Fast, professional, and personal

"I was looking for a patch kit for a puffer coat, and I noticed that Scuba carried one that was very reasonably priced and had free shipping. When I added it to my cart, for some reason it was showing a shipping charge. I simply called the number and Darrick helped me out over the phone. It shipped for free and arrived at my home very quickly. After that experience, I would buy everything I needed from Scuba.com if I could."

Probably will never order from again.

"First CPU was placed on backorder. They never told me it wasnt gonna be in stock at all until i called. Military discount was not honored even tho i reiterated to salesperson i phone i had dont the verification online on initial order and wanted to see it on the new order. They sent receipt after phone call but the file was not an actual file emailed back and was ignored. "

Scuba.com delivered!!

"I am leaving on a diving trip halfway around the globe in 4 days and decided the water temps will probably require a 5mm wetsuit, especially if we are trying to do 4-5 dives a day. Was going to layer but if I am taking a once in a lifetime trip like this, I want to be sure I am completely comfortable and toasty in my wetsuit. I broke down and bought a new one from scuba.com. I was super worried about it getting here in time for my departure. I ordered it on Thursday around noon and it was here Friday by that time! I did pay a fee for expedited shipping but have done that before without intended outcomes. Just have to say thank you for making it happen scuba.com! One less thing for me to worry about while packing for this trip!!!"

Shipping trash

"I purchased 2 small watch batteries and 2 O-rings. You’d think it would ship in a standard padded envelope instead it came in a 10”x10” box with several packing bubbles. Sending that much trash to divers who are generally very environmentally conscious seems a bit misguided. Try harder next time you’ll save money and resources. "

Terrible customer service

"I ordered a item from them and I paid for next day air, I was informed that it would be shipped out on a Wednesday because of a holiday and It would arrive on Thursday. I got a message from ups stating that it was given to the carrier late and it would arrive to late. I ended up getting it on Friday and the next Monday I called to get a refund for the shipping cost because I didn’t receive it on time. They proceeded to deny that request because “ i was informed that it would be shipped out late because the holiday” which is totally bs because the on Wednesday was not a holiday and the salesman told me that it would be shipped on Wednesday and arrive on Thursday. The lack of integrity and professionalism is astonishing and as a scuba professional I am extremely disappointed and I will not continue to do business with scuba.com nor will I recommend anyone to "

Bogus Promotions

"The have the usual popup for new customers promising 10% off their first purchase if they subscribe to email messages. But actually getting that discount is a challenge. First, the small print in their offer says the discount can’t be applied to sale merchandise or to certain items according to manufacturers’ terms. That’s rubbish. These sitewide discount offers are intended to be just that—sitewide. They are meant to convert browsers to buyers and buyers to loyal repeat customers. That lifetime benefit is worth a meager 10% of your purchase price. (Most sites offer 15-20% because they know the value of a long-term customer.)
But what is almost worse is that it is incredibly difficult and confusing to actually use the discount. There is a field on the checkout page in which to enter the code, but once entered you get an error message saying the code is invalid because you haven’t entered your email address. There is no email field anywhere on the form. They want you to guess that you have to enter your email in the same field you just entered your code into. WTF? After you enter the email you get a message that the code can’t be applied, but they don’t bother to tell you why or what to do about it. This kind of bait-and-switch tactic combined with their bizarre form-field switching will guarantee that their codes won’t get much use. Really, really stupid decisions here, and a great way to lose sales and potential customers forever. Don’t forget to unsubscribe after you leave their site confused, disappointed and angry.

Superb and Unmatched in Customer Service!

"Where do I begin. I ordered a ORCATORCH D630 4000L Canister Light on memorial day for an insanely good price! This is a 650.00 dollar dive light at almost half the price of what it costs anywhere else! I was super excited and happy. Then came the date of delivery and I get a notification that my package was delivered at the front door. So I run to the front door and to my surprise there is no package. I spend about 3 days with USPS, waiting for them to complete an investigation, they inform me that the package was delivered to the wrong address and that they tried to recover it with no success deeming the package "irretrievably lost". At this point I am very upset, as the folks from the address they delivered it to are also claiming they never received a package, and USPS has washed their hands of any responsibility. I called Scuba.com and I explained to the agent my dilemma, I was told she would submit a ticket to see if I could receive a replacement. To my surprise they are sending me out a replacement light! They were not at fault here and they still decided to make it right! Talk about great customer service! All the agents I spoke with were kind and professional. I have ordered other scuba parts from them in the past and have always received the items as described and on-time. I would highly recommend Scuba.com"

Used products? Very old products?

"The products arrived quick but 2 of 3 with problems, looked or used or very old. A computer with very low battery, the manual of the product said, just change the battery at an authorized dealer, means, the brand new dive computer needed services. The manual also said, the battery last at least 2.1 years being used frequently, like 300 dives and 8 years used as a watch, so, used or ver old in the stock. A brand new knife broken. Honestly, was the first time, and my last one on scuba"
