Great information

"spoke with Mike a few times in regard to different skis , their true functions vs. writer hipes
out there, his assessment on my abilities, skiing style,age,etc. He has directed me toward a few skis that I am researching . Feel confident with all his suggestions . But his one attribute that has stood out was his sincerity of helping customers based on asking questions. Great sign of sales

Loved the in-depth reviews, friendly service

"I am that guy who agonizes over purchases. "Is this the right one for me?" "Is it a good value?" "Will this work like I expect?" I want to know everything I can about something before I move ahead on a purchase, and want to hear people's opinions about the item. I realize that most shops are in the business of selling things, so I tend to look at reviews generated by people selling an item as a little suspect. For SkiEssentials, I was impressed with the amount of thought that went into the reviews. It's not just "rah rah buy this" - there is analysis of who the ski is for, what kind of snow it rides best on, manufacturer info, etc. Plus there are segments showing the skis in action with more than just static shots. The amount of time and skill that goes into presenting this info shows how into the sport these guys are. This carries through to the purchase. It really seems like they want you out on the hill enjoying the sport. I'm very happy to support this company - bought a demo set of Atomic Maverick 95 Ti skis from them at an incredible price."

Top notch customer service; great prices

"I ordered a pair of Stockli Laser AR and bindings. I originally chose free shipping and then gave them a call to expedite the order.
- They were flexible and let me send over my own FedEx overnight label. I didn't know of any other store that does this--they would normally charge you for this.
- They reminded me that I didn't enter the sole length and guided me through on where to find the measurement so that they could install the bindings, for free.
- The manufacturer dropped the price on the day the skis were shipped out. I sent them an email, and they willingly refunded the price difference.

I got my skis today and couldn't be happier. The whole experience was very pleasant. Mike was responsible and super helpful. Would buy from them again and highly recommend this store.

First place I'll look next time

"We have now gotten 3 ski packages from Ski Essentials. They have proven themselves to be a trustworthy store and offer the best prices and selection that I've found. The skis/boots/poles that I've bought for myself, my wife, and now my son have been perfect. We're not professionals . . .I personally have been a skier for 30 years, but my family has skied now for only about 3 years. We all know that this gear is not cheap, but we quickly tired of the cost and hassle of renting. We decided to buy our equipment and haven't regretted the decision a bit. I feel that buying the whole ski package is the way to go in lieu of piecing it together, but again, I'm not a pro. It takes the guesswork out of making sure the components will match and are proper for each other. The latest order we placed, for my son, was time sensitive and toward the end of the ski season. I passed this along to Mike at Ski Essentials. He replied to my email and noted that they would get them out as soon as possible. They did. I ordered them on a Friday evening of a holiday weekend. Ski Essentials shipped the whole package by Saturday afternoon and we received it a few days later. That really impressed me. I'm very grateful that, though we live in a non-skiing state (Indiana), we have the ability to have quality equipment, at a fair price, shipped and delivered quickly. They've earned the first spot that I will look to for our next purchase. "

Quality gear at an unbeatable price with superior service

"I ordered a ski package as a new skier after some bad experiences with rentals. With an upcoming weekend ski trip, I wasn't sure if I would receive it in time. The folks at Ski Essentials (Mike and others) truly went above and beyond to make sure I received it in time. They also upgraded my ski boots after not having the ones selected in stock.

I couldn't be happier and can't recommend Ski Essentials enough. They have earned a loyal customer.

Great Customer Service

"I recently purchased skis/bindings at Ski Essentials. The experience was excellent. After completing my research on what skis I wanted, I called the shop and discussed options with the Sales team. They were very knowledgeable and helped me with in my final decisions on skis, bindings and sizing. The order process was very easy and efficient and the skis came mounted out to the West Coast within a week. Due to the high value of the purchase I also received a $30 credit towards a next purchase (something that was not clearly marketed on their website, but a great benefit). I called the customer service team and they emailed me a code that I used towards the purchase of a new helmet. Again, process was easy and I received a helmet and goggles within a week from ordering. Great service, team and process, and an outstanding inventory to choose from."
