"First of all A+ merchant, transaction was smooth, fast and items were quality.

Ordered a Nikon D40x. Got a mail after the purchase saying they realized that the batch of D40x's were factory defected and said they will upgrade my order to D60 (no extra cost). And I got my D60 package after one week I placed the order. Everything in the package were quality items. Will definitely do business with these guys again.

"I have ordered a Canon rebel 400D XTi camera on february 28 and it arrived in italy on March 25 in a village in the middle of nowhere. Late time delivery from my order because I have payed by bank wire transfer and depending the situation on bridge of Easter. Gratefull to salesman Andy for kindness and advices, I am very satisfied of my purchase, livelihood and shipping, delivery and so for pricing.
I hope to have satisfaction so in a future with this shop.

"I ordered the Canon S5 Is with another company first. I ordered it in January and was constantly told it was on backorder. Six weeks after ordering , I canceled and order it through Sunshine. "I ordered through ebay...and was at first concerned about the fact that the PayPal account option was not available....but once I talked to them direct I found that they were able to provide a better customer service by speaking directly over the phone. My order was shipped to Canada and they were able to tell me within a few dollars how much 'extra' it would cost. The person I spoke with was knowledgeable and didn't try to oversell anything. He knew that the product I ordered had the same batteries etc as the product that I already had...there was a bit of a mix up by the UPS people at the border...but the item still made it here in 12 days(and there was a holiday in there!)
I am very satisfied with the item and the service. I will return in the future...

"I had a very good experience with Sunshine Elec. Their prices are excellent; I save over $200 off of other mail order stores. I purchase my item through an EBay listing and had to call for payment options. I was a bit apprehensive because of other peoples experience with other discount stores however the salesman asked me only a two questions, if I wanted an extended warrantee, I told him no, he said “Ok, your camera should arrive in 5 to 7 days.” That was it. No high pressure to buy unwanted or overpriced accessories. He then asked if I had any question or concerns. Overall a very good experience and I did receive my camera in 5 days, full USA warrantee, new-in-box. Not a demo, not gray market – just an excellent price on a Nikon D300 with all the standard stuff."

"Camera is ok, upsell kind of sucks. You have to call in to 'finalize' your order so they can push products on you. Never left eBay feedback.

The kit (Nikon D40x) was listed with two lenses, the 18-55mm kit lens, and a Nikkor 70-300mm lens, that they fail to mention will NOT work autofocus with the D40x. So I'm stuck with a lens that I cannot use in everyday situations.

So upset that I paid for a lens that doesn't work with my camera, and will probably never use. I doubt they'd take the time to offer something else to satisfy me, the customer.

"Ordered a Nikon D300 camera body on March 12, and it arrived (Brooklyn to small town central California) on March 24th. Not too bad for cross country delivery, but shipment was delayed because of an address mix-up, which their customer service people called to clarify. I did have to confirm the order by phone, but there was no hard sell for extras. I did however agree to pay $45 for shipping insurance. UPS ground shipping was included in the sale price.

Their price on the USA version camera was the best I could find after a week of on-line searching. The camera that was shipped was as promised with a full USA warranty. It came in an "Outfit" box from which the kit lens had been removed, but all the other "goodies", including a full version of Nikon Capture NX, were in their original factory packing.

All in all a very satisfactory purchase of a very "hot" item that was priced about 10% less than the big camera sellers (B&H, Ritz, etc.). And free shipping.

"I bought a camera from their eBay store. I was a little surprised that I had to phone in to complete the order; it makes me nervous that I'm going to get a hard sell for something but I was only pressed to get a second battery - which is fine, as I travel with my camera and having a second battery is essential.

My order was stuck as "order sent to warehouse" for over 5 days but was shipped as soon as I contacted customer service about this.

I see people on here complaining about the "junk" accessories that come with most of the camera bundles, but the store is very up front about the make of these and the user is free to research the quality of the goods they are buying. Personally I went with a better lens and am happy with the accessories that came with the camera (tripod, filters, cleaning kit, carry case). At least I get to have a more complete kit (for cheap) at the start and can upgrade if I find the items both essential and lacking.

"I already wrote a review for this seller that I was not satisfied but what I discovered now was shocking. The lens that they sent me was STOLEN. I sent the lens to Nikon for repair and Nikon replied saying that ShopSunshine is not an authorized Nikon dealer and their records indicate that the equipment is a stolen property. The serial number of my lens is 2507539. Nikon said they are in process of notifying appropriate authorities and I hope they can shut down the malpractices. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SELLER."

"This Business reminds me of those school kids who sell you stuff from their catalogue and you never know if you will actually receive the product.

Yep, that's them and it costs me $5000 and a trip to Vegas to learn this.

(I had to buy a substitute camera)

Here is the full story:

I bought a 3000 dollar camera from Shopsunshine.com for a wedding that was two weeks away and in the end, the camera ended up costing me 3400 dollars (standard price) and as I am writing this, I still do not have the camera. It's been over two weeks since I paid them and of course, I had to buy a replacement camera.

I am sure I will get the camera, but only God knows when. I needed it last Saturday for the wedding, but it never got here in time even after I paid for 2nd day air shipping (300 bucks extra). I wasted an entire day because I made myself watch for the UPS guy. It's not like these guys could send me a tracking number, I guess they don't roll that way.

If there is ONE thing I am upset about, it's their deceit even after telling them how important it was that I have it by that date.

"Oh sure! We will have it to you by two weeks, No Problem! :D "

A week later...

"You didn't get it yet? No Way....well I am on top of this one. You will have it before Saturday! :D "

If they would just email me and say :

"sorry, there is no way we can get it to you by that date" - at least then, I would have time to figure out how to cope instead of stressing and watching for UPS guys. I also wouldn't have paid for the UPS 2nd Day Air shipping which to these guys means "UPS Time Capsule".

Lesson learned, I will never shop from ANY Brooklyn based retailer other than the one - google "professional video".

Yep, this a "Crooklyn Bait & Switcher". I feel stupid that I didn't research this.
