button for payment I realised the product was being shipped from China - I knew then that it was going to be a cheap product. Couldn't cancel and it arrived after about 20 days. By that time I'd checked out the same item on e-bay which was being sold for £2.79 with FREE delivery.
I mailed Smartocity who told me I'd have to return the goods to China by courier and would have to pay for this service + ensure I had all the tracking details. Upon receipt of the returned product, they would decide if and how much I would have refunded but that would definitely not include any of the postage amounts, either for delivery or return to them - READ the TERMS & CONDITIONS.
I have to make a decision whether it's worth it for me to return something to China in the hope of getting a refund of approximately £15.00? I guess this is how they are raking in the monies.
Tried to check out their website with a contact address but no success as yet. I'm going to investigate further and look at reporting them to the National Trading Standards e-Crime Team. "
"I purchased Mighty Cleaner and found I wasted my money. I was so in hopes that the product worked as advertised, how disappointed I am. The product did not bubble as promised. Therefore it did not clean as promised. Even with scrubbing the product did not react as promised. Keep your money and do not purchase this item. I ordered the product on 9/5/18 and received it on 9/27/18."
"I could almost immediately tell by the video shown that this was a complete fraud! They probably use food coloring on the products they show they spray, and how it loosens it or completely removes the "stains" or grub. Let's face it, you can't remove anything unless you use good old fashioned "elbow grease" :). There's no "miracle spray" that wil INSTANTLY remove stains! Oh, how we wish they did, huh?? LOL!
Thanks for all your reviews, and good to see they are not by the manufacturers "actors" or "writers" to boost a bad product to rip people off with. They should be sued for false advertisement!"
"Ordered V Spot Clean and it took 1 month to arrive from Smartocity.com. Opened package and there are NO Instructions. Contacted customer service and asked specific questions and they only answered one question minimally. Replied asking for more details and never heard back from them. Searched internet and couldn't find any helpful instructions.
Tried product and it ****! Doesn't do anything like the videos and company say and show on videos. Stay away from this product and smartocity.com.

"I purchased this item from smartocity because the price seem to be pretty low for the product I was buying. Found out later the same day I ordered it that I could have gotten it almost 50% cheaper at Walmart and would not have to pay shipping. Contacted website to cancel order and they told me that there is no way to cancel the order at that time. Not only that but they told me that the product would take up to 21 days to arrive. nowhere on their site when I was ordering this product and its state that it would take this long to get product. Nor did they say anything about not being able to cancel your order. What their website did say multiple times was that they would do whatever it took to make you happy up to and including refunding your purchase. None of this occurred. It took 14 days for the product to arrive. When it did the product was exceedingly cheap. It look like a Nickelodeon child's toy. I went ahead and used it and it was complete crap. The main painting pad came off after one pass with paint on it and would not go back on. This product is not worth anybody's time or money. Do not order anything from smartocity as it will be at least 30 to 50% more expensive than anywhere else you can get it and you can't return it or cancel the order after 24 hours and if you do get it returned you will have to pay return shipping which will cost as much or more than the product you bought. I would have given less than one star if I could have on this review."

Days went by and the same emails kept coming: there is still time to add to your order. I emailed them "where is my stuff?'. The reply was "We will ship it as soon as we get it. It will take 15-20 days from when we have it." Never going there again."
"I also ordered the microblade eyebrow pencil waited 3 months to get it delivered, once it arrived dried out. They insisted on photos, videos, original packaging. Ordered in June and still awaiting some kind of super being to approve a replacement. All this for a 14.95 item. They have to be a scam, worst customer service I have ever experienced. Somebody should shut them down, they are giving internet purchasing a bad name. I have spent way too much time trying to make honest company of them. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM unless you want an ulcer"
"I am very dissatisfied with my order of an Eyebrow Microblading Marker. When it finally arrived, it was completely dry, it did not even make the faintest mark on the skin. We e mailed Smartocity and explained. They said that in order to obtain a refund, we would have to supply the original packaging, supply videos and be prepared to return it to China! Firstly, we had not kept the original packaging as we had to rip it open and therefore had put it straight in the rubbish. Secondly, the cost of returning the product to China would probably be prohibitively expensive. Thirdly, although I can take a video on my phone, I have no idea on how to transmit it to them. In short, we have no way of obtaining the justifiable refund, which is positively outrageous. This company makes no mention of the fact that their products come from China at the point of order. In addition, their products are over-priced compared to other companies and take a long time to arrive. I would highly recommend avoiding this company."
