Horrible product and service

"I purchased a PS4 controller for my son for his birthday. It worked for two days and then the X button would not work. I contacted customer service as was told I had to return THE BROKEN controller within 14 days. Since I had it for some time before his birthday I had to pay over $40 shipping to return a defective product. While I did receive a full refund I am still out the cost of shipping the defective product and the cost to ship the POS back. Just avoid this company all together and save yourself some money and frustration. "

Worst customer service EVER!

"After waiting almost 2 weeks, Mine arrived broken. I called for help and they wanted me to return it and wait another 2 weeks minimum for it to be evaluated. I returned my broken controller and was called a LIAR by their staff saying there was nothing wrong with it and they wanted me to pay a 15% restocking fee!!! After several emails that took a week to get a reply and finally multiple phone calls and them retesting it they finally figured out it was actually broken. Waste of time!!!! Not one apology from “customer service”. Don’t waste your time, money or effort just AVOID!!!!!!!!"

Great controllers, HORRIBLE customer service

"I ordered a controller approximately 14 days prior to my GFs birthday as a gift. Standard shipping was noted as 7-10 days and had an expected delivery date of her birthday or the following two days. The upgraded shipping option (for a 2-3 day improved timeline) is $30!! My order was well over $200 so I emailed customer support to try and see if I could receive guaranteed delivery on the expected delivery date. I followed up twice on my ticket, yet the first response I received was not until today (14 days after my ticket was entered) and as of today the order is still in "processing" and hasn't even been shipped yet! its 14 days since my order and it hasn't even been SHIPPED? "

Terrible

"My 76 year old mother bought the wrong controller for my son for Christmas and when we tried to return it, we were told it must be returned within 15 days of purchase. After “getting approval” they allowed me to RETURN not exchange the controller for a 15% restocking fee. We tried to order the right control and was told our order was cancelled and refunded the next day because I bet couldn’t process our Visa card. Nothing has been refunded. Customer service is impossible to deal with. "

Bad customer service and quality

"In short I ordered a infinity pro for ps4 right after Christmas and there was multiple broken pieces I shipped it back and have been waiting almost 1.5 months to get it back repaired this all comes with the terrible customer service you get when you call.

Ordered infinity pro for ps4 ok Christmas of 2017 when I got the controller about a week later it had multiple malfunctions including trigger stopper buttons popping out randomly, the R2 trigger completely didn’t work, and the trigger hairs that I payed extra for didn’t work on the R2 trigger, the right scuff paddle didn’t work at all. On top of all this the controller purchase does not include a charging cord as you would expect any controller that cost 150+$ to have. This leads me to filling out the repair return form for the newly opened controller that I’ve had less than 24 hrs. I ship out the controller and wait over 4 weeks before hearing anything besides an email that they received the controller. I called on February 22 to obtain the information that my controller is being shipped back out to me. Considering I’ve not gotten to use the controller and it’s end of February And the order was placed before January I would say this is ridiculous. On top of all this every time I have called Custmomer support they where short, rude and reluctant to helping me with my issues that I should not be dealing with in the first place because of there faulty product.

Worst Customer Service Ever.

"Ordered a controller for my son for Christmas. After opening it on Christmas morning he found that they had shipped him a controller with a broken trigger. Contacted Scuf Gaming Customer support and was told to ship it back and expect it back from them in 7-14 days. That was on the 27th of December 2017. It is now the 27th of January 2018 and still no controller. I called them today to inquire about my repair. I was told it was finished but wouldn't be shipped until the end of next week. This company has the worst customer service. I will never purchase from them again and will steer as many away from doing business with them as I can."

Their customer service was horrible the controller doesn’t perform any better than stock controllers definitely not worth the money !

"I’ve had multiple accounts with their controller their customer service is unwilling to help past 14 days and even when you submit a problem it takes between two weeks to even hear from them if you do at all...Apparently if you set your hair trigger too touchy, your other controls won’t work... just a bad deal from start to finish and if you’re using an iPad or other Apple products when ordering you can almost guarantee your order won’t show up right because for some reason that has an effect on their website ...Nothing but problems will never order another one again and me and my team went back to stock controllers because theirs is garbage!"

absolutely disappointing

"So before i had this controller I had an elite, i was really happy with my elite and despite it being renown for only lasting 5 months, it actually lasted a year. After the elite, I got the scuff expecting it to be much better, I was very wrong. It wasn't even a month until i the decorative skin for the controller started to change shade and peel off, and already i could tell the build quality was far worse than the elite; it seemed more tacy the buttons were more rough and to use the paddels required more of a click than a smith, swift action than that of an elite. Additionally the paddle triggers on the back are not built into the controller like the elite, they're simply on the battery pack which just further tops the tacy design and is much easier to be broken. If you're reading this deciding on whether you should buy one or not. In short: don't. Buy an elite or just a standard one. Honestly, save your money. "

Wrost Nightmare Do NOT BUY THIS ****

"I brought 4FPS controller on 4/12/17 with 30*days. My controller is trash, First of all I am very disappointed with your product it's really made of cheap quality any one can feel from pad quality ,The 4ps controllor has a input lag, and Left paddle doesn't response some time, I had talk with customer care and turn out I have warranty for controller so asked me to return it back for repair.

Now real problem is I dropped the controllor at ups on 20/05/17 and it got struck at custom clearance they informed me that it has a battery so they cannot proceed with item, so its struck..??what next

Looks like I made a huge mistake.buying from scufgaming I need my REFUND back, you guys are cheating on your customers,promoting cheap quality product through YouTuber which the product won't last long and it's hell expensive

The 90-day Warranty Represents Scuf's Game Plan.

"I'll never buy Scuf again.. Bought 6 Controllers from them over the last 3 years (for myself as well as gifts to friends). I had to send in the last Infinity1 I had over to Scuf for repairs 5 different times (4 times for the same issue). The 1st 4 times was b/c the left bumper broke off (I play on bump jump so I use the left bumper more often) and the 5th was b/c of various different malfunctions. Each time something broke or stopped working I was a couple of weeks outside of their horrible 90 day warranty. Each time I had to spend an hour on the phone calling in and getting them to perform the repair for free. I am perfectly willing to pay the extra cost of the initial controller (for the customization and options) AND i'm perfectly willing to pay the extra maintenance fee for replacing the joysticks after they wear out BUT leaving their customers high and dry b/c their warranty is HORRIBLE was the last straw.

Scuf recently made the mistake of designing their Scuf paddle system AND their grips and joysticks for the Microsoft xBox Elite Controller. It's a seamless swap which means you DO NOT have to buy the controller from Scuf, merely the accessories. So I bought the accessory kits for the Elite from Scuf and the Elite Controller from BestBuy. The best part? BestBuy offers a free 2 year replacement protection plan for $19.99 within 15 days from the time of purchase. That means if and when something breaks or stops working, I bring the Elite into BestBuy and they will replace the Elite Controller right there on the spot, no questions asked. Problem solved.

Be Afraid Be Very Afraid

"Order my Scuf and paid extra for fast build and delivery. Less than 2 weeks of actual playing it started to malfunction. Character would start drifting around without touching thumb stick and in game with finger on thumb stick it would continue to move after you stopped moving thumb stick. The "X" and "Up Arrow" button became sporadic so if you pressed jump you may or may not jump. Contacted Scuf and told them I wanted my money back as I had not played with the controller for 2 full weeks. Was told there is 14 day refund policy and I was outside that window. DON'T order a Scuf unless you want to pay alot of money for a poorly build controller with no customer support what so ever. Read the online reviews and watch Youtube reviews for Scuf. Unless you are sponsored by Scuf or just get incredibly lucky you will regret your purchase.
Angry that I got screwed over but it was my own fault for not checking them out for myself and taking the word of the many You tubers that Scuf sponsors. Please do yourself a favor and order a Battle Beaver or Cinch as their reviews are pretty good from people not sponsored by either.

I learned my lesson to never order SCUF again...

"Hi Folks,

My story may not be like yours in regard to Scuf but really my experience was absolutely terrible. I was very excited to get a custom controller but sometimes things are too good to be true. When I got the controller (for ps4) straight away I noticed buttons were going off by themselves and the options button almost didn't click as it was so indented. The person I dealt with seemed like they didn't really care much. I sent it back and several weeks later they returned it to me. To my utter disgust the controller had the exact same issues. They had fixed nothing. It won't even power up anymore after I tried to turn it on last night hence my review. Since then I have bought nothing but official ps4 controllers and they work absolutely fine.

DON'T GET A SCUF CONTROLLER (unless you have money to burn), its far too expensive a risk for an overly priced piece of playstation gear.

Horrible Customer Service!

"Scuf sent my order to the billing address instead of the shipping address. My package was rained on and ruined. They would do absolutely nothing about it, except blame me! I recommend ordering controllers anywhere else! I wish I could pick zero stars!!!"
