"Folks,

If you have any issue with the stitching then that's it. You will never be able to get the item fixed through sareez.com anymore. In my last order of Lehnga Choli, the tailor made the size of the Choli smaller than the measurements provided. Had to sent many emails with photos etc. to convince them that it was the tailors fault. They finally agreed and asked me to mail the Choli. They also agreed that they will reimburse by way of store credit my shipping charges (which was $25). I mailed the choli on March 5th and informed them. On Mar 26th, got an email telling that the Choli has been fixed accompanied with photos of the Choli with the tape laid out on it to show the fixed measurements. I replied back saying that since the tape wasn't placed stretched out properly, I was in no position to evaluate if the measurements shown were indeed correct or not. I asked them to verify it for me and confirm that it indeed was fixed. That's where they sort of disappeared. I got only one more mail saying that they were still waiting for my reply!!!
I wrote back saying that I had already replied and to let me know what's going on with the Choli correction. Complete silence since then. The timelines of my communication with them are shown below. Now I do not have any hope of the Choli being returned or the postal cost being reimbursed. I had initially given a 5 star rating based on their correspondences but now think I should have waited. So be prepared for a loss of all your money if anything gets wrong during the stitching process.

Jan 28th -- Placed order
Feb 17th -- Received shipment and emailed them about wrong stitching of Choli
Mar 5th -- Mailed back the Choli for fixing
Mar 26th -- Heard back that Choli is fixed. There were photos with a tape to show the fixed measurements
Mar 26th -- I wrote back saying that the tape was not stretched out fully and it was not clear to me from the photo if things were fixed correctly. I requested that they measure it out and confirm back that it is fixed as per specifications.
Mar 28th -- Sent reminder that I hadn't heard back
Apr 3rd -- Email from them saying that they were still waiting for my reply!!!
Apr 3rd -- I resend my past replies (of Mar 26th and 28th).
Today is Apr 16th and complete silence since then!!!

So, Jan 28th till Apr 16th, and after 25 plus emails, my daughter still hasn't been able to wear her Lehenga and never will. I have moved on to Utsav and other sites to order for her now.

"The people from Sareez provided good service. They answer all my question. One thing needs little improvement, is the photo displayed on the web. It displays only front of the lehenga design. I do not know if the design is same in the front and back. If you cannot display all around photo of lehenga then write in the description, or shoot a photo of the model in front of the mirror. This is just my suggestion.

"This company is not professional, accountable or keep the policy practices on their site. I ordered 8 outfits and spent over $400. It would have been better spent with a company who provides what their policy states and cares about customer. Only 1 of 7 outfits was presented: clean, carefully stitched and fit.

I contacted this company and typed out positive resolutions to meet their policies and they have only asserted that the error is in my measurements. If the error is my measurements and not the poor quality of their work how is it that one outfit was made well and the others are garbage, not fitting in several places? This company has not offered any positive resolution and taken any accountability for their workmanship, service, or taking people's money and not providing services promised. I ordered 8 outfits at one time in trust of professional business service, and only one was well done and the measurements were made precise. The first thing is that the outfits smelled like they had been in a barn. The smell was so wretched that they had to be left in the cold window air to be brought into the house.

I contacted them for 3 weeks about the fact that the outfits could not fit. They made the collar point into the jugular and sleeves not sitting on the shoulders, the calf width ordered at 15 inches was cut at 15 and stitched in to fit 10 inches--turn the outfit inside out and it is clear--, there are oil stains on the kameez on arrival for outfits which cost almost $100.

More than 8 e-mails and two phone calls to their USA number I have yet to receive any help. They do not return phone calls and do not answer e-mails. Suraj only says "they were sown to measurement" and Jennifer promised to get back to my family and did not. This is the NATH FAMILY in management and found them unaccountable and unwilling to even discuss adjustments. They take your payment quickly and don't want to answer any questions of refund money or meet clients in re-make or adjustments. WOULD YOU WANT TO SPEND $400+ USD and have garbage---other people's measurements, smelly outfits, unfit outfits that cannot be worn--sent to you?

Basically actions speak louder than words. An image is worth a thousand words. Two of the outfits belonged to other people at what would be a XL American. I wear a medium and the fact that they only stitched in the bottom to pass off the outfit for sale was evident. I will be reporting them to all professional business associations that asked me of my experiences with them.

Ustav and seasonsindia are better companies simply for their service and communication to make sure every order fits.

I encourage customers to spent their money on companies that guarantee service and fit. If Johnston Nath and his co-workers amend their error by their refund (I would send everything flawed back if they refund) or provide physical presence of quality merchandise. If they actually fix a problem they created I will something positive to indicate that they have character and service and should be trusted. For now put your money in companies you can trust. It is easy for people to escape customer responsibility when they are overseas and you are spending your money.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM until there is proof of professionalism, accountability, responsibility and we will know this by follow up comments by the same people who have issues with their actions.
