"Ordered on Monday and received a confirmation almost immediately. I was notified on Wednesday that it was out of stock and might ship on Friday. The following Monday I called to find out that it had indeed shipped on Friday. I received it on Wednesday.

The price was right, it was packaged securely and was exactly what I expected to receive. The only complaint being the notification process. The only way to check the order is via email or phone, I used both and received timely responses except over the weekend. It's not a big deal, but it makes me nervous, especially since this was my first order from them.

I would order from them again, but would call to verify the stock level before doing so."

On the first occasion, Royal Discount accidentally shipped me the wrong item. After I contacted customer service by e-mail, though, the company immediately sent out a replacement product and a paid return sticker so I could ship the other item back with minimal fuss.

With this second order, the process went smoothly. The company didn't send an e-mail confirmation of my order as it did with my first order, but I did receive a shipping notification, which came within a day or two after placing my order. From the time ordered, I had the package in less than a week, even with the Memorial Day holiday.

"Item description said "Microsoft SQL Server 2005 with 5 Client Access Licenses with Visual Studio 2005 Pro Edition". We called and found out it's basically a demo bundle, although both are fully functionl, with keys and media, (no COA). When we received the package, we find that it has only a single CAL and Visual Studio is the Standard version. Talk about false advirtising! Although, Royal Discount is attempting to make good by providing the 5 CALs, they won't provide the Pro version of Visual Studio, writing it off to an incorrect description entry, (the title does say "Standard"). We made the purchase for SQL Server so not getting the Pro version of Visual Studio is not that big of a deal. Vendors really should pay more attention to their product listings. It's hard enough to figure out MS licensing without vendors mistakes. Overall the buying experience was good, it was just a bit troublesome."
