do not buy from this website

"My husband ordered a sweatshirt from this website and paid with Paypal. He never received an order confirmation or the item, yet the his Paypal account was charged. The Paypal could not provide refund saying the transaction took place and he needed to deal with the seller directly but since there is no order number, he could not deal it with the seller too. A few years later, the exact thing happened to my sister who wanted to buy my daughter a birthday gift. She did not receive an order confirmation but her Paypal was charged. This website is a scam. "

Late delivery, no communication, additional administration in EU

"Youth personalized jersey ordered on December 10th, with an express shipping option (charged some 15+ € extra) that should guarantee the delivery by Dec 22nd, order sum 101,74 EUR.
When the status didn't change after 6 days (according to the information from the website 5 days are needed for processing personalized items) I tried to retrieve some details about my order. The online chat feels like fake or as a lottery at the best - irrespective of the daytime, length and count of attempts, the only answer I ever got was that all the "fan advocates" are busy and I should try later/restart my request sequence.
On Dec 22nd (originally promised delivery date) I answered the order confirmation e-mail, which reads "NHL shop Europe" and "customer services" only to find out, the actual sender address is a no-reply one.
Resent the message to the customer service address from the body of the order confirmation message. Failed again, because the address contains a mistake.
Went to the website to find out the correct customer services address, sent the message again, basically saying that delivery till Dec 24th would be accepted despite the delay, for the delivery by 28th of December I would require refund of the "express delivery" extra fee, later delivery is not accepted, I want to cancel the order and require full refund.
No answer, no status change until a message on Dec 31st (9th day after my message) thanking me for the loyalty and informing, that the order should be delivered by January 7th.
On January 2nd I received a notification from DHL, that informs me about customs clearance and requires an invoice, a screenshot/detail of the bank transfer/card payment and full powers for DHL for the customs clearance. I had to generate one special document, because the sum of items in my order differed for no apparent reason by 0,01 EUR from the total/paid sum (twice fill in, download, print, sign, scan, upload).
I'll probably look at additional 16 EUR customs clearance service fee, because NHL Europe's seat is - outside EU.
Honorary mention - the provided DHL download page for the required forms is identified as phishing by browsers and security software, so I've got hard time to reach it.
According to the DHL tracking my order was announced on Dec30th and shipped on Dec31st, which is the 8th resp. 9th day after my written complaint and 3 days after the date of order cancelling deadline passed.
Summed up: total costs of about 118 € for one personalized youth hockey jersey, delivered 2 weeks after Christmas despite initial promise, zero communication/feedback/response, additional administration caused by regional sales office seated outside EU. Thank you, but no, thank you.
Message to NHL: I guess the NHL merch turnover in Europe is heavily reduced by the fact that the selected partner really tries hard to turn any prospect to a one time, never returning customer.

Worst experience ever

"Placed order on May 13, was told I would receive it by June 2. I called on June 16 to check on order- where the rep apologized and stated it would ship out immediately. I called back on June 22 and was told a manager would call me. No call. I did receive email yesterday saying my order would finally ship this coming Monday. Then today receive email that my order was canceled. I called back and spoke with manager who told me I could replace the order with her- but would have to pay again. I haven't even been refunded for the first order. This company is a joke"

I think I might be one of the lucky one

"I ordered some stuff for the hubby and it was automatically cancelled nothing went through my credit card. They send you an email for the order and they turned around and cancelled without any explanation so waited and waited until I typed in my email address and it says cancelled no explanation so right there it stinks. I consider myself lucky that nothing was taken out on my credit card and they have the balls to send me emails about discounted stuff SCAMMER oh and by the way lids.ca and etsy same story also scammers"

Never got shipped despite “have been shipped” notification

"Ordered on 12/7, got “got shipped” notification on 12/10. Never arrived. Many emails and calls later found out it was never even shipped. The only way I could get a response was by calling and waiting on hold for over 45 minutes. It appears they just made the shipping label, but forgot to send it to the shipping company. Don’t waste your time and money on this outfit! Total scam!"

"Its really sad that they show a picture of a hockey jersey with a name on the back then in small letters it says blank back. my 4 year olds bday present. What a shame. BEWARE. I'll never order again. Customer Service can give a crap less. Thanks for nothing. ZERO STARS"

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

"WOW, just spoke to "James" to inquire about a return and he was SO RUDE! He had a really bad attitude and told me the only way to return an item was to use their $9.99 return label. AND, when I asked to speak to a manager (because he was soooo rude) he didn't mute the phone and told his co-workers I was "yapping' yapping" yapping". Well James, after speaking to a "supervisor" and she confirmed I could return the item on my own, it would appear James that you are just a rude customer service rep who needs to reconsider how he treats customers. DON'T SHOP HERE, items run small and it will cost you $10 to return it so don't bother!!!!!!!!!! OH, shipping takes forever as well!"

Poor Customer Service, Very Slow Shipping/Arrival Times

"I ordered a t-shirt for my son on 12/9 on shopnhl.com, plenty of time to get as a xmas present. The t-shirt was shipped on 12/12 and arrived about a week later. The t-shirt was supposed to be a custom NY Rangers Fox t-shirt. It arrived with Fox's name on the back and the Dallas Cowboys logo on the front. I called and explained the situation. They said they would fix the shirt and then send it out again. I had to insist it be sent Express shipping so that it would make it by Christmas. This was around the 18th or 19th. Today is 12/28 and the shirt still has not arrived. "

Worst Shipping Service

"This is probably one of the most deceitful shipping services around. Before making my purchase the delivery date said one thing. As soon as I made my purchase the delivery date was almost a week and a half after the latest part of the original date. I will not have this in time. DO NOT purchase from this website. Find another retailer. The customer service is not helpful at all. All that was said was when you receive it you can return it. I cant even cancel it after 12 hours of placing the order. "

They take your money, but will not deliver

"Ordered custom jersey 11/21, with promised shipping date 11/25 and delivery date 11/27. Now they told me it will be shipped 12/6, which is too late. And based on previous reviews, I would not trust that either.

Today is 11/28 and customer service is telling me they can not cancel it, as it is custom. But also they are not able to ship it until 12/6. So either they are lying to me or they really have something extemely wrong at NHL!

Advice: Do not use this site to order anything. And maybe this is way NHL works.

Slowest Shipping Ever

"I placed an order for a jersey on November 3rd for the game I am going to on December 10th. Boy was I wrong that 5 weeks would be long enough to receive my order in time. Terribly disappointing.

The item was "in stock" and was supposed to ship on November 12, and be delivered by November 21. I kept receiving emails that it had been delayed, and started getting nervous I was not going to receive my product in time for game day, which defeats the entire purpose of my order. I called their customer service the first time on November 22nd, and was promptly assured it would ship the next day. After receiving two more emails saying it was delayed, I called back the following week and the person I spoke to told me it wasn't shipping until December 4th. In my opinion, the first person I spoke to completely lied to me. I wanted to cancel my order and buy it from a credible company that will actually ship to me in reasonable time (should have ordered from Sportchek in the first place!) I was told I would not be able to cancel my order, but I insisted each email I received saying my order was delayed also said "If I chose not to wait I could cancel The order any time." After speaking with her manager, she agreed to allow me to cancel my order which had not even shipped yet after placing my order 3 weeks prior.

They said they would be in contact with me in two days to finalize my cancellation and if they do not I will not be as nice the next phone call I have to make to them.

Will definitely never order from this business again, and I will be telling my experience to anyone thinking of ordering from them as well.

"I purchased an authentic Toronto Maple Leafs jersey and was provided with a ripoff replica jersey (I confirmed in order and on receipt that i had paid for an authentic Adizero Adidas jersey). When i reached out i was told that the authentic ones were sold out so they sent me this (?!??!) absolutely horrible business practices."
