"ShippingQuest knows International Shipping! We recently used there services to ship goods to Argentina.
We went to the website got the shipping quote and booked my order right there. We received all communications via email including our bill of lading. We printed our labels from our account. We also had our sailing scheduled posted in our account. We received our ocean bill of lading copy right after our boxes sailed. We contacted the agent In Buenos Aires and we arranged to clear customs. We were able to track our shipment on our iphone which was super convenient. We were required to arrive in person to clear customs. A real headache but it was required. We then collected our 2 pallets. The service was exactly what we understood it to be. We were advised about clearing fees and terminal fees at destination and they were just in line with what ShippingQuest advised us to be. The ShippingQuest site is super, it has a ton of information about how to pack, customs clearance and just so much more. They really know international shipping and after searching so many sites no other site / company comes close to what shippingquest offers in terms of price and ease of online quotes and online bookings. We highly highly recommend shippingquest and it seems many others agree with us. "

There Customer Service is UNREAL. They answer every email in detail, they give you a feeling of security and trust. There communication and online tracking is better then UPS and Fedex. "ShippingQuest has just shipped my boxes to Salta, Argentina. I must admit that the service was outstanding. ShippingQuest is super professional. I been in contact with the customer service dept for about 3 months prior, though the online quote system is excellent. I revised my quote countless times since I kept on adding boxes. I then booked my order online and I was immediately contacted via email by the customer service dept to confirm my order. All my boxes were collected and palletized at the terminal. They charge $95 per pallet but well worth it. The pallet will protect your boxes and keep them bundled up to avoid loss or damage. I was then emailed my invoice which was a bit over since I had a bit more cubic feet.
My boxes went on the scheduled sailings and 4 weeks later I had my goods arrive to Buenos Aires port. The agent contacted me and we cleared customs. I had some duties to pay and some terminal fees but that was already advised to me by ShippingQuest customer service so it was no surprise. About 3 days later my goods arrived to my door at Salta. The delivery guys were very cordial, they came. delivered, i signed and good bye. Over all my experience was very good. What was striking about ShippingQuest is it seems they have relationships in every town and city. The agent In Argentina new them well and I read more postings about them in other countries. They have great prices much better then other companies I spoke to and there online quote system really allows you to understand your cost and budget accordingly. Had I not have this shipping quotes online I would go over my budget by so much. The booking process was so simple, they really have a very good system in place that works well.
The funny thing is when i went to get prices from Box Brothers in Los Angeles where I moved from they also advised they Use ShippingQuest for all the international shipping. I would use ShippingQuest again if I ever have to ship anything."
"I relocated to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico From Bronx, New York in October 2014. I was searching for many international shipping companies. I was offered many quotes. I finally booked my order with ShippingQuest. The reason is they provide great guidance, good customer service and outstanding low prices. They advised me to take my inventory list and have it approved by the Mexican Embassy. This was a critical step. Without that my goods would have been stuck at Mexican Customs, Aduana.
The pickup carrier arrived, collected my goods, I was able to track my goods on line in my ShippingQuest account and 10 days later my goods arrived to Puerto Morellos, where the Mexican agent cleared customs and did the delivery to my home.
Over all I had a great experience. Really no issues, very smooth and the customer service reps at ShippingQuest are very knowledgeable. I think that was the most important factor because I had a good feeling and the confidence to allow them to handle the shipping service. And it proved to be a wise choice. From the moment we spoke on the phone and throughout the entire process of emails, you can clearly see this company is professional and knows what it is doing. More then that, they do not even try to sell you the service like other companies, they never even called me. I had to call them and follow up on the quote they initially provided me. That spoke volumes because all the other companies were calling me non stop to sell me the service but really had not good advise to give me. ShippingQuest provided me with knowledge.
In short you can use any company and probably most will do a satisfactory job if they understand the basics, I went with ShippingQuest and had a great experience.
I am now living in Playa Del Carmen which I absolutely love an I will be using ShippingQuest to import merchandise for my new business.

"The worst international freight shipping company ever in all terms and steps. Very bad communication and agreement between customer service and terminal employee. Very bad handling of shipment in the terminal. The guy driving the fork going 30-40 ml/h and saw him dropping boxes of the pellet twice. Very careless. The estimated time for delivery was 4 weeks, it took them 2 to actually ship it out of the US and 4 weeks in the sea and it took another 2 weeks to get it ready for pick up (9 weeks total). The worse of all is all hidden charges. First the only qute came to be only $180, then after dropping off the shipment 53qf the bill came to $650 adding Fuel charges, bill of lading, packaging and ... Then when it got to the destination I paid almost the same amount (another $625) because they have shipped it to another port in the country of destination and the receiving agency charged me for transferring to the right port and another bill of landing and clearance and all kind of fees. By the way there were not customs fees. When complains to them they said these are normal charges and what you paid in the US is just for exporting charges and you should pay importing charges in the country of destination. I do not recommend this company at all. "
"Used ShippingQuest to help me move my personal belongings from the U.S. to New Zealand (where i've relocated). After spending a long time researching and calling companies all over the country, ShippingQuest was the least expensive and the customer service rep was extremely helpful when it cam to explaining how the whole process worked. Most other companies had sales departments that were clearly commission-based and mis-leading. ShippingQuest also made it really easy to track the status of my belongings from the time they were picked up to when they arrived in New Zealand which was comforting and reassuring for me while I waited. Their customer service department helped walk me through making the booking, explained the whole process to me, and were easy to reach via e-mail whenever I had other questions and wanted an ETA for the delivery dates. After picking up my belongings, I am pleased to see that everything is in tact, and just as I sent it off. If/when I have future need to use their company for shipping anything from The States to New Zealand, I will definitely use them, and will also recommend them to anyone who has shipping needs that are similar to mine."
